Thank you, started to put raspberry filling first and then found your short. Took it off mostly lol. And then followed your video thanks this cake would have been not as good with out your short. To answer your question on how to fill a cake it would be the ratio of filling to icing which I think is hard to communicate but my guess is not to go to thin as any cake I have been disappointed in lacks enough tart filling to counter the icing and cake. Also temperature to start filling and icing not sure how cool you do it at.

How do you get such white icing?
Make sure you cream the butter long enough. You can also add a touch of purple food coloring to cancel out the yellow tones of the butter.
Can this work on a fondant cake

How do you prevent bulging? I do pipe a border. Any hints?
Hmm… I’d try to avoid air pockets that’s probably what’s causing bulging. Really press down and seal your crumb coat well
