This was my daddy’s favourite hymn I’m sure he’s singing it with the Angels praising his Saviour and Jesus whom he adored !! I lost my dearest daddy in 2010 to Cancer and I miss him everyday but I’m assured I’ll be with him again on the beautiful shore in Heavens glory one day soon !! I was always his little girl no matter what age I became And I want to be his little girl in Heaven once more very soon Thank you for playing this beautiful hymn x
Guys, welcome to the world of Tim Foust! He has one of the most awesome voices on the planet. No one sings lower and that is just one of his talents. He has a 5 octave range that is unbelievable. A0 to G5. As a side adventure you can go to Tim Foust Music and there here his phenomenal talents.
Home Free also collaborates with Peter on the U2 cover, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (on Peter's channel) and they also pair up for the song, 19 You & Me. 😊
6 voices with wonderful harmonies. It was beautiful - on par with How Great Thou Art. Peter and Tim have known and worked with each other for over 20 years, so they know each other's voices and can arrange for each other so well. Tim and Peter have a number of duets, and a few of them include their wives. They also collaborate with The Hound & The Fox - Peter, Tim, and Chance have all done songs with them. They aren't a capella most of the time, but their acoustic instruments aren't intrusive.
Great reaction! Tim can sing many octaves. Tim and Peter did an Amazing cover of Bridge Over Trouble Waters. And Greensleeves! Tim also has a new album of do wop songs. God bless you two!
Hey you two Peter and Tim have done many songs together my personal favorites are misty mountains, bridge over trouble water, sound of silence, and green sleeves. Three of them are Simon and Garfunkel songs. I'm a huge fan of them. You need to check out their cover of Boyz to men end of the road to hear more of robs angelic voice. Robs got the beard and glasses. Thanks so much can't wait for more Home free.
Loved your reaction to Tim's riff. You should hear his solo version of Can't Help Falling in Love with You. Speaking of Boyz II Men, I don't think you've seen Home Free's cover of End of the Road. Rob and Austin shine.
Okay, so now you got the Pentatonix and Peter Hollens/Home Free versions done. Which are some of the best versions I've ever heard. But now you should do who I believe to have the best version of this song. LeAnn Rimes solo acapella version sung with the aid of some beautiful acoustics in a cathedral style church. It's stunning, and powerful.
Thanks for a great reaction to this beautiful song. Peter Hollens is an amazing singer songwriter. All of the guys are amazing. Misty Mountains has been mentioned, Peter and Tim to it so well. Thanks y'all.
Now that you've done Home Free and Pentatonix doing "Amazing Grace", I'd like to suggest a little twist. Check out Dan Vasc, a heavy metal singer, and his rendition of "Amazing Grace" -- jaw-dropping.
Home Free Go rest high the mountain is still my favorite track of theres. Being a fourth generation vet, I remember my dad teaching me how to fold the flag properly. I never knew as a child how much it meant till I started seeing them as adult, including my dad's and my oldest brother and one day my son will get mine.
Hi I am a new subscriber and thank you for reacting to this song. I had this version played at my mom's celebration of life after she passed away this year in January and it still hits me in the feels every time I hear it. Thank you again.
This is one of the most beautiful versions of the hymn. Peter Hollens has another collaboration with them of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for" that's also terrific. They're all vocal chameleons and sing everything from gospel to goofy. They don't have a lead singer, whomsoever sounds best singing it does so. For example, Austin wrote "Give Me A Sign" but sings back-up harmony.
I'm Here for this and as always Holding on God! Home free is amazing! Also, it looks like I only have about a week left with the Internet, just want you to know that I have loved your reactions from day one. Going to miss watching you two and the needed friendships. Just the life of this old vet.
@@aymee7136 can't afford with trying to keep power and food. It is what it is. This old vet is used to not having. Yet no matter what I don't have, I HAVE GOD AND GOD HAS ME!! PRAISE THE LORD.
@@JonathanBoden-u5pman, I'm sorry to hear that. If I could figure out how to share my Wi-Fi with you I would. I like having you around. I'm thankful that you know that God has your back. @@aymee7136 thank you for the sweet and kind words. The prayers mean a lot. To be honest, I interact with more people on here in a day, than i do in a month outside in real life. It won't be easy but God has me.
Believe it or not, but Home Free has an amazing version of Boys to Men's "End of the Road". It may seem a weird choice of songs for Home Free to cover, but it's really, really good. One of their best and Rob really gets a chance to shine.
Home Free has been friends with Peter Hollens for a long time; Peter is primarily a solo artist but collaborates with Home Free every once in awhile. (His "Bridge Over Troubled Water" with Tim Foust is incredible!!🥰) Home Free does an amazing job at brilliantly simple--but still entertaining--videos. I highly recommend "My Country 'Tis of Thee" and "Mary Did You Know".
i love you reactions to. home free, and to tim and peter's duets If you want to hear Austin so a bit gospel on you you should listen to home free's version of Beautiful star of Bethlehem
Peter has a great voice, I actually prefer his lower register. His cover of The Prayer that he did with his wife some years ago is one of my favorite examples of his lower voice. Also, Peter did "The Misty Mountain' from the Lord of the Rings series with Tim Foust and it's AWESOME.
There is no doubt you are people of your word and love both you ! May God keep growing your channel so you can spread those seeds far and wide ! You will be at 5 k before your next live!
This is so very beautiful! The did an awesome job with this. You should listen to Chris Rupp's version of Amazing Grace. Chris is Adam Rupp's brother from Home Free. He and Chris started Home Free. Chris left to pursue other things and was replaced by Adam Chance. Please check it out. It is beautiful as well. Love your reactions. God Bless You both!
Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so you were getting a taste of it here. He can sing way lower and way higher. Peter has a beautiful voice and he and Tim have a lot of songs together. They recently put out an album together. Lots of great singers here. Rob (glasses) can sing opera and he and Austin (high tenor with red hair) sing Nessun Dorma on Austin Brown’s channel. For Peter and Tim, try Misty Mountains, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Greensleeves, And So It Goes. Home Free - try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, Brother. 😍
Geoff bass from Voice Play was helped by Tim to get low and Avi from Pentatnoix and Tim are great friends. I would suggest Avi Kaplan song Change on the Rise. He went solo when he left Pentatonix. I also would suggest the song they did with Chris Rupp one of the founding members before he left called Moving On, he and his brother Adam (beatboxer) do a few seconds together.
Oh, y'all have seen juat the tip of HF's talents! Peter Hollens & Tim Foust (Peter's channel): Misty Mountains. For Veterans Day (HF): Brothers In Arms for more low notes (Tim & Chance). Austin Brown's channel: Bring Him Home (solo with piano) & Two Country Singers Try to Sing Opera (Nessun Dorma) for be Rob-smacked. After you learn each member's vocal role, Mayday!
If y’all want to dive into some more Peter Hollens, “Hallelujah” featuring Jackie Evancho is right up your alley. He has a few more songs with Home Free and Tim Froust. Anything Lord of the Rings/Hobbit related are phenomenally done. Especially his solo work of “I See Fire”.
Amazing voices & song! I love Home Free. Pentatonix are also an amazing A Capela group. No shade on all these guys, because they are indeed great. However, I love PTX even more, with their diversity. One woman, 2 black men & 2 gay men. Totally different vibe, exactly as music should be. ~ Another song you guys should hear is by Carrie Underwood & it's her version of 'How great thou art' and it is breath taking.
If you want to see the Holy Spirit take over, listen to Vince Gill & Carrie Underwood. You have never seen anything like it! Blessings from beginning to end!
Oh Holy Night will blow you away
This song will be played at my homecoming service when my time comes. Tim Foust is my favorite.

Yes Tim’s range in INCREDIBLE!!!
I just adore y'all! They will smack you in the face with this, but I'm thinking we, the world, needs to be smacked in the face right about now! 🙏🏻
Austin actually sang some southern gospel and his dad was part of a SG quartet.
In my Will I have it that this and How Great Thou Art from Home Free be played at my memorial service
I have in a pinned comment on my Instagram that I want Chris Rupp with Home Free Movin On played at my memorial service.
@@angelamason9840 I play that every year the day before the anniversary of my daughter's death. It is such a great song.

Such a beautiful version of this song by far. Thanks for the reaction
They are an amazing group.
You might like Dan Vasc's version that he put up for Easter. He's a metal singer, but did a wonderful job on the hymn...
