    Mr. Rick, thank you for your highly effective slow paced teaching style. It has helped my understanding of coin manipulation and slowly has improved my self confidence to perform in front of others. I know that practice will lift self esteem and shyness. I like the credit that you always give the master’s of the Art of the Craft of Magic. Thank you. 🙏

    This is your second video I’ve watched. Your execution is flawless and you do an excellent job of breaking down this trick step by step. You’re an asset to aspiring magicians and I’m happy You Tube recommended your video.

    I love the Himber vanish. It felt knacky for me for a while, but once I got the timing and position down it has become one of my favorites. So fair looking. Thanks for the extra instruction and ideas!

      I’ve always liked the sleight, but felt it was kind of knacky also. But looks great when done properly.

    Rick, years ago you helped me learn the Himber vanish with your 2010 video, The Famous Three Coin Trick. That video was actually how I first discovered your channel because I was searching for variations of Doug Brewer's trick on RUclips. Even after doing the move for years now, this tutorial has additional points of finesse that I'm excited to learn. Thanks for sharing this!

    I got gifted "Innocent" by Tae Sang today, and he teaches the Himber move. Kicking myself for not seeing its potential. Of course my favourite coin magic instructor has me covered. Thanks Rick!

    Awesome video Rick! Again, your camera set up and close up tutorials are freaking amazing. I love love love the Himber vanish. I started with half dollars, which helped me greatly when I moved to dollar sized coins. I can even reliably Himber vanish a quarter now(after much practice). I have found the vanish most effective after one to three priming drops, and then eyes widen.

    Hello, Rick. This is the first of your videos I’ve had the pleasure of watching. This is truly excellent, both your explanation and demonstration. I’ve been practicing this move off and on for years but didn’t feel I was making much progress. I was excited to hear your insights and tips, and while following along with coin in hand, I gained a better understanding and could see improvement. Thank you!

    Great stuff, as usual. Is the Himber Vanish also practical with a half-dollar, or is the size too small to catch and balance on the little finger?
    Love the music as always; a laconic 808 and laid-back accordion - perfect.

    • @RickHolcombe
      @RickHolcombe  2 года назад +1

      It's maybe a little easier to start with a dollar coin since there is a larger surface to work with, but it is absolutely achievable with a half dollar.

    • @RickHolcombe
      @RickHolcombe  5 месяцев назад

      You can use any coin to practice. A half dollar is a little over 30mm and a dollar coin is about 38mm. So, any similarly sized coin will work.
