I have the course cut and fine cut variants. They are great. Washing with WD40 and a brush can work wonders. What would we do without those flap wheels... they work a treat on flails as well.
I think the T blades will fit, but the gear ratio is different between the models, T has a faster stroke rate, so not sure how well the finer blades would cut going slower on an R model 🤷♂, cheers.
Look at all that metal that you are losing on the blades by using a side grinder ! Why don’t you just take your time and use a file you will get a more precise edge and no where nearly as much metal that you are taking off your blades. That grinder reduces the life of your blades big time. Use a file and take your time much better results 👍
No the grinder is fine, i wasnt taking anymore off than needed to get back a sharp edge, I havent got the time to waste using a file. I get Better results with a grinder anyway. Each to there own.

Nice one, yeh flap disks are great, very handy 👍
Hi, great video. I've got the HS87R. If I'm ever to renew the blades, can I fit "T" blades for finer finish?

Cheers, thanks for the info. 😎
Hi got same hedge trimmer get heavy as you get older
Yeh i feel that 😅. Its always a toss up between speed/efficiency and felling knackered, if i choose to use this trimmer over others.

Just a general multi purpose lithium grease, Whatever i have on hand anyway and needs using up 😅
@@RJLmachinery Thanks for letting us know 👍😊
