  • This is my new sleeper 2019 Chrysler 300 AWD Sport with the Pentistar 3.6 V6 rated at well over 300 hp. I applied my budget approach to intake and exhaust performance resulting in more low end torque, much better throttle response at all engine RPM, improved fuel economy highway and city, at least 6 mpg improvements actoss the board. well exceeds factory EPA ratings. basically removed the very heavy restrictive resonator mufflers at the rear underside of the car, and replaced them with very light weight Flow Monster 1 chambered mufflers, half the price of a Flowmaster muffler and equal performance and great sound. Usually the modern DOHC engines do not sound great with the exhaust upgrades, I believe this one sounds powerful but not obnoxious like some performance exhausts out there for well over $1000 for complete catback systems. This exhaust mod cost me a total of $80 for a muffler shop to weld on, install mufflers and exhaust hangars and $30 a piece for each muffler. $140 total, which is a great deal for the performance and fuel economy improvements.
