I watch so many videos like this. I try to grab a tip here grab a tip there. I watch so many famous cooks and chefs People with names known around the world. This is THE BEST of all! Marjorie you are fantastic, encouraging, You keep it simple and happy. I honestly broke out in a huge laugh at the end of the vid when you said "Don't leave your tips on the windowsill, because they disappear." And you said you wouldn't say why and laughed about it. My own tips have gone missing from the windowsill innumerable times! You have a great "common sense" approach. Thank you! I am your fan and subscribed!
I'm not so sure that would work sadly. Dough is dense and icing is very light and slides out easily. You can try though. :) If you were to try, at Micheals they have a veeerrrryyy large tip, but I'm pretty sure that it only comes for cake icing. I also think that you should use bigger tips like the 1m swirl.
Hi... I was watching so many of your videos. Awesome, easy to understand. I was curious if you could offer advice as I'm a newbie. I was curious, let's say if one wanted to use these tips and pastry bags to make cool shaped breadsticks? thin ones, that look almost braided like the ones you made, do you think it would work? If the dough had a wet cookie like texture? Also if not, is there certain types of tips (which size?) that would help get more dough out of the bag? Im new. smile.
I was doing a class on cake decorating but hard to stop so I will like to continue at home so will be looking forward to seeing more like these as I didn't finish learning the basics so this is good have to learn to make the flowers i live in the Caribbean so they more ues Royal icing

Marjorie, You're a doll. I laughed out loud when you said, "don't put them on the windowsill" because that's something I might actually do.

Beautiful work but
You are beautiful too
Good video but having this in 720p would make it easier to see the details.
awesome
what kind of icing did you use
what is the no of the tips?
May i ask you where can I buy the little brush to wash the tips?
In the US, I know Michael's sells them. It really is a handy tool to have.
Annie Esparza And for other options in terms of stores A.C. Moore sells them as well
