I agree. He was broken and Alpha manipulated him to become Beta. But that role sort of released him, made him function and gave him motivation. It shows that when Alpha goes, he looses it.

Makes you wonder what happened to him. He went crazy it seems, but why? Who was that walker he was protecting when he met Alpha? So much to answer but i doubt we will find out now. Plus anybody else hate how they treated this side bit? We did not know about Half Moon till three eps from the characters demise. Then we do not actually learn anything. A Whisperer recognised him and then Negan, that is it. He is super interesting but fuck, give us more then just that.
Agree 100% And also not happy about the way he went out either, that character had ALOT more potential... although i do have a "crazy" theory/idea of his possible survival. It would be a little far fetched but i was one of those people that said Glenn survived during the dumpster thing and people made fun too early. But ehhh, so much left unanswered, absolutely.
@@robstrickenfeary Thanks for the reply, and if anything, Glenn surviving that should mean anything could happen. Beta was done away with quick, main antagonist for barely 2 episodes. I could see his potential in staying alive, a blind whisperer all crazy like, but i think i also see his wasted potential. His whole deal with the walkers talking to him, his determination to avenge a woman who is the only reason he functioned, so much could happen and we might have gotten a proper Negan and Daryl vs Beta fight. But honestly who knows, there might be something else down the track and as i have not read the comics i am not anticipating anything. I am open minded. Edit- Good vid man.
@@tobyoneil1969 Yeah blind Beta would be so incredibly creepy, his other senses become stronger and stuff, he's slithering in and out of walkers, he hears/feels people close to him and he just slashes them. I also imagine him sitting on a throne made of walker heads, and he "knights" new members by putting a skin mask on them 😂 And thankyou :)

Negan confronts him with Lucille 2.0 and they start swinging, Negan gets him down and unmasks him, recognises him and this sets Beta off and he gets the upper hand, about to kill Negan, Daryl saves him and the two put a bloody beat down on him. (SPOILERS) We almost got that, but it was just a super quick cathartic moment over in seconds.
