Thanks so much for continually inspiring me! Hugs from Berlin from my beloved cats Hurricane Eddie, Tornado Dana (his sister) I take care of them until they find a final home, (they came from a death station in Greece and now recover with so much energy and curiosity exploring the world) and my own always chilling Sammy , Nino the red wolferine and me always following the lady from BC! Miao! Thanks a lot for sharing so much with the rest of the world.
I loved your tutorial. Going to try your method. Looks like fun. ❤️🙏
I have watched a *lot* of "How to make faux leather from a paper bag" tutorials and have tried quite a few of those along the way. Yours is the first one that I have been completely happy with the result when I finished. :-) Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! I also tried many different ways that didn't quite cut it, until I discovered this method in my experimentations. This method really does look like worn leather! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!

ThNk you for your awesomeness
AMAZING!
Thank you! I've used this faux leather technique in so many projects!
As a vegan, I find this material FANTASTIC! My gears are grinding now! Could you use this as a "leather" material to cut out sewing patterns and sew them together? I can see this as a super cool trench coat if I could fuse a bunch of them together to make HUGE yards of material if that's possible. Can you use a bunch of them to makes several yards of this faux leather? Awesome job. I LOVE this so hard!
It's fairly strong once dry, but I'm not sure if it would be durable enough to be used as clothing. It is still paper after all. However, who am I to say? I haven't tried it so I can't say for sure. Perhaps if it were backed with a cotton fabric or something like that?
This is a great technique. I've used it many times. Love how yours turned out. Merry Christmas. =^^=
Dig this highly🦑
Great idea Katia, thanks for sharing your experiments and ideas, always helpful to see what to do or not to do. I sure hope I haven't offended you in any way, I just want to share information that I've learned. I use to do all the same things everyone else in the world is doing right now, until I learned the truth about it. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
No Becky, not at all!
No worries!!
All good.
I've just been so crazy busy the past couple weeks that I've gotten behind on my correspondence!
I wonder if acrylic paint & mod podge would work?
I think it definitely would!!

Half of what you’re doing & using is totally unnecessary making the faux leather more difficult & lengthy.. I suggest you take a look at Treasure Books & There’s another paper crafter that does it her way too..
While they are much more difficult to listen at bc of babbling..👎🤷♀️
