Yeah i don't think a WRX with a STI wing is a big deal. But as an EVO owner, it pisses me off when a lancer has an EVO wing.. Like there is absolutely nothing sporty about the lancer... At least the WRX is still a bad ass car

A true car enthusiast loves all trims of any car and also knows the history behind them without being conceded about their top of the line trim model. You got the money, get it. Not everyone has that option or the same opportunities. Dope WRX bro looks amazing. My GTO is still under a 3rd party warranty and I have been only doing cosmetic upgrades rather than performance until my warranty is up then I’ll buy performance so I already have the look I want when I get the performance because that’s the smartest thing to do for me with the annual gross I have.

What people don't understand is that the wrx is a better daily driver than the wrx sti. As most performance cars the sti sacrifices practicality and to be honest isn't that much faster. The premium wrx offers more bang for your buck at the end of the day
My STI is my daily drive. It’s practicality is head over heels than driving my old LX Lancer. Perspective. Wrx are just as nice too, I’m getting old a bit and like the mod cons in my V1 ‘17 STI
I second this... everyone has different taste. I personally love the quad exhaust on the WRX, but if you like the single exit then by all means go for it!

So many people hate Honda's but I don't get it. When they have been in the racing scene just as long as other cars. And if you are on RUclips 20hrs a day like me you see alot of Honda's people love enough to soup. Smashing lambos and Audi's and you name it.

Just watched the video a second time and I am subbing for three reasons: 1) I agree with everything you did to the car. The pipes are the only thing I'm unsure of but as I have not heard the car I can't say I am for or against it. 2) Love Subaru's and Chevy's. 3) Initial D logo. Nuff said.
I totally agree with you on the wing, it just looks so good with the body style whether it be on a WRX or on a WRX STI. I don't like how some people seem to instantly think that if you have a STI wing on a WRX you're trying to pose as a STI owner.

They look like 2014 Toyota Camry's lol. 2015+ model wrx's look plain and sedan-ish. 02-03 Bugeye and 06-07 Hawkeye are the best looking ones in my opinion.

I happen to like your overall look, it's pretty badass, and the color is dope. My one and only gripe about it isn't the fact that it's a single exit exhaust, those are totally fine and have their unique attributes, but if it's a single exit it has to look that way reflected in the diffuser or the bumper kit. I don't like seeing that empty port on the passenger side where another exhaust could have been. If it's a single exhaust, have that reflected in the design of the kit and it cleans up the rear end to focus that look a lot better than just having the empty hole on the passenger side. But seriously, awesome spec overall!

I have a 15 sti, with the wing, personally for me the wing makes the car, when you see that wing, I think “that’s an sti.” Won’t catch me talkin smack about it though, beautiful car brotha I wouldn’t have it any other way, it’s clean, and tasteful. And I feel you on the warranty, I rode my out to the full 100k.
I had a 16 STi and got rid of it and just got a 20' WRX. After driving both, yes the STi is very nice, but the WRX feels better driving around and it was $8K less. Neither had the "STi wing" on it, both came with the small lip spoiler. No matter what you do someone, somewhere, is going to have something negative to say about it and that is just because some people have nothing better to do in life than act like an idiot. Beautiful car man. I see this is two years old, would love to see where it's at today.
I’ve had a wrx sti and honestly your car still looks badass, and true subaru wrx fans are super friendly and usually only the people who have never or dont have a wrx are the ones who are judgy af... trust me subaru owners are prob one of the most friendly car communities out there
I'm a Subaru owner and I own almost every car that Subaru has made.. I own a few STI's & WRX's and it doesn't matter what people say about any Subaru it's what we worked for. If they don't like our Subaru that's their problem. It doesn't matter what you do to your Subaru it's yours.

Bro, I’m an employee for Maita Subaru. As a guy that sees all sorts of modded Subarus and various “ricers” on the road I gotta say, you do you. A car enthusiast will appreciate the time and effort a person puts into their ride, even if it isn’t to their own liking. Why is that? Because the owner is making the car how they want it. Do you like how your car is set up? Yea? Then ignore the haters. People hate on underglow yet I still keep my underglow on the steady colour of my choosing, despite what others think. Simply because it’s what I enjoy.
Your designs thoughts put into this car reminded me of my dads evo, he put so much effort into it and also both of the outcomes of your design and my dads design are custom mainly with some after market parts he even added splitters on his wing like you did right there. I’m glad this gives me a good memory when I was in that 550 hp beast

All the other points you made are peoples following the crowd and are jealous to be honest. The one thing though is I do not like the F20A motors the new WRX have. The ej20 are great motors they had in the WRXs before they started the ej255 in 06-14 in the wrx, which I have and are great. But nice video!

I keep my evo sleeper status and took the wing off but I get how fun it is to transfer the car with visual mods just to keep it fresh. Your wrx looks very clean even though nothing about it is my style. Keep it up.
Brendan Fogel the STI has a much better transmission and higher ceiling for power, better brakes, and better suspension. But for 10k just for me wasn’t worth it
You are hanging around the wrong (Subaru) people. Don't bunch all STi owners into the same group. I drive an STi and my buddy has a WRX with the STi wing. We have been to plenty of meets and not heard any of what you are talking about within the Subaru community. You have a cool car, any car enthusiast should be able to respect that even if they don't like it. Keep modding and enjoy the car.
Black 2015 WRX Premium here. I added the mods I wanted onto it for now and may upgrade more in the future as well. Point is I did the mods I wanted to do and so far have been happy. Personally, I am not a fan of the wing and wanted to keep the stock look as much as possible but I respect doing what you want to do. Wanted to keep it stealthy. Bottom line is everyone should do what makes them happy. It is your own preference, style, and do what you want not what others want YOU to do. There will always be trolls. Don't bother feeding the trolls. Let them troll and give no response.
I have a 2018 wrx and I chose mine cuz the 2.5 motor has been in wrx still since 04... So I chose the wrx for the FA20 motor and the FA20 motor can handle a lot more!!! Keep up the great vids bro!!!

You be amazed how many ppl prefer the wrx over the sti. I’ve been told plenty of times that sti’s are not reliable like wrx’s are . The dealerships here in okc said there’s been more returns on Sti’s vs the wrx .ppl also would prefer a brz these days.ppl don’t keep the original Motors in all subies no more Anyways so I say respect for keeping it original and styling of how you want it done

I think the reason most people return the STi is because 1 it’s stick and people who suck at stick could be tired of it. Or they expect it to be pushing 300whp out the box and that’s not happening without a good amount of upgrades.
Reason # 2 you hit it right on the spot paying off the car and keeping the warranty is the safest way to go. Most STI owners rush into adding more performance part to the car then voiding the warranty, then later on down the line they have mechanical issues and well that warranty’s no longer going to save you. Best advice start cosmetics but do them right don’t be one to purchase things of wish not to bash on it but take your time it’s your car your money you work hard for it, who care what people think they are not paying for your parts SO YOU DO YOU!!. some of us can pay cash for a brand new sti some of us can’t. Be smart stay safe keep doing you!
1) I just wanted a car to teach my son to drive a manual, so I went with a WRX. I may buy an STI later 2) I'm not a fan of the STI wing and perfer a more low key look...I would pull it off an STI. 3) Meh, if I'm not making teh payments, I could careless what someone does to their rides. I will say I like seeing different things people do to them. 4) I thought about the warranty...for about 10 minutes, long enough to order my Stage 2 stuff and setup an appointment to have it installed lol 5) I prefer dual exhaust and or dual tips but single doesn't bother me either.
That is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. I'll be honest, if you had told me that a WRX would look good in "metallic purple" or whatever that is called, I would have been dubious. But you definitely pulled it off. Props.
I have an ‘18 sti. I dig all enthusiast cars. Old and new. If I see a car on the road that’s taken care of and the owners put parts on it to make it his, i throw a 🤙 or✌️ as we pass. Even if I don’t like the style of his wheels or kit or exhaust or whatever. It’s called the CAR COMMUNITY. That means we need to cut the hate and just enjoy the diversity in the scene. I'm a Subaru owner and I own almost every car that Subaru has made.. I own a few STI's & WRX's and it doesn't matter what people say about any Subaru it's what we worked for. If they don't like our Subaru that's their problem. It doesn't matter what you do to your Subaru it's yours.

@@ChristianHudnell ya im running 550whp on a stock block and honestly with 10k miles on the stock engine its just fine. I dont do burnouts and drag race it. Only rolling starts and it holds up fine.

I dont hate your car by any means because its absolutely gorgeous but the fact that your front bumper emblem doesn't match the rear emblem (subaru star emblem) drives me crazy lol.

Bro, I’m an employee for Maita Subaru. As a guy that sees all sorts of modded Subarus and various “ricers” on the road I gotta say, you do you. A car enthusiast will appreciate the time and effort a person puts into their ride, even if it isn’t to their own liking. Why is that? Because the owner is making the car how they want it. Do you like how your car is set up? Yea? Then ignore the haters. People hate on underglow yet I still keep my underglow on the steady colour of my choosing, despite what others think. Simply because it’s what I enjoy.
Your designs thoughts put into this car reminded me of my dads evo, he put so much effort into it and also both of the outcomes of your design and my dads design are custom mainly with some after market parts he even added splitters on his wing like you did right there. I’m glad this gives me a good memory when I was in that 550 hp beast

Man as another WRX owner of 2 other them 07 and 11 I can tell you your car is amazing. I hate the wing BS. It's just a wing. All the other points you made are peoples following the crowd and are jealous to be honest. The one thing though is I do not like the F20A motors the new WRX have. The ej20 are great motors they had in the WRXs before they started the ej255 in 06-14 in the wrx, which I have and are great. But nice video!

it's not riced within the import community but would probably be considered rice to the average non-car person. I keep my evo sleeper status and took the wing off but I get how fun it is to transfer the car with visual mods just to keep it fresh. Your wrx looks very clean even though nothing about it is my style. Keep it up.

Brendan Fogel the STI has a much better transmission and higher ceiling for power, better brakes, and better suspension. But for 10k just for me wasn’t worth it

We have been to plenty of meets and not heard any of what you are talking about within the Subaru community. Black 2015 WRX Premium here. I added the mods I wanted onto it for now and may upgrade more in the future as well. Point is I did the mods I wanted to do and so far have been happy. Personally, I am not a fan of the wing and wanted to keep the stock look as much as possible but I respect doing what you want to do. Wanted to keep it stealthy.
Bottom line is everyone should do what makes them happy. It is your own preference, style, and do what you want not what others want YOU to do. There will always be trolls. Don't bother feeding the trolls. Let them troll and give no response.
I have a 2018 wrx and I chose mine cuz the 2.5 motor has been in wrx still since 04... So I chose the wrx for the FA20 motor and the FA20 motor can handle a lot more!!! Keep up the great vids bro!!!

You be amazed how many ppl prefer the wrx over the sti. I’ve been told plenty of times that sti’s are not reliable like wrx’s are . The dealerships here in okc said there’s been more returns on Sti’s vs the wrx .ppl also would prefer a brz these days.ppl don’t keep the original Motors in all subies no more Anyways so I say respect for keeping it original and styling of how you want it done

I think the reason most people return the STi is because 1 it’s stick and people who suck at stick could be tired of it. Or they expect it to be pushing 300whp out the box and that’s not happening without a good amount of upgrades.

Reason # 2 you hit it right on the spot paying off the car and keeping the warranty is the safest way to go. Most STI owners rush into adding more performance part to the car then voiding the warranty, then later on down the line they have mechanical issues and well that warranty’s no longer going to save you. Best advice start cosmetics but do them right don’t be one to purchase things of wish not to bash on it but take your time it’s your car your money you work hard for it, who care what people think they are not paying for your parts SO YOU DO YOU!!. some of us can pay cash for a brand new sti some of us can’t. Be smart stay safe keep doing you!

1) I just wanted a car to teach my son to drive a manual, so I went with a WRX. I may buy an STI later
2) I'm not a fan of the STI wing and perfer a more low key look...I would pull it off an STI.
3) Meh, if I'm not making teh payments, I could careless what someone does to their rides. I will say I like seeing different things people do to them.
4) I thought about the warranty...for about 10 minutes, long enough to order my Stage 2 stuff and setup an appointment to have it installed lol
5) I prefer dual exhaust and or dual tips but single doesn't bother me either.

I have an ‘18 sti. I dig all enthusiast cars. Old and new. If I see a car on the road that’s taken care of and the owners put parts on it to make it his, i throw a 🤙 or✌️ as we pass. Even if I don’t like the style of his wheels or kit or exhaust or whatever. It’s called the CAR COMMUNITY. That means we need to cut the hate and just enjoy the diversity in the scene. If everyone’s cars look the same, it’s be boring AF. I dig that wrap! Just keep doin you.
