The Redskins were the most exciting team to watch all year long other than the Lions they had close games like this one but they also had some great games
Anybody notice the clock freeze at around 9 seconds left in game? What was that for in the NFL? The ref must've been thinking NCAA right at that moment. And whoa! That 2-point conversion went right through the hands! The QB had to get some gas on it though. Too bad he didn't wait a split second for the wide open receiver at the back of the End Zone.
Rattler was about 1 second too late with that throw . The ball was supposed to be out right before he got his head around . He was open so it was a decent play call, with all that said a better reciever would have still caught it. It touched his hand.
Half these comments are so funny “I’ve watched football for 30 years and I’ve never seen the game clock stop like that before” you’re telling me you’ve watched football for 30 years and still don’t know that the tv clock never has and never will be what is used to judge how much time is left in the game

Rattler should've been in the whole game. As a Washington fan, the refs and the team tried to give the game to the Saints, but the Saints said "That's ok. Y'all can have it" 😆😆😆
No it was a good call. Going for a tie is like saying you trust your team to go and make a touchdown but not to get like 3 yards. You don't want to give Daniels the ball back. The defense had been on the field for like 40+ minutes of game time at that point
Because the game can keep running past 0:0 in-till the player is takled. If your talking about the 2-point then it’s just that when ever you score it does not matter what time it is you get to go for an extra point even if the clock is at 0:0.
This Saints Team and organization since Drew Brees and Sean Payton are gone resembles the Saints of the Archie Manning era. They are not good enough to win consistently. The Saints are lacking something and I'm not sure if it can be fixed. I don't know if it is bad coaches or bad players. It could be an ownership, or management problem.
@@seanmob2111 It would have been close. As the clock stopped for 4-5 seconds and there was only 3 seconds left on the clock when the ball got spiked. They might have barely been able to get the ball off, but would have had to try and go for it instead of spiking it.
It doesn't matter in the long run. Spencer Rattler had some good plays but did not finish with the win, and now, in hindsight was going for the 2 point conversion a good call? We learned Jake Haener is not a future starting quarterback in the NFL. Rattler maybe, but time will tell. The players didn't do enough to secure Coach Darren Rizzi as the permanent coach and we already knew the defense is not reliable at the end of games or crucial situations and the offensive line is terrible. At this point the best solution may be to sell the team to the billionaire in Houston.
I think they should’ve taken the extra point & went for overtime bc the saints missing all their top players, they had better chance of winning in overtime in my ,I knew they wouldn’t convert in the 2 point attempt
Comment: Listen, both Rattler and play calling going for 2 not one was the first mistake. The play that should have been run should have been a run play. Not one Receiver could get open. Coaches needed a sleeper call, when someone in the backfield drifts in out of the crowd and slides into the open and gets the pass. Rattler should have bought time scrambling till someone got opened. Bad pass by Rattler. poor execution of the play. That's why you need a experienced journeyman QB like Carr.
Whoever is head coach needs to be fired. Bro just kick the damm extra points. Unless you have a play dialed up perfectly your odds of completing the 2 points is slim. You don’t have extra time so just kick the extra point
A little surprised they ran everything to the right on the extra point. They cut off most of their playing field...much easier for the Commanders to defend. IMO.
That's why SC Gamecocks loved having Rattler as their QB!

Who is the pulling guard that leveled #99 on the play @ 1:17 on the game clock he actually took to Redskins out of the play he'll it jarred my teeth
The clock stopped prolly bc there were commander players laying on top of the receiver well after the play was over another “cheat” not to mention the pi that didn’t get called a couple plays prior
Could care less about the Saints or this game...but I love to see the success happening from this year's QB draft class. Also, love the stones go to for two there.
5:25 look at the clock... Very fishy
Rattler struggled at OU but glad to see him doing well.
some real nice throws...
Good call bad execution. Nothing to lose. Draft pick here we come time to get younger.
Half these comments are so funny “I’ve watched football for 30 years and I’ve never seen the game clock stop like that before” you’re telling me you’ve watched football for 30 years and still don’t know that the tv clock never has and never will be what is used to judge how much time is left in the game
Stupid to go for 2!!!
If Penix Jr balls out this is the greatest rookie QB CLASS OF ALL TIME
Missed guy wide open in the back of the endzone on 2 point conversion
I don't know what they were thinking here. They should have just kicked the field goal and tied it up and sent the game into overtime.
Anyone else notice the weird aura of teams when they play the Saints since the new head coach came in when it comes to field goal kickers of the opposing teams ?? since the new coach took over, every game the field goal kickers miss the kicks and I'm talking easy kicks as well..... must be the Special Teams experience he has put in the New Orleans Mojo
Rattler should've been in the whole game. As a Washington fan, the refs and the team tried to give the game to the Saints, but the Saints said "That's ok. Y'all can have it" 😆😆😆
im a ravens fan and one thing i cant stand is a team trying to trash talk another trash team
The saints have a winning aroma. We know the powers that be control who wins and looses. Nfl isn't no different than WWE.
Not Stabler..not Pliskin but Rattler!! I love it! Snake Rattler!! How can you not like that
Rattler is a excellent quarterback! However, I don't understand why coach made the decision on 2-point conversion, instead of tie the game!
That’s on the coaches. They were running on them with ease. Take it to OT.
Spencer is slow and undersized, but he is very accurate. That loss is on the coach for not starting Rattler.
I don't often pull for the Saints but I was pulling for Rattler here.
Is the W for Woke
So amazing. 4 runs plays and a couple pass plays. Rattler is about as good as Caleb Williams.
Give the dude some overtime experience! He will be a starting QB soon enough.
Would love to see Rattler in Dallas!
A Spencer Rattler trade for Dak Prescott would be interesting and both owners might agree. Dak is a Louisiana native.
At this point I would like to see Dak Prescott in a Saints uniform.
I could watch this all day. Who Datt!
The caption of the video was Spencer rattler insane gw drive it should have been miller's insane game winning drive
That was dumb to go for 2 pts , why not give your team a chance to win in overtime? Ya can’t sneak wins in the NFL
No it was a good call. Going for a tie is like saying you trust your team to go and make a touchdown but not to get like 3 yards.
You don't want to give Daniels the ball back. The defense had been on the field for like 40+ minutes of game time at that point
I agree bad decision to go for two give your team a chance 50/50 and overtime
Should be Andre Miller's insane final drive.
Only watching as a commanders fan cause I can watch a great rookie drive while happily knowing we got the W.
Rattler just guaranteed a position moving forward for himself
5:03 Not enough? What the hell that is DPI and they jumped offsides the heck?
Isn't 0:0 time means game is OVER? Why keep on playing???
Because the game can keep running past 0:0 in-till the player is takled. If your talking about the 2-point then it’s just that when ever you score it does not matter what time it is you get to go for an extra point even if the clock is at 0:0.
I love this stat 0:15
Spencer never gets Rattled!!! Go Gamecocks!!
Anyone else notice the clock stopped for a full 4 seconds at the :09 mark???
Why is Rattler getting credit in the title? He didn't do anything. It was all the run game
Just say you didn’t watch the game
Ratler got a taste of NFL defenses when he played Georgia a couple of times.
I thought I was the only one that noticed that
Rattler has ice water in his veins. That kid is legit.
it was a nice drive. Mostly nice runs. Nothing insane about it, but I get you were excited.
Gotta ask why the 2 point
why not. We were 5-8.
If he wouldve just waited before he throw that them Commanders would be sick because 81 was wide open.
The refs tried to give this to the Saints. They were clearly out of time. They even stated that after the game.
After looking they would've had 1 sec atleast
@@seanmob2111 It would have been close. As the clock stopped for 4-5 seconds and there was only 3 seconds left on the clock when the ball got spiked. They might have barely been able to get the ball off, but would have had to try and go for it instead of spiking it.
@@seanmob2111 No, might wanna check your math again
Why did they go for two? Why not take the EP, and take it to OT? They were on a roll, at home.
Saints forgot the game is 60 minutes long. Not just the 30 minutes in the 2nd half 🤦🏻♂️
Gamecock fan here. Rattler is legit.
Why is nobody talking about the obvious defensive PI in the end zone on 3rd down??
The clocked stopped at 9 seconds and stayed for like 4 seconds game would have been over
Horrible they went for 2 ...Peyton would uave kicked it....offense was zapped after that drive.sad.Love my who Dats win or lose!
Pinnacle's Pride! Go Rattler
How can they go for 2 when there’s no time left
I try, but the governmental compliance is beyond acceptable...
Should have gone for the extra point and sent the game into OT!
The Giants shouldve drafted this kid but theyre a mess now anyway ,hopefully they fire everyone at the end of the season
Going for 2 was just crazy
A little surprised they ran everything to the right on the extra point. They cut off most of their playing field...much easier for the Commanders to defend. IMO.
Kendre Miller should've got that 2pt cnv
