4:16 "Slow" is relative though. If you go by lore figures, even the Executor-class can pull 1,230g. More than 7 miles per second squared. To put that in perspective... the US developed an ICBM interceptor in the cold war that accelerated at around 100g. It could go from 0 to mach 10 in less than 10 seconds. Each of its rocket stages burned for about 2 - 3 seconds and then seperated. Within 5 - 6 seconds of launch the nose cone started to glow white hot as a result of doing high mach deep in the atmosphere. The videos of it on the internet (look up "Nike Sprint") are typically slowed down so that you can actually see what's happening. Well... the Empire's giant SSD can accelerate about 12 times harder than that. If you go by the lore.

#AskEck What are the best ships from a _bang for buck_ perspective from say the Clone Wars and the a Empire era (and perhaps pre Clone Wars?). If a faction had a set budget (large enough to afford some good toys, but not unlimited) what's the best value they could get, considering firepower, versatility and the logistics [hangar queens that need a lot of maintenance, as well as ships that are crew intensive for their size, since that adds to running cost, get penalized - but pure droid ships can still lose points for not being as effective]. For example the Tie Defender is 4 times the cost of the Tie LN, but is definately more than 4 times as effective, as well as saving on the crew cost of replacing dead pilots. But the Cloakshape fighter is so cheap can be bought in massive numbers for a planetary defence and just spam proton torpedos at the start of a battle. Then there's the missile boat. Or the versatile, reliable and still reasonable value X-Wing. So a rich sector military with large capital ships. And a standard planet that needs a planetary defence force. [IMHO A bunch of Correlian light freighters modified into gunships would make a easy to purchase and run combat fleet]

You blow my mind and make my day , thank you good sir
I love republic fleet from that mod for star wars strategy game.
I love the outro to much lol
#AskEck In Star Wars Rebels the B-wing prototype we got introduced to easily destroyed an
Arquitens. I know the reason why they didn't continue putting that weapon on the B-wing but couldn't they not install it onto another ship class where it could be more effective?
Interesting, I thought the Bellator was the official mandator 3!
The way the Mandator is depicted in this video reminds me of a VERY stripped-down Bellator-Class Star Destroyer without the Imperial embellishments.
Tecnically you're not wrong, considering the Bellator is a slightly different version of the Mandator 3
well i'm mildly reminded of the washington naval treaty compliant warships, designed to take more weapons but stripped down slightly to keep it legal
I was hoping it would be a dreadnaught sized, chromed out Acclamator-class called The Immaculator" lol 😅
Why not the calculotor
Lmao
3 more days until Bad Batch les go!
Some people see Dreadnoughts as a waste cause they can cover more with the amount of ships that could be made for the price of one of them. But those ships can demoralize easily since while it can't be everywhere if you are at the one place it is, you are pretty much dead.
#askeck How did the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances work differently from the New Republic?
#shipversus Resurgent-class Star Destroyer vs MC85 Star Cruiser
#shipversus Resurgent-class Star Destroyer vs Starhawk-class Battleship
#battlebreakdown Battle of Astarte
#battlebreakdown Battle of Amritsar
Hey has anyone ever done a comprehensive lore video of the Bumani Exchange Corp, and how they rose to power, their relationship with the Black Suns, or anything like that?
Great subject
What is the weird tie fighter on the bottom at 2m 06s?
I just started playing Fall of the Republic last night and I have a question. Do you voice the Pelta-class frigates?
#AskEck How do ships with different hyperdrive ratings jump at the same time and emerge at the same time and place as each other? See Millennium Falcon and the rest of the Rebel Fleet at Endor. Can hyperdrives be throttled to slower speeds?
Didn't delta squad have a cameo in the later seasons of the clone wars? I thought they were the squad that escorted fives back to kamino.
Nah, they had a cameo in season 3, they recovered the bodies of some jedi savage oppress killed. The episode is ‘witches of the mist’. All four are seen, but only boss has lines.
The AskEck question had me a bit confused and it took me a minute to realize why: the game isn't called 'Clone Commando' but 'Republic Commando' :D
#askEck do you have an idea of how you would run/arm a YT1300 freighter, as it is a modular ship and it would be cool to hear how you with have it set up
limiting size and armerment of large capital ships always works to bring about peace, just look at how successful the treaty of Kyoto was in keeping Peace after World War One
Ah finally a republic flagship
I remember in the animated shirt series anakin and obi Wan were in this large ass ship with large windows..
Could it have been this ship?
6:47 SW:CW being Rereleased? 4 real? No joke right THAT would b cool
You should make a perfect fleet composition restricted to a specific factions ship types.
Imagine if in FOTR, a Mandator II going up against a thousand Recuscants 🤣🤣🤣
I feel like... I feel like you're a thread that ties me to the important aspects of starwars. Helps solidify Canon. Helps me forget other... things.
Mainly the prequel.
#ask eck how does the x wing with its guns placed much further apart hit the much narrowed ties with all to guns
The link say muay to you Eckharts,
What happened to Lukes X-Wing at Bespin after the Empire took over it.
i somehow got this in under 15 seconds
hey, this is that one i asked for a versus on a few years ago
Perfecttt.
While Fractal sponges Legator Class Star Dreadnought is a clearly out of cannon design. Does the inspiring capital ship profile from Star Wars Tales #21 indicate that by 32 BBY there were worlds outside of Kuat itself that had acquired large SSD scale vessels apart from the Mandator?
I liked the model of star wars republic at war more than the other mod version.
#AskEck whats the the easiest way to get into war hammer and its lore? Been learning a lot about the Adeptus Astartes and the imperium of man after the astartes video you uploaded that blew me away. Ive been watching lots of videos but still feel like i have so much to learn.
hey, there is a series called "if the emperor had a text to speech device" from Bruva Alfabusa, it is basically making fun of the whole 40k universe but it is a lot of fun and a good starting point if you want to learn more about it, searching the stuff they talk about as they do so.
Lot of channels Baldemort, and 40k theories, as well Wolf Lord Rho are great to have in the background while you are doing something else. If you are sitting down and want to watch a series then what they put "If the Emperor had a text to speech device" or ITEHTTS, or TTS.
All SSD's will be known as blocks of cheese from now on.
So early the Force had yet to be split between the Light and Dark.
You’re so early the Jedi Order was still the Je’daii Order
Which clone wars era “SSD”? Mandator I/II or bellator and Praetor?
#askeck How common was exploration and colonization in the Star Wars galaxy (c. A New Hope)? Or was every habitable planet pretty much found out already?
Imagine if we have these super ships and the Star Fighters like the ARC 170 exploring mars and colonizing other Planets and visiting Proxima Centauri in realtime without cryo sleep like the UNSC ships. Also be able to have a lot of probed to send the planets in the solar system.
How do you feel about the fact that the Gen’ Dai bounty hunter, Durge from the 2003 Clone Wars series is being brought back into the Star Wars canon?
#askeck
if you were to re make the CCS class super carrier how would you do so (you do need to keep the covenant look)
Could you put a note on your thumbnails saying if something is cannon or not and how about an episode about the New Republic's (cannon) SSD'(s)?
#ASKECK I havent read the old Thrawn triogy yet, but is the Rukh that dies in SW Rebels the same Body guard who kills Thrawn during the battle of Bilbringi?
And if so could that mean that, if Thrawn returns in the new SW Series, that he does not die the same way, perhaps even does not Die at all?
I am playing fall of the republic right now
I do like the Mandators, though I'm never quite sure how I feel about the prequel era
#askeck does the Bellator, Assertor, Secutor, and Vegance made it to the canon?
Also if you know, does the TIE Scilmitar, TIE Advanced, TIE Opressor, Vegance SSD and Praetor SSD, Victory, and Gladiator SD are getting canonised?
#AskEck suppose Naboo had to field a Capital ship of some description, what do you think it would be and why?
#askeck I have a question about Halo:
I'm not completely up to date on all the halo lore, so I might be asking a dumb question. But do you think 343 will ever release a game or even just more lore about ancient humanity? I heard that Halo Infinite is the last game in the Master Chief Saga, and they've focused a lot on this era in all of their games. I was just wondering if you think they will go there after Infinite, or will it always be enshrouded in mystery?
#askeck in the finale of mando season 2, either boba fett or Bo Katan said that Mandalore had been “glassed” I’d never heard that term used before, what does that refer to?
Bombed so hard, probably from orbit, so all that's left is a glass surface. It's usually used in real life when nuclear bombs are used, they leave a glass surface because it melted everything.
@@neondemon5137 only in modern science...real science disagrees...I use Hiroshima and Nagasaki as my evidence....
I use those 2 cities as evidence for everything nuclear related actually...everything we say about modern nukes is bs lol
It means that the planet was bombed to the ground
But it could also mean that operation Cinder was carried out on Mandalore
Ima say mandolore got reached ... what too soon?
Weird to think about being in the GAR / Navy and having your purpose go from selfless protection to selfish oppression
Could you ask him to add EC Henry's star destroyer to thrawns revenge
Could you make video on speeders
I would upgrade this super star destroyer to have a better hyperdrive...........

If there was a document that repealed the Ruusan Reformations, what would it be called, and what would be its content?
