I’m collecting a dark metallic grey 2018 F-Sport tomorrow with the red rose interior, adaptive suspension, sunroof and the Premier pack and have a bit of a drive home so this is super helpful for getting me up to speed quickly- thank you!
This is a great overview of the car, I really like it. What trim level is this and do all of trims look the same on the outside?? F Sport has that kool dial but im not that fussed anymore.
Thanks for the comment. The trim levels vary but in the UK I think we get this model which is the Lexus IS300h Executive Edition Saloon Hybrid E-CVT. F-Sport gets cooler body styling features and lights and sportier suspension setup. The wheels are more sporty looking too. I do love the cool dials too but the one in this car is really good so not a deal breaker for me. I think if you want reverse camera and features like that then you will need to double check before you buy the car. I always write a list of features I need and then make sure the car I am buying has atleast that. Otherwise I end up hating the car or not enjoy the ownership experience. What specification and colour do you want?
Thanks for the comment. Depends what mileage you do and if you drive only locally or use it on the motorway. If you are only doing small trips a week then all cars will drink more fuel. Most cars that are used on the motorway do way better mpg.
Hi great review. It's quite in depth. I am looking at getting this car next year. Would you recommend it in 2024 or go for a newer car, which I will have to finance if over 20k... However these range from 12k to 17k depending on mileage. One thing I wish it had was a digital speedo where it tells you the speed in numbers. I hate using dials after having a digital speedo

I think for me I would go for the one in this video if I had a low budget. If I had more I would go for one with a bigger screen, Apple CarPlay and LFA inspired dials. Depends what features you must want and need, then buy that car if it is affordable. What features do you really want and need?
Screen wash: If you pull and hold the screen wiper stalk the spray will continue and then the wipers come on. If the headlights are on this action also activated the headlight washer spray. I use the Rain-X washer fluid as this gives a very smooth/quiet action and adds water repellent to the screen. A bit more expensive but worth the extra.

Dark grey is a fantastic colour! The logo is a really cool feature and I don’t think my little brothers car has that. That is a nice touch.

I’m considering this car but on a 21 plate upwards. But get mixed news on the mpg. As this would be my only car .
