I am able to use the mac now but it appears that I’m not able to use nor fix Photos as i want to connect it to my icloud. Any suggestions? Btw creating a new folder for photos wont work for icloud or should i wait for a couple of days for the sync to be done? Thanks

For the people who's macbook is not fresh and already has an account and data on it, don't worry, this method won't damage them.
Just pay attention that you may have 4 options in terminal after inserting the copied data, and reboot is on 3rd position.
Can you help me with this I have MDM locked mac and I dont care about the data just need a fresh MAC

Updated to Sonoma from Ventura and had no issues. The MDM didn’t pop up after the update. Works like a charm! Also didn’t lose any of my data.

U can and use this method. Only thing is it has to be reset in brand new factory settings before doing it. It works though. I just did it last night I purchased on OfferUp a dude scammed me

Is it possible to disable the mdm after setting up the mac. I recently updated my mac and MDM popped up again and I am trying to disable it. I ran your tool and it asked for username and password but I think it tries to create a new user not modify the existing one.
