A great video , really enjoy watching and learning from them. Are you able to do a video on an annual service of the Husqvarna 525 bx blower. All the best from Newcastle.
Hi Mate, I've got an old HS81r.. was running like crap so I got a new carb.. not genuine just a cheapy one. It runs good but cuts out occasionally on idle, I've increased the idle speed and it still happens.. could it be the cheap carb?
If I tighten the hardware on the blades all the way down then my blades seize up and the engine stalls. If I back them out a tiny amount then the machine runs freely but the hardware falls out. I did just buy genuine blades and hardware from stilhl but I almost feel like the spacers are too small. Any tips?
Dont know mate, sounds weird. Did you get the correct spacers? Make sure you haven't got engine running issues. Could also be your clutch is worn maybe.
i have this problem , i am now going to leave them loose and use loctite , i have tried many nuts and torques, if i did what the video shows it would stop and die like yours
Detailed work mate👌 my favourite is when you get a gearbox full of grease mixed with blown needle bearing etc😅
Cheers bud 👍, yeh that is a right mess, done a few of those 😅
You saved an American from a trip to the mechanic shop thank you 🙏
Nice one 👌
Great job! I took mine apart to clean and sharpen but forgot how to reassemble. Glad I found this!
Cheers. I've been in that situation before 😅

Adjust the low speed screw
As Brian says mate it prob needs the carb tweaking a bit. I am doing a carb adjusting vid soon. 👍
@@RJLgardens ok mate cheers, I pretty much do all my work and repairs myself but I still haven't completely got the hang of carb tuning.
@@joshuabush2569 Once it clicks its like a light bulb, 100% worth learning 👍

What could cause the blade to rattle a little at the tip, blades are tight
Hard to say without seeing it mate.
Qué problema es cuando las cuchillas de mi corta césped no dan vuelta no giran
Could be a number of things, so hard to say
that blade was as bent as a dogs hind elephant 🤣 i only use my hs45 for reductions now (to heavy for lots of trimming)
Its a horrible little hedge trimmer 🤣👍
@@RJLgardensI found there was so much vibration on mine.
After years of owning it I decided to sell it and get a HS82 instead.
@@mattseymour8637 Its awful for pro use, like you say, vibrates like mad.
New blades. £100
New Hs45 £270
Maybe I should have just bought a new one….😂
😂 Yeh that is the dilemma. Always go for the cheaper fix option provided the machine isn't on its last legs. They were around £80 when i bought them 👍
