Our Cat-Back system for the 2019 Dodge Charger reuses the factory tips. It does not need to be clamped or welded on to our system. If you need help finding a part number for the Charger systems please let us know. The Charger and the Challenger have different systems.
The S-Type part number is 140649. The ATAK part number is 140650. If you plan to purchase a system, we recommend ordering from one of our dealers as they will have the better price. Our dealers are typically about 10% off of MSRP.

While we haven't attempted to homologate any Borla ATAK systems for approved use in Switzerland, the ATAK line is probably far too aggressive to ever be approved anywhere in Europe. You guys require very mild sounds and we have other product lines that are a better fit for your requirements. Please contact us for more details.
Hi Borla, I have Questions for your product. I have a 2015 Challenger SXT Plus Fully loaded version and it came with the O.E.M Mopar Cold Air Intake. Also would like to know if the Borla ATAK system will be louder due to having a Mopar Cold air Intake or the sound will be the same like in the video?
Yes, our systems for the 2015-2021 Dodge Charger V6 will sound similar! Please let us know if you need part numbers for the Charger systems. We offer Touring and S-Type as well.
It sounds great, but not $1600 great. EDIT: I tried the "Tim B" magnaflow copies and they suck, way too much drone and cabin noise. My S-Type system will be here Monday, found it for $1450 on E-Bay.

Hi so I currently have a Cold air intake and a stock exhaust it gives it a deeper tone I want to have the deepest sound not necessarily the loudest I like the Atak but also don’t want it to be Ricey. The dealership mentioned the Mopar performance exhaust is that made by Borla ?
Hello. Thank you for reaching out! We do manufacture some exhaust systems for Mopar Performance, but not all of them. If you have the part number of the Mopar Performance system we can check if it is a system that we made. Please keep in mind that those systems are made according to Mopar's specifications. They will be slightly different from the Borla branded systems.
Okay would y’alls be louder I am thinking of the S type but I would like the Atak I just don’t want it to be ricey. Which would you recommend getting for a loud, deep tone ?
If you are looking for a lower tone, I would recommend the S-Type system. The S-Type is not going to be as aggressive and loud as the ATAK, but it is going to have a slightly deeper tone than the ATAK.
Thinking of buying this for my challenger the atak but I can’t seem to find out if it’ll cause any problems or issues with the factory warranty , will it void my warranty ?? Please I want to know thanks !
Hi. Thank you for reaching out to us! A cat-back exhaust is legal and will not void warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealership can't deny you of your warranty if you only have a cat-back exhaust system. Cat-back systems also retain the factory catalytic converters so it is emissions legal. Thank you!
In our testing, on a vehicle with no other modifications, part number 140650 averaged 94.5 dBs using test standard SAE J1492. Please note these tests were performed on a vehicle that was completely stock with the exception of part number 140650.
Hi. Thanks for reaching out to us. You will not need a tune for a cat-back system, but I cannot speak for the cold air intake. You might want to check with the manufacturer of your intake. Thank you.
Hi. Thank you for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about that. Please give our customer service department a call at 1-877-462-6752(Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm PST).
Are these really drone free? I’m very sensitive to drone but want something louder over stock on my V6 Challenger so looking at the S Type as I don’t want too loud.

Hi. Thank you for your interest! The ATAK system is going to be the louder and more aggressive sound level. The S-Type is not as loud as the ATAK, but it is still a significant increase in sound and tone over the stock system. The ATAK will have a slightly higher pitch and the S-Type will have a lower, deeper tone. The difference is a little hard to tell in the video. It's difficult to recommend a sound level since it has a lot to do with personal preference, but we hope that this helped a little. Thank you!

Did you ever find out what's better. Atak or s-type?
@@Korupt81 The answer is still pending.
Question for Borla: Is the BORLA-ATTAK exhaust system approved in Switzerland? I would like to add it to my GT AWD.
Regards from Switzerland
While we haven't attempted to homologate any Borla ATAK systems for approved use in Switzerland, the ATAK line is probably far too aggressive to ever be approved anywhere in Europe. You guys require very mild sounds and we have other product lines that are a better fit for your requirements. Please contact us for more details.
Is their a video comparison of the axle back and cat back set ups? How much better and deeper toned is the full cat back?
Hello! This video is of our cat-back systems. We do not offer axle-backs for this vehicle.
would it increase the HP on 2019 challenger sxt?
8-12 according to their website

Question for Borla: Does the Borla Atak exhaust system for the V6 will also fit on a RT or Scat pack in case from upgrading the car in the future.
Hi! The V6 Challenger Cat-Back systems won't work for the Challenger R/T or Scat Pack.
If you put h pipes on their too would it sound even deeper?
Hi Borla, I have Questions for your product.
I have a 2015 Challenger SXT Plus Fully loaded version and it came with the O.E.M Mopar Cold Air Intake.
I would like to know by adding the Borla ATAK system will it add more horsepower and if it does by how much?
Also would like to know if the Borla ATAK system will be louder due to having a Mopar Cold air Intake or the sound will be the same like in the video?
Hello! You can expect a gain of 5-6 horsepower with our systems. The cold air intake isn't going to affect how our exhaust system sounds.
Will the charger sound like this?
Yes, our systems for the 2015-2021 Dodge Charger V6 will sound similar! Please let us know if you need part numbers for the Charger systems. We offer Touring and S-Type as well.
It sounds great, but not $1600 great. EDIT: I tried the "Tim B" magnaflow copies and they suck, way too much drone and cabin noise. My S-Type system will be here Monday, found it for $1450 on E-Bay.
mcm95403 1600 ? Mine was 1200
How much the atak ?

Blows any other exhaust for the 3.6l away I’m extremely impressed hopefully it doesn’t resist any airflow tho I’ve gotten “performance” exhaust set ups just to find out it actually resisted airflow just for a deeper sound I want my car to breath and sound good

i know what i want for my new Frostbite Challenger.. yep yep!
Question for Borla: Is there a version of the Atak exhaust for the 2022 Dodge Charger GT? cause the website says its only for the SXT.
Hi. Unfortunately, we don’t currently have systems that will work with the Charger GT. However, we do have plans to update the tailpipes on our existing SXT systems to add tips that will work on the Charger GT.
@@borla will you guys make a video on that system when it comes out? Cause I really love the sound the Atak exhaust has, and its the only exhaust system im actually considering.
@@th3gho5t40 Our Dodge Charger 3.6L and Challenger 3.6L systems use identical mufflers. The sound is going to be similar between them so this video will give you an idea of what you can expect with the Charger systems! We are only updating the tailpipes to add tips for the GT models.

I have 2019 Challenger GT. Probably, a question for the dealer. But, would your ATAK exhaust void my warranty? As much I want to do this mod. Keeping my limited bumper-bumper is important.
Hi. Thanks for contacting us! If you are in the U.S. it will not void your warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Thank you.

I also didn’t mention I have a 2018 charger
If you are looking for a lower tone, I would recommend the S-Type system. The S-Type is not going to be as aggressive and loud as the ATAK, but it is going to have a slightly deeper tone than the ATAK.
So I got the Borla S type for my charger from Autohance.com is that a trusted source ?
Thinking of buying this for my challenger the atak but I can’t seem to find out if it’ll cause any problems or issues with the factory warranty , will it void my warranty ?? Please I want to know thanks !
Hi. Thank you for reaching out to us! A cat-back exhaust is legal and will not void warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealership can't deny you of your warranty if you only have a cat-back exhaust system. Cat-back systems also retain the factory catalytic converters so it is emissions legal. Thank you!
Borla Performance Industries do yall have one for the 2018 dodge challenger v6 ?
@@acenobody3618 Both systems fit 2015-2020 V6 Challengers
How loud is the atak
In our testing, on a vehicle with no other modifications, part number 140650 averaged 94.5 dBs using test standard SAE J1492. Please note these tests were performed on a vehicle that was completely stock with the exception of part number 140650.
How much louder is the atak? I have a 2017 GT awd
(Also, I have the dirt sport exhaust on my dads FJ cruiser and it sounds great)
Its loud!!!!
@@SF.Automotive how loud?

Its loud but in a good way, not loud to the point where its all like “why your car so loud but your so slow” kinda way.
So no drone at any RPMs? Drone has made me regret purchases before so for this kind of money I'd need a guarantee of no drone.
I got it for my sxt plus, no drone at all it literally sounds stock inside the cabin.
s-type or atak?
I say atak , sounds deeper
Atak
If adding a cold air intake and the Attack exhaust. Will the motor need retuned or factory setup still acceptable?
Hi. Thanks for reaching out to us. You will not need a tune for a cat-back system, but I cannot speak for the cold air intake. You might want to check with the manufacturer of your intake. Thank you.
Thanks for the response. S-Type is coming right after Christmas!
I got Borla s type for my v6 last week but having some drone issues at 1500 rpm . It's very annoying.

How come you can't get the dual tips like for theR/T....i think #43? I want this exhaust but also those square quad tips
I think you could but you need to get the 5.7 version, these exhaust are only for the v6 as they have a different pipe diameters
But eitherway you can always get custom tips
Are these really drone free? I’m very sensitive to drone but want something louder over stock on my V6 Challenger so looking at the S Type as I don’t want too loud.
We guarantee that you will not experience any drone with our systems!
Please tell me that this same sound can happen on the 2011 Dodge Charger V6

So s-type is the only option?
confused b/w borla S-type and atak .Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Sissy type and you have the attack mode.
