this is literally one of my dream builds: a safari 86 (or any sports car), i even saved bros car pics in my phone lmao. it's good to hear he keeps it mostly stock (apart from the steel plates), feels much more achievable for my bank account.

power upgrades isnt everything
It's relaively lightweight and since it has dirt biased tires, even less grip than what came from the factory. No power add ons needed really, especially in the middle of the desert.
The only thing it really needs is a manual conversion. You get increased reliability and makes it funner to drive.
