Please help. This bricked my M2 MBP (Sonoma). I used the terminal code and now when I go to the login screen I just get a spinning wheel forever. Is there a way to revert this please?!

@gastonbailo7854 go back into recovery mode, enter back into terminal and type forgotpassword it should pop up with the option to restore a disk. Select the one with your profile and it should ask you to enter a new password. That should work.

Worked like a charm. The only tip is to keep the HardDrive name as Macintosh HD. If you change the name, the patches doesn't work. Thanks a lot

This never worked on my macbook m2 machine.. Also now stuck at the remote management Enrol Screen which is full screen and can do anything further
Before bypassing, you need to factory reset or erase all old data and install a new version of macOS. Then the bypass will be successful.

Didn't work on a fresh Sonoma install for me.. getting "Failed" lines in the script after creating username and password. Macbook Pro 13 M1. Edit: Fresh offline usb installer of Sonoma worked fine.

You have to do a clean format first either over network or usb before applying this method.

1. Followed your instruction and i didn't put any password after creating the user i hit enter for the password.
2. After restarting i typed 4 spaces and the user opened, followed all the instruction but i didn't signed in with apple and i created a new user with a new password
3. its M1 2020 13 inch with Sonorma 14.4.1
