They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is Sorry for the long read 🍟😊
My favorite Acapella group. They are so versatile, such a good hearted group. Their beatboxer is amazing, five octave bass. Many special gifts in this group.
Home Free has the best blend in the business as far as I'm concerned. Their harmonies are simply unmatched. Thanks for the reaction guys. Oh, and btw, fans of Home Free are called home fries -------> 🍟😆
Home free, Go rest high on that mountain is a favorite for this old vet. Being fourth generation vet. I remember my dad talking to me about the sacrifices it takes. There are some generational curses no one talks about. Maybe because they are not seen as such, yet maybe they should be. But what do I know. I wake up disappointed. It is what it is. Still Holding on God.
Home Free brings a worshipful respect to their gospel music that is very reverentful and exudes honor the song is intended for. They are very intentional in this regard and it is not about them. Everytime I hear them sing a gospel related song, I feel like I was just in church and am worshiping right along side them. 🌠🌟🌌❣
Home Free is the REAL DEAL. The best harmonies in the business. Their cover with Peter Hollins on Amazing Grace is also amazing. As for original music, i really like So Long Dixie, Cross that Bridge, Skull & Bones, Understand, Road Sweet Road, Dive Bar Saints & Stargazer Lilles.
HF 101: Group was formed in 2000 by baritone Chris and beatboxer Adam Rupp. Tenor Rob Lundquist (glasses) introduced himself to the group in 2008, about the time that HF went full-time. Tim Foust has been bringing the bass since 2012. The group met tenor Austin Brown aboard a cruise ship in late 2012, then asked him to come aboard in early 2013. Chris Rupp left the group in late 2015, and was replaced by Adam "Chance." HF's extraordinary versatility is highlighted by the fact that there is no primary lead singer. This song is a special treat because Adam Rupp generally doesn't sing, but does so beautifully.
They of course work out their fine harmony tracks in a studio ..... but, with FIVE PHENOMENAL VOCAL TALENTS like these men herein .... a wonderful choral sound assaults the senses .... and you embrace it as you would a light from above .... They have no equal in A Capella signing. They add a few bars of "It is well with my heart" and of course it is welcomed as if it were composed that way. Home Free, Just so great thou art ..... God blessed us with them. GBjj
IMO the best acapella group out there. The blend of their voices is unmatched. So glad you found them. Their music is a treat. Fans are called Home Fries and their covers are called upgrades! They have many originals too. Such a talented group. Subbing today for more HF. (Hint - if you did a regular HF day, maybe HF Friday, the fans will definitely support your channel and your membership will grow like you won’t believe!).
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. They are extremely talented. Every sound you hear come from their mouths. This is by far the best version I have ever heard! Love your reactions!
So, Home Free does tend to lean country(ish) but sing many types of music. They sing all a cappella most of the time. The beat boxer (who sings in this one) does use a looper when they tour (which they do extensively). Pentatonix and Voice Play are the other two major a cappella groups out right now. Pentatonix won a season of The Sing off and Home Free and VoicePlay competed on the next season and Home Free won that one. There are times Home Free has used an instrument but they always highlight the instrument in the video so, if you don't see it, it was their voices that made the sound No idea why I had a sneaking suspicion you two would love this . Enjoy the ride as, I'm sure we all are! PS Home Free fans call themselves Home Fries and many #HOG consider themselves Hog Fries.
This song definitely makes me emotional--Home Free's version is my very favorite version of all the many, many I have heard 😍 Besides the unbelievable 5-part harmony--and gorgeous backdrop of the Austrian Alps--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Home Free is incredible. They won the 4th season of the NBC show the Sing Off. All a cappella and they sing all genres of music. They filmed this in the Austrian Alps when they were touring there. They have a large catalogue of music and have sung with Kenny Rogers, Don McLean, Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama. You might enjoy their collaborations with Peter Hollens (another amazing a cappella artist) singing Amazing Grace. Love their Christmas music too. God is great! Try Children Go Where I Tell Thee (with Kenny Rogers), Amazing Grace, Heaven. 😇😃
I grew up in CofC and we had no musical instruments. We always sang this song, wasn't as beautiful as this, but it came from the heart. I played this song at my son's funeral.
A Take 6 shout-out?!?! Brother, you just made my day!! I love those guys! Their "He is Christmas" album is on my must-play list every year. And a Point of Grace shout-out too?! You guys have a new subscriber on those shout-outs alone!! 😁 This is the song that introduced me to the amazing and hilarious gentlemen of Home Free about five years ago. I sang it all the time in church, but it never sounded like this! These guys got their start in my state of Minnesota, and they are my favorite acapella group. They cover all genres, and everything they do is phenomenal! So glad I found you two! God bless you guys!!
I am 70 & white as snow & I sang this one all my life in church, as well. LOL This is beautiful & these guys are super talented & to do it A Capela is amazing to me. That being said, Carrie Underwood will make you cry at the beauty of her version. It is unbelievably powerful & she sings like an angel with an awe-inspiring voice. You MUST watch that one as well. Vince Gill sings back up and plays guitar on it too. They do it at an awards show, so it is live & unbelievable.
This is home Frees most beautiful video! I love the mashup of the two hymns! Good luck with your ministry! Home Frees music is very positive! Can’t wait for your next reaction to this group! Listen to “Oh Holy Night”; “Still Haven’t found what I’m Looking For”; “Amazing Grace”! They have a silly side too…”Good Ole Boy Good Time” & “Champagne taste on a beer budget”! Enjoy their huge catalog of great music!
I thank God that you are lovin this with me, Macus and Christian thank you you for sharing your love of beauty with us... sure does help when by accident we meet.... thank you GOD for today, with you tonight.
Great reaction guys ya'll find out that Home Free is a one of a kind group they don't just tour in the U.S. and Canada but all over Europe and Australia as well and these guys are very down to earth. I would suggest there cover of everyone walking this land. 😊
Absolutely one of my favorite hymns!! Great reaction guys!! They do an amazing job of this beautiful hymns. Y'all check out this same hymn sung by Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill. The live version. Keep up God's work.
They are acapella but don't always just do Christian music, but they do have several songs that are Christian and most of their other stuff is pretty modest. They do country, oldies, pop, and R&B, and a couple of the tenors in the group have even done an Opera video, and did it well. They are unique and are well known for their harmonies. Their bass is amazing, and their beatboxer is amazing. I just love this group.
The Spirit was with these young men in the Austria Alp last summer. Just in case you're wondering, all the very high notes in this song is the beat boxer Adam Rupp and his beautiful Alto voice. Which we RARELY get to hear. This video was recorded and shot in the Austrian Alps last summer during their European tour. Gid is good all the time, one only has to still your mind to hear him. He whispers on the breeze, in the rain, snow and in the birds singing in the trees. I walk by FAITH not by sight. God and Jesus are my rock and my fortress, in their hands I placed my life years ago. Amen.
Yea, just wow! Love y'all! I decided to join the chorus, my senior year of high school. (First tenor) The only thing I lettered in. 😂 If I had only known the bonds that music created between people, all ethnicities, I would have done it sooner! Bless you and peace, from NC
This was filmed in the Austrian Alps. Home Free is also ego-free there is no lead singer - they decide who will sing lead depending on who sounds best doing so. 3 of them are song writers so there are lots of originals as well as covers. They're independent, having bought out their record company contract several years ago. I think you'd enjoy their versions of "Amazing Grace" & "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem". When Austin Brown (long curly hair) was a kid, he sometimes traveled & sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia. Fall down the rabbit hole - it's a great trip!
New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and Stargazer Lilies trilogy: Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...Their latest releases are Might As Well Be Me, Playing With Fire and Remember My Name. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
This is one of the very best versions of this beautiful song of praise, in my opinion. ❤ You should also react to Amazing Grace by a capella group, Pentatonix, and also by Dan Vasc, metal singer. Both are absolutely beautiful in different ways! 👍
Markis & Christian, this is my first time viewing you guys reaction! I’ve been watching HF reactions for a very long time now, and I am excited that God has led me to you both to follow! I totally believe that He strategically positions His children into various arenas to spread His goodness, mercy, and love to others! I appreciate your desire to unashamedly lift Him up for the world to see your pure hearts worshipping our precious Lord, Jesus! BTW, I do remember Take 6!
Hey there ! God bless you for reaching out it means the world to us to hear this and truly helps us keep going forward for Christ with the fire in our hearts for Him! We wish you all the peace and blessings in this life 🙏❤️
Cannot wait for you to go down this rabbit hole. They are amazing. Check out their version of "O Holy Night". Yall are so precious and have such a beautiful family. Please listen to Cimorelli. Just look up their name and search for their Christian songs. They have very empowering and uplifting and tbh healing music. Love you guys. God bless.
Subbed! Try their cover of, "Do You Hear What I Hear?". Their beatboxer did the arrangement and it is impressive. He kept the rest of the group on their toes.
Prayers welcome but my hearts done with the “Living” … God doesn’t answer my prayers ever… Bless the world ❤ Beautiful Swiss Alps in summertime 😮 💜🌎🇺🇸🙏👻
Wow, you two are amazing people, definitely subscribing, and hope to go down the rabbit hole with you. To make a suggestion, save Mayday until you know them better, you'll appreciate more then. Some great starters are My Church, Ring of Fire, and Boyz II Men end of the road and definitely Man Of Constant Sorrow. These will show you their great diversity.
Just subbed love these guys. A little Home Free a day helps keep the blues away. The clip of the song " My Church" is a must so many others any song you pick will be great. Enjoy the ride!.
Dude, I see your eyes. this is my famiy's funeral song as well, and gonna have a copy of this for my time for sure. But, I see your eyes, and through them, i see your souls..... thank you.
Home Fries, I recommend you see these guys' reactions to NF. NF is a rapper who addresses emotional issues from a really crappy upbringing. However, he is also a Christian (but not a 'Christian rapper' in the sense of making church-oriented music) and is showing us his own journey dealing with the dark recesses of his soul. His work often includes singing mixed in with the rapping. He is also very easy to understand in the same way Home Free always enunciates well, and also never has salty language in his songs.
@@wolfe6220 My first NF song was "How Could You Leave Us?" and I still think it's a great introduction, although others claim you should do all songs chronologically (a bit picky for me). Be forewarned, you will need tissues: it makes Monsters (James Blunt) feel like Walking on Sunshine (Katrina and the Waves)
Great reaction to a great song by a great group. They have funny, serious, patriotic and religious songs. If you haven't checked them out yet please try a couple songs by For King & Country. God Only Knows and Shoulders. God bless.
Hi, it’s me again. Keep spreading the message. Love y’all and also I don’t smoke weed the JSC 420 is my name Jeremy Shane Cooper and my birthday is April 20 so I don’t smoke weed a lot of people see that and think that I smoke weed but I don’t. Be safe God bless and is always one big love.
Song requests, if you haven't heard it (but you probably have) but if not, please check out the christian songs sunday sermons and devil by anne wilson

Oh Holy Night is performed so beautifully by these guys
My favorite Acapella group. They are so versatile, such a good hearted group. Their beatboxer is amazing, five octave bass. Many special gifts in this group.

Anytime all five are singing it is special.
These guys can sing any genre and do.

Traveling Soldier is another great cover that has me crying like a disgraced politician whenever I hear it.
Home Free brings a worshipful respect to their gospel music that is very reverentful and exudes honor the song is intended for. They are very intentional in this regard and it is not about them. Everytime I hear them sing a gospel related song, I feel like I was just in church and am worshiping right along side them. 🌠🌟🌌❣

gives a whole new meaning to the old saying "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord."
I love you guys, a strong Christian relationship is EVERYTHING.

I’m going to see them live in November in Cincinnati. Saw them once at the Grand Ole Opry.
Take 6 was awesome. Very underrated.
God bless.
You might like Randy Travis' "Three wooden crosses".
Old vet is here, watching and listening.
Subbed! Try their cover of, "Do You Hear What I Hear?". Their beatboxer did the arrangement and it is impressive. He kept the rest of the group on their toes.
Beautiful
Song requests: "Amazing Grace" and "The Prayer" by Pentatonix
Prayers welcome but my hearts done with the “Living” … God doesn’t answer my prayers ever… Bless the world ❤ Beautiful Swiss Alps in summertime 😮 💜🌎🇺🇸🙏👻
They were in the Alps and when they saw the area, called their people to come over and make this.
Another one y’all might enjoy is Cody Johnson - By your grace, definitely an amazing song
Just wait until you hear the Christmas songs
Just subbed love these guys. A little Home Free a day helps keep the blues away. The clip of the song " My Church" is a must so many others any song you pick will be great. Enjoy the ride!.
Filmed on the location where Julie Andrews sang her famous song in the movie Sound of Music.
Subscribed for Home Free

Dude, I see your eyes. this is my famiy's funeral song as well, and gonna have a copy of this for my time for sure. But, I see your eyes, and through them, i see your souls..... thank you.
No thank you Greg for sharing that with us. God bless you , we love you. That means the world to us 🙏❤️
Home Fries, I recommend you see these guys' reactions to NF.
Sounds like I'll be downloading some of his music! Thanks😊
YES!!! I ❤ take 6 !!!
Take 6 was the best!!
Subbed for more Home Free. Great reaction ❤
Take 6!!!!! Mary Dont you weep!
Great reaction to a great song by a great group. They have funny, serious, patriotic and religious songs. If you haven't checked them out yet please try a couple songs by For King & Country. God Only Knows and Shoulders. God bless.
Your group was called One Voice. You should listen to Home Free's One Voice video!!! I went to a Take 6/Manhatten Transfer concert. Very good music.

A Christian couple who hasn’t heard of one of the most popular hymns ever written? Interesting.
