You are telling the truth! Years ago, God convicted me and I turned away from the sorority I pledged years ago! God delivered me, and I tell my daughters and son NOT to pledge because it’s not of God! When pastors and church members speak of their affiliation with these organizations, that tells me their spiritual walk is actually carnal. We cannot serve two masters! There is no middle ground! Either we are for God by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior or we are for satan. Enjoyed your message and keep doing what this says the Lord!🙏🏾

I have to admit I’ve turnt my nose at this series because I felt like if I don’t believe in the history of yoga, sororities, etc that I’m not falling for satans trap but you have opened my eyes to new information that has changed my perspective and led me to his word and researching the history for myself. Absolutely. When you practice it regardless of whether you believe the origin, you still come into agreement spiritually. 🤝. That's what I've learned. It doesn't matter about the intent. It's about what is.
My older sister lost her mind to yoga 🧘♀️ and I mean literally 😔. I had a front row seat in witnessing it at just 7 years old, and she was 17. I used to be all in her business and watched everything she did with curiosity. She would be making weird poses and hum. I remember her telling me she was meditating and leaving her mind blank. I knew it was wrong because I was raised being taught that you should always meditate in God and never give space for other things to enter your mind. She was never the same after.
The scary thing is that it's now taught in schools to our kids at a very young age.
SAME!!! I knew I was at a crossroads (ministry or my sorority Sigma Gamma Rho), and I didn't know all of why I had to make a choice after a THIRTY YEAR MEMBERSHIP. It was not until I said, "Yes" that God began to reveal to me why I needed to renounce and denounce the sorority. I sent my letter, and I am beginning the process of telling others. I also needed to go through deliverance because my great-grandparents were a part of the Eastern Stars and Masonic secret societies. TODAY, I AM FREE, and I know the Holy Spirit will lead me in how to tell and witness to others. YOUR VIDEO was one that kept coming across my feed. God used you to get me to finally stop running and to submit to His will. THANK YOU FOR YOUR OBEDIENCE!!

Well said. I have family members who are in fraternities and sororities. Not only is it the rituals, but the Greek letters, gods and goddesses that are elevated, and the colors associated with each of the organizations. I pray that eyes will be opened! I thought I was crazy, I was hearing from the Holy Spirit, as if he wanted me to witness this for myself, so that I could stand out and speak up. Delta never had a hold on me because it was a matter of seeking knowledge, that legacy would not inform me of. But when I sat back and read those RITUALS I WAS LIKE WAIT I SAID THIS? WHEN? My daughter attempted to join Delta and almost got picked, but I was against it, so I truly believed God would hinder her from joining and He did just that, she was not selected!! I told her to praise God and give the Lord glory for He blocked it!!

Lala, I have been following you for over a year. I’ve never been Greek because of God’s grace(what felt like him being mean at the time)blocked it. I’ve actually sent this video and sent it to many of my friends. I’m coming back today to rewatch because I found out my pastor just joined a fraternity…..my heart is grieved and I feel so torn, confused, and caught off guard.

Thank you LaLa Jenkins for your obedience to God and for delivering the prophetic word to your people. To tell you the truth I was in a Christian fraternity in my college years long time ago, but God told me not to join there and I was totally disobedient to Him. Years later, God opened my eyes to show me the truth why I should not join that Christian fraternity. He didn’t want me to join with them because that is not part of God’s plan to do that, and plus there’s full of lukewarm spirits around them, there’s no Holy Spirit joining and supporting fraternity and sorority, and they worship God and other male- idols (idolatry) which the Bible says not to worship two masters. So God delivered me out of that Christian Fraternity and draw me into a relationship with Him (Jesus Christ). Right now I am serving Him (Jesus Christ) by evangelizing and teaching on social media, and watching, praying, and interceding to people for the coming of my King, my Lord and my Savior Jesus Christ. Amen!
I knew I wouldn’t be an AKA long when I joined in 2019. I NEVER fit in. The video you filmed with the (former) AKA member/ your friend & your “Obedience is Hard” video helped me to feel like I had a “community” of support. The same for me when I pledge Delta. It seemed like I never did fit in. My line sisters did things together and joked with each other but if it was coming from me, it’s like I was goofy or crazy. Girl you better! I wanted to pledge Delta since middle school when my math teacher encouraged me to. My family, praise be to God, broke it ALL down from a spiritual element. I wanted to join because I was a cheerleader and Deltas were the best steppers etc. Not even understanding the truth and depth nor the pledges I would have to make against my Lord and Savior. I’m so glad I didn’t go down that path and seeing/hearing messages like this really affirm why that’s against the things of God. He has nothing to do with it.

Thank you LaLa for the video. I’ve never pledged but I have been asked in the past .But recently I was invited by my supervisor at work to join the eastern star sisters. Now the name alone sent a red flag 🚩 to my brain and she claimed that they they were a Christian sisterhood and that she couldn’t tell me all but told me to look it up and that her sisters helped her in her time of need and the sisters were very spiritual (whatever that means now a days) but Sounds Great! I looked it up and the first thing I saw was a pentagram. Nope! Plus, by observing the fruit my supervisor bares as well as the group. Their events have a lot of serious partying going on. Last time I checked Jesus and smashing don’t mix. Plus I’m not a party person. I’m more walking through nature/go to the spa to have fun type.

I pulled away from my sorority years ago because it just all felt so phony….not real. I never felt at ease with it. I was so stressed about it, like I had to impress my Line Sisters. Not sure why. I sought God & asked for guidance. One time, I heard the Lord ask me a question: “I set your people free from 400 years of bondage, so why are you putting yourselves back into bondage?”
I need to denounce but it seems so taxing at this point in my life. I just want to please God & focus on my walk. When I pledged, I was always in church, living in a college town where Greek life was very prominent. Where were the Holy Ghost-filled pastors teaching the truth to the flock?

Absolutely! I renounced from a D9 organization and a business fraternity. The business fraternity taught me so much but the things they had us do to join were weird! Ex: walking in a room with stairs while blindfolded having to trust the person in front of us while also sprinkling water (?) on us!!

I just found this video tonight. Your words at 6:27 about the real meaning of having no other gods before me are, almost word for word, the exact same conversation I had with someone about two months ago. It had to do with their belief that they can be in their chosen sorority and still be in right standing with God. I asked them if they realized that the apostle Paul was beaten and imprisoned for trying to lead Greeks away from worshipping the very same deity that appears on the crest of their Greek letter organization. They shrugged and said they don't worship the deity. I asked them that if they understood that when God looks at them, God sees what they have in their life and right now, it includes that false god, which is something God really hates. Then I mentioned that when God said to have no other gods before him, he wasn't saying we can have other false gods as long as we put him first. Instead, he was saying don't have any false gods associated with us in any way, and that if we choose to do so by affiliating with one of these groups, we are putting that group's symbols into a place where it is now before, meaning in the view of, God.
This meant absolutely nothing to this person.
Now let me tell you why else I am feeling stunned. This conversation occurred the night before the funeral of another relative who died long before anyone would have expected them to die. I had this very same conversation with the person who recently died two or three times in the past couple of years. They were a proud member of a Greek group and whatever I said to them about idolatry or treating people in ways that displeased God during the intake process seemed to have gone in one ear and out the other. This newly deceased relative defined their blackness in part by being in that Greek group and also in supporting things that are deemed to be liberal or progressive. It got to the point that they told me with a straight face that it's discrimination for a man who wears a dress and makeup to be told they can't be hired to be a teacher for little kids, even if Christian parents weren't comfortable presenting this kind of person to their young kids. Why did they believe this way? Because if you are black, you have to be in support of whatever the (fill in the blank) political party says (this was their way of thinking). They told me that abortion is not murder. I truly began to be concerned that little by little, as they adopted more and more of the views of this party that all black people are supposed to love, could they possibly lose their salvation? When I heard of their untimely death, I couldn't help but wonder if maybe God took them early so that they wouldn't keep giving ground to the enemy and end up losing their salvation. We're all going to die, but I want us all to die in the friendship of God; maybe this person needed to die at that time while there was still some friendship with God remaining.

"We don't even believe in the same God..." Well, it depends on how you look at that. If you are affiliated with an organization that is rooted in a certain "god/goddess" you now share a common belief either in that new god or at least in the ways of that new god (AKA the clubs or sororities and how they operate) and have, therefore, become brothers and sisters with those people, because you've all kind of become children of that foreign god that you've dedicated yourselves to, whether intentionally or unintentionally. It's kind of like how the Teachers of the Law and the Pharisees, unintentionally did the work of the devil, thinking they were doing the will of God and Jesus had to rebuke them and call them "children of the devil". Sigh. Satan and his schemes. Lord, have mercy!
