When i 1st began i didnt understand why he said that but let me tell you 4c really is the best grade of hair for locs. Im 2 1/2 years in and i used to think length was the most noticable and most important thing - It isnt. The most compliments i recieve are about how thick and dark my hair is. I hear the words "your hair is so healthy" quite often. Keep with it JJ. You might feel like you look a hot mess right now but once you clear that ugly stage itll all be worth it.

before i started my dreadlocks last november i had hair that ranged day to day from 2C-3B. also in different spots it’d be curlier than others. 2 years ago i had about 12 inches of hair and the sides and back were like 3C and the top was 2B. not too sure why that happened but i wore a hat a lot and pushed my hair back so maybe it was that.

I believe I have 3b hair type I also had dreads for nearly 3 years then i combed them out. I did interlocking for a year then I started to crochet. but my hair didn't have the braided look it was pretty smooth actually. proberly depend's on who does them.

Still don't make wireless headphones with the tonal response of wired. Wireless will likely suck for 10 more years. Plus earbuds cannot sound as good as over ear. Listening to music on ear buds is like having a racecar but never leaving your garage with it. I use Sennheiser hd800s if you want to hear what your music is supposed to sound like. If its too rich for you you can still do way better then buddy by finding a good open backed over the ear with a 1/4 jack. Also stop using compressed music will do a lot for you.
