I want Mr. Jamal to reflect on what that elite did. Did they go back to their communities and uplift their society (education, health wise, etc.)? Most of them chose the comfort of Addis and never went back to their people. So, who should be held responsible for the socioeconomic imbalance in Ethiopia? Thank you!

So, Somali Nationalism existed in the region; Jigjigga was not only one of the centers of SYL but there were members of the organization in many cities, including Harar(Hanollato), Dire Dawa, etc.. One of problems with the highlanders about the Somali question is their consistent denial of calling the region's people Somali People. Example even Mr Yassin, because of obvious reasons, is still using the Ogaden, instead of calling it The Somali Region.
