Great first impression of Egotistic. The visuals are pretty overwhelming so it's hard to grok what's really going on but you did a nice job of catching the essential vibe of their solo moments. You're absolutely right that the sexiness isn't trashy or gratuitous. There's almost always more to a MMM MV than the stunning visuals that meet the eye on first view. I'll put the sexiness into context for you:
Egotistic is title track #2 from Mamamoo's four album series called 4 Season 4 Color. Each album has a theme season & color and each title track explores the emotions of a stage in a four part relationship cycle. Egotistic is the Summer/Red song and Passion is the stage of love, in this case their passionate emotions in response to the egotistic lover. In the MV each member expresses her own take on Red/Passion via her wardrobe, props and actions and each seems to represent a stage in leaving the egotistic jerk:
Moonbyul (rapper) = Anger (tosses chair). Red/passion = strong, confident, independent.
Hwasa (you know her) = Defiance (stares down jaguar). Red/passion = wild, fierce, uninhibited.
Wheein (car, tats) = Revenge (burns his guitar in effigy). Red/passion = hot-tempered badass bitch on wheels.
Solar (pole) = Liberation (flies on pole). Red/passion = sensual, sexy, provocative.
I think you'll spot more details about the characters they play as you rewatch the MV. They use the Spanish guitar intro to imply that Egotistic is generated from the same emotional source as the passion and duende expressed by flamenco and then they take you on an audio-visual journey through the Spanish diaspora via the images and the reggaeton beat and latin pop influence in their song & MV. 😂
I think you put it so well, the Egotistic MV shows them being very sexy without feeling raunchy, just *powerful* and *confident*! Mamamoo are so inspiring in the way all of the members refuse to be anything other than who they are. So excited to see you continue to check more of their stuff out!
Oh! and an unrelated sidenote, but Giuk (bassist in ONEWE) released his second solo album if you'd be interested in checking it out (I know you enjoy ONEWE but forget if you're also interested in solo releases)! The title track is Scratch, and the English name for the album is Rise Waves, I like it so much!

Mamamoo just hit different. They are not the typical Kpop. If I have to describe it, Black Pink and other girl crush Kpop groups are like the popular girl at a party being like - “I’m hot, I’m cool, you boys are all faling for me but I’m not gonna come home with you guys so keep dreaming.”
While Mamamoo is give off the vibe like a sexy rich successful woman at a VIP bar being like “Hey Baby Girl/Boy! You looks cute. Wanna come to my penthouse? My sport car is parking outside, let me give you cutie a ride.”

Mamamoo is up with the best of the best for vocals and performance, yes they are sexy because they are women. They started older typical idols,. Solar( the leader and power belter on the pole) and Moonbyul(rapper) were 27 years old in this video, Hwasa and Wheein would have been about 23. There is definitely a difference between the typical 19 year old new idol wearing minimal clothes and dancing raunchy or being seduced by women. They have 100s of songs over 400 videos to watch with live, albums, covers, collabs and OSTs.

This MV is NEXT LEVEL cinematic sensuality. It's really in a category all it's own. I doubt you'll find anything THIS impressive anywhere else. However, Egotistic MV will destroy you. It will take you apart piece by piece.
