Seger is the Man. Story telling songs with alot of heart and soul. Hey Dani go on the Bob Seger journey.......He feels every word he sings and you will too.
Bob is an American icon. Tremendous songwriter and the music is always filled in there's no gaps it's simple but yet complex in the arrangements and just one of my favorite songwriters of all time. Is catalog is huge Danny you need to go exploring
Bob Seeger has always been one of my favorite artists. You can listen to any of his songs and be amazed and delighted with each and every one. He's one of a kind. Cheers, Steve
Rodney Crowell (a great singer in his own right) wrote this song, then rewrote it for a redux that was damned good as well. I hope you check it out sometime. :)
Good girl, you liked your first Bob Segar song. Your just getting started. This man is amazing. He writes his own music, plays piano and guitar. And most of his band members have been with him for years and years.
Dani your interpretation and analysis of a song is so good. Bob Seger is in my opinion one of the greatest singer, songwriter and performer of all time. He's sold over 70 million records. Enjoy your road trip I know it's going to be amazing.
Most people seem to miss what the song is truly about. These are the emotions a man goes through when his heart is broken. I've been a Bob Seger fan for over 50 years and have been to 6 concerts.
Bob Seger is one of my all time favorites, an exceptionally talented songwriter, vocalist, one of the best lyricists of my time, IMO, and pretty good on keys too. His catalog is incredibly deep and varied, and the Silver Bullet Band is about as good as it gets.. In the '80s it seemed there was always a Bob Seger song on the radio, including this one. He's worth a long look.
Interesting fact about this song is that it was actually written by Rodney Crowell (his version is good too, in my opinion, but commercially, Crowell's own version flopped, it was Bob Seger who made the song into a hit, but I think both versions are good). The musicians playing on the song are Bill Payne on piano, Drew Abbott and Waddy Wachtel on guitar, Chris Campbell on bass, Russ Kunkel on drums, Craig Frost on organ and Bobbye Hall on percussion. The background vocals are sung by Glenn Frey, Shaun Murphy, Laura Creamer and Joan Sliwin. I highly reccomend other songs by Bob Seger - "Night Moves", "Against The Wind" and "Like A Rock", just to name a few. I agree with your interpretation of the song's lyrical content.
A breath of fresh air from Bob in "82. Classic rock was gone. Rock ballads were fading quickly and electronic music was taking over. Synthesizers could imitate just about every instrument needed. God Bless BOB!
Bob is my all time favorite, we knew every song on many of his albums and could sing the words to them all. I’d suggest Famous Final Scene, Brave Strangers, Turn the Page, Mainstreet and Night Moves to start, many more after that!
Bob is a superb story teller/song writer - about his life experiences. His vocals are second to none. Try "Night Moves" - "Hollywood Nights" - "Mainstreet" - "Against the Wind" - "Turn The Page" "Fire Lake" etc. He is an Icon!
Dani, Bob Seger is one of my favorite singers, just behind of Elvis Presley. If you enjoy Elvis as much as I do, you'll be in love with Bob as well. Please react to another amazing Bob's song Against the wind!
Cut at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Sheffield,Alabama backer by the Swampers.Look up the Muscle Shoals Music documentary and the history of all the amazing artists who recorded here.
I'm 50 yrs. old and I know that I'm much older than you ,but my mom played him all the time when I was a very little boy! I was listening to him before I knew what cartoons were, no lie! In my book , he's one of the best artist ever!
bob seger is one of americas best singer -songwriter . being a songwriter myself i have always loved the honesty and raw emotion of his songs . they bring you to tears , and they can kick serious ass . listend to a song called [ i think i got this right ] take a chance on me ...[ from album the fire down below ] review that one . enjoy your trip [ we said that allot in the 60s ,,,lol ] and keep singing , precious one . james
Never heard Bob Seger? Well young lady you have a wonderful trip to take down the Bob Seger rabbit hole if you chose to take the trip. If you love this then you need to listen to the entire albums, Night Moves, Stranger in Town, Against the Wind in that order. Every song on those albums are outstanding. Then listen to Live Bullet. Those are just a few of the many works of art he has created. Happy journeys you will not be disappointed!
Dani, While he didn't write this song (and always refers to Rodney Crowel).and you want to hear the best lyricist, look him up. He's amazing. You won't be disappointed.
You should try reacting to, "Steve Holy - Just A Kiss (+ lyrics 2000)" If you are an Elvis fan or a Roy Orbison, Ricky Nelson fan, you will definitely like that one!
Bob Seeger is one of great singer songwriter of our time. I enjoy him for many of the same reasons you do. 3 classics I hope you will check out are “ The Rock “, Against The Wind” , and “Old Time Rock and Roll. I hope you check these out out because I’m sure you will enjoy them , and I love the way you react , and also provide good background and technical points about the songs. Keep up the good work!!!! Looking forward to your next video. 😎👍👍👍
Qaulity music..... draws one in quick with his ability to story tell. Distinct warm vocals that actually compliment that melodic piano and visa versa. Great reaction!
Segar will get you into the Eagles, Jackson Browne, and other artists that moved to LA in the late 60s and made it big in the business. Wait till you do Night Movoes, etc. Segar, the Eagles, Jackson Browne all wrote their own songs and music. Incredible artists. All of them. I know you've probably heard Eagles songs in your life, but wait till you hear their catalog. Not really a bad song. Even their solo careers like Henley and Frey.
I love Seger too, and you definitely will want to delve into his catalogue. A similar voice is Don Henley from The Eagles, who had a very successful solo career in the eighties. I would suggest you listen to Sunset Grill by Henley, if you do not a,ready know it.
G’day Miss Dani, I hope you’re having a great day mate. Yes, it’s Graceland Week. Yahoo! WOW Dani, love your glasses too. They really suit ya. You kind of remind me of the thinking man’s sex symbol.( Ha,Ha) Bob Seger had a few great hits through the years. Shakedown the music from the Beverly Hills Cop Movies with Eddie Murphy was one of them I think. Bob also sang the the hit song from Tom Cruise’s Risky Business film from the 80s, Old Time Rock And Roll. Dig all that for sure. Stay safe mate.👍🇦🇺😁🤪
Something it seems no-one has reacted to, and it's strange because I think it's one of his best songs, is the song 'It's You' by Bob Seger. It's a beautiful love song and the fan made video is very touching.
Great reaction !!! I have a proposal for myself - will you make a film about a talented young singer Viki Gabor? She has an amazing voice !!! She can sing a lot of riffs and run and also whistle like her idol Ariana Grande :) I would be very interested in your movie about her. Viki has great potential to become a star all over the world. She is only 13 years old. In 2019, she won the Children's Eurovision Song Contest. Viki Gabor - Somewhere Over The Rainbow | "Nie Ma Jak u Mamy" You will find the link above after sorting.Regards :)
Seger is a great musician but he didn't write this song. Rodney Crowell is the composer who puts others on the map. Seger did the BEST version of this tune.
Trust me.... as someone who has been a Seger fan for 50 years, as much as you loved this one you are going to want to do a deep dive in his music!
Yes. Can't go wrong with this guy
I couldn't agree more, Im 54 and I literally grew up down on mainstream
Seger is the Man. Story telling songs with alot of heart and soul. Hey Dani go on the Bob Seger journey.......He feels every word he sings and you will too.
Bob Seeger: night moves,Main Street,against the wind,like a rock,old time rock n roll
Bro against the wind makes me always cry tears of joy- greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Roll me away
Another 1 ! It's Seger not Seeger!
Bob is an American icon. Tremendous songwriter and the music is always filled in there's no gaps it's simple but yet complex in the arrangements and just one of my favorite songwriters of all time. Is catalog is huge Danny you need to go exploring
"The Famous Final Scene" Who's with me? Bob is such a tremendous songwriter and what a voice!
Yes that's one of my favorites too.
Except Bob didn't write this song. It was written by the great Rodney Crowell. :)
@@patrickheffernan7798 Right, "Shame On The Moon" is one of the few songs Bob has done that he didn't write or co-write.
Bob Seeger has always been one of my favorite artists. You can listen to any of his songs and be amazed and delighted with each and every one. He's one of a kind. Cheers, Steve
It s SEGER!
“You’ll Accomp’ny Me”, "Night Moves" and “Roll Me Away” are songs I think you would enjoy, all are great songs and were big hits.
Rodney Crowell (a great singer in his own right) wrote this song, then rewrote it for a redux that was damned good as well. I hope you check it out sometime. :)
I’m old enough to remember when KISS opened for Bob Seger, Little Rock 1973
Good girl, you liked your first Bob Segar song. Your just getting started. This man is amazing. He writes his own music, plays piano and guitar. And most of his band members have been with him for years and years.
Glen Frey from the eagles sang backing vocals on this gem.he was actually Bob's best friend in the music biz.
Dani your interpretation and analysis of a song is so good. Bob Seger is in my opinion one of the greatest singer, songwriter and performer of all time. He's sold over 70 million records. Enjoy your road trip I know it's going to be amazing.
Bob rocks
Most people seem to miss what the song is truly about. These are the emotions a man goes through when his heart is broken. I've been a Bob Seger fan for over 50 years and have been to 6 concerts.
You'll love Bob Seger; great vocals, great lyrics.

Turn The Page is a great song about a singers life on the road. Fire Lake and Against The Wind is another great song with beautiful piano in it!
👍❤️
Fire Lake has the Eagles singing backup
Interesting fact about this song is that it was actually written by Rodney Crowell (his version is good too, in my opinion, but commercially, Crowell's own version flopped, it was Bob Seger who made the song into a hit, but I think both versions are good). Seger made ballads after that ,and the Silver bullet band didn't have to Synthesize anything!
You young generation missed all the greatest music ever.
"You'll Accompany Me" is another great song by Bob Seger.
Great song.
Memory gets fuzzy but I went to one of his concerts in the very early 80s. Bob Seger and the silver bullet bank. Dude was so freakin good.
Sunspot baby. Is another awesome song by Bob Seger. I believe you’ll enjoy it a great deal
Oh thank you! I'll check it out!
I am 77 years and have loved his songs from the beginning. And the Silver Bullet band is one of the best.
I don’t think he ever put a bad song out❤️❤️❤️there will never be another like him!!! To go back to that time we had some good music!!
Bob is my all time favorite, we knew every song on many of his albums and could sing the words to them all. I’d suggest Famous Final Scene, Brave Strangers, Turn the Page, Mainstreet and Night Moves to start, many more after that!
So glad you enjoyed this 👍A beautiful song by Seger, and the truth of it has always brought a tear to my eye.
Turn the page is one of the best live performances you’ll ever hear.
Thank you, will do!
The whole album "Live Bullet" is a band at their absolute peak!
Truth! "Turn the Page" is one of the best performances ever!
Bob is a superb story teller/song writer - about his life experiences. His vocals are second to none. Try "Night Moves" - "Hollywood Nights" - "Mainstreet" - "Against the Wind" - "Turn The Page" "Fire Lake" etc. He is an Icon!
Most anyone can appreciate Seger's music. If you've spent a lot of time on the road, or grew up in "real America", you get it at a far deeper level.
Dani, Bob Seger is one of my favorite singers, just behind of Elvis Presley. If you enjoy Elvis as much as I do, you'll be in love with Bob as well. Please react to another amazing Bob's song Against the wind!
Rodney Crawl wrote this. Killer song of my childhood

Great song. This song was written by Rodney Crowell. Bob does a great job. Worth checking out Rodney Crowell’s version also.
I learned this on guitar and often so covers of these it helped me get passed a suicide attempt. Music can heal the soul
You should try reacting to, "Steve Holy - Just A Kiss (+ lyrics 2000)"

Hello Dani, like a Rock by Bob Seger is iconic. You would like that one also as well as his whole catalog, quite frankly...

This woman knows music
Dani, you're gonna love this album....
This is the sound of a cowboy song via Woodward Avenue.
Segar will get you into the Eagles, Jackson Browne, and other artists that moved to LA in the late 60s and made it big in the business. Review Ramblin Gamblin Man. I bet ya can’t sit still. Lol
Seger is a great musician but he didn't write this song. Rodney Crowell is the composer who puts others on the map. Seger did the BEST version of this tune.
You're adorable, but Bob Seger DIDN'T write this song. This song was written by RODNEY CROWELL
Bob Seger is a great song writer but he did not write this song
You are one rhythmless gal…..LOL But I will say it matches your singing….🙄🤣
Why do you and so many others pause the songs. It just gives off a bad taste in your mouth.
