I bought the seven qt kit from Amazon, NO problem. They also have a 6 pack of Wix XP 57899XP filters (work great) for $66.87. The Napa Platinum filter for the 392 is also made by Wix but it's more expensive. This is a good bargain for a quality filter, you can also run Royal Purple synthetic 0W-40 and it's my preference overall.
Good job on the video. I have only done 1 oil change so far on my 11 SRT8 that I bought last year in 2018 with only 15k miles. Will be doing another soon even though I only put a little more than 2000 miles on it since the last one. I used Mobil 1 0W40, I might try the Penzoil this time around. Think you might want to add check the reading on the dipstick to the vid. I know it's a bit OCD but I really like to confirm it's reading correctly visually so I can have a reference for when I check it down the road a few months.
I use the SRT filter on my 6.1 Hemi. I get it at the dealership for around 16 bucks. Amazon says it wont fit on a 2009 SRT8 but it does. The entire oil change at the dealership is about 95 dollars. They do a good job so far after 2 oil changes.
I usually emptied the catch can every other oil change, here’s a video on that if you’re interested: ruclips.net/video/7B32X6kFu5w/видео.htmlsi=WhQFuljSA33q4zvs
I wanna know how you got the car up on the ramp with the front lip because my car was way to low to even begin to go up the ramp without flexing the front lip to get up the ramp
@@globoymanny2485 I use a couple of wooden planks used to load my dirtbike. I just put them in front of the ramps so it doesn't drag or scrape going up the ramps.
13:59 Cheeezz this beeping sound makes me howling ,Its too loud ,my head wants to crack every time I start the beast ,Is there a solution for this? Nice video
Thanks! I don’t know if it’s actually possible to turn off that beeping lol just buy some noise cancelling headphones and wear them for the first 5 seconds of starting the car

Great video. Thanks for making this!
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Nice to see you went with a shaker! Don't forget to fill the new filter with oil before you screw it back on!
Thanks!
2% oil life is wild

Thanks! And ya the reason I went with Penzoil was because that’s what the owners manual recommended. Dip stick would also be a good idea👌

I haven’t had much luck with dealership oil changes lol
Did you forget your oil catch can

Finally a smart guy that used ramps instead of playing with a jack & stands. I think you're the only one!
Only reason is because I don’t have jack stands lol, but I agree ramps are definitely safer in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

The rear wheels were in the dip of the driveway in order to make the front a little bit elevated to clear the lip

If you ever figure it out let me know lol
Make sure you only have one oil ring on your filter some times the old one will stick to the mounting area you can also upgrade to the set oil filter
Srt
Thanks!
Good point.
GREAT TUTORIAL BRO!!! I RATHER PAY THE $95.00
Thanks!
I stopped watching this video when you called the oil filter a AIR FILTER Twice ! You’re clueless & exposed ! 👎
