You have the chance now to make to change your choice. Jesus asks us to confess our wrong doings and turn over our life to him. He'll provide the rest. This Life is more than a brotherhood on this earth - your soul is eternal. If you choose the brotherhood over Christ Jesus you won't go to heaven. But the life you envision Hell to be is not what you believe. It is a place without the presence of God. Meaning anything that you currently enjoy by the Grace of God. Like air, relationships a place to live, money, success the people you love and would chose to die for in the fraturnity all of that will no longer exist just you and every evil thing damned forever and my friend forever is a long time. Make a different choice while you have time.

As a black woman, from another country, now living in the US, I have experienced the roughness of these women who are in these "sororities", in the workplace. If one is offended by you they all gang up, target, bully, and make life as unbearable as possible for whoever their target is, to the point of forcing you out. This behavior is nothing short of demonic. What a blessing you have renounced it. God bless you.

@@SealedByYah as a fifty year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha along with my sister, my niece and 6 cousins, we don’t gang on people anywhere especially at work as it would be extremely unprofessional. Secondly, the majority of my Sorors are women of faith. I was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years and Director of adult religious education for 10. I’m also a lector and a Eucharistic minister. Our organizations are dedicated to service both our local communities as well as the world at large. And I’m proud to share membership with Vice President Harris, Fani Willis, Corretta Scott King, Dr. Bernice King, Rosa Parks, Sheila Jackson Lee and too many others to name. So proud of you for sharing this. As someone who denounced AKA, I know how much of a stronghold it is. It is indeed a cult and idol worship, even if we enjoy the relationships, activities, service, etc.
One of the greatest convictions for me came through the rituals. There were certain things God firmly commanded that I not say so I didn’t. I didn’t fully understand then, but looking back and eventually studying what was being said, we were forming a covenant with a false god. There’s so much to share about the warnings God gave (that I ignored) and how God drew me out.
I was also leading a women’s ministry on campus at the time (while holding leadership positions in AKA🫤), so when I denounced years later, many women were intrigued as to why. My denouncement was a witness for Christ to many who felt the same convictions or who even couldn’t see it for what it was. I sincerely don’t believe such organizations are for any genuine believer. But I’m glad the eyes of many are being opened.

Morgan, thank you for sharing. God led me to our videos about fasting and I had never known anything about fasting but God put it on my heart about a month ago. I followed your Esther fast and have been watching your videos as I meditate with God now daily. I asked God to show me what else I need to purge. He told me SGRho. I have been walked away from it since I crossed because I immediately knew it wasn't of God and stayed away. I was always ostracized because my sisters didn't understand. the sisters I came in with who had concerns about their faith quickly chose the org over God and dropped their concerns. Today, I was watching denouncing videos of Christians leaving their orgs. Your video came up and I see YOU WERE IN THE SAME EXACT ORG GOD IS PURGING FROM MY SPIRIT. This is no coincidence!!!!! SGRho has a small worldwide membership. What are the odds the woman who led me to fasting is also an ex-member of the very org I am trying to purge? God is good, He led me to you! Soo happy you made this video. I remember hearing you talk a year ago about God leading you to leave your greek organization and about 6 months ago He led me to leave mine and I'm forever grateful for the revelation and the grace shown to me. I later learned that God is not just calling us to leave because of where He's taking His children, but He's calling His children out because it's simply not of Him...at all.
Every greek organization is centered around a different false god or deity and when we are joining these organizations and saying those vows you are making a covenant with these false gods. It's so much deeper and much more serious than what people think.
God will not have His children serving two gods. It's not a game. and I'm so glad that God is pulling soo many of His children out in this season to shine light and reveal the truth whether we were originally aware of it or not. In this season He's saying pick a side you're either with Him or against Him. Chose God and stand for Him all the way, you will not regret it.

Also, my question to you is that when you join these fraternities/organizations it is a lifetime commitment, right? I understand your experience was different than mine, but also, don’t they make you pledge your time & loyalty to the organization?
The only lifetime commitment I wanted after was with Christ first and eventually my future husband. Everything else I was committing my days to had to go. But God had to show me this.

From what I've heard so far, I think that this young woman might've experienced something called tribalism. It's when you identify with a group so much that you develop an "us vs. them" mentality. It happens a lot with other kinds of groups like people of the same political beliefs or people of the same background. It also happens A LOT in churches and ministries!! In fact, it's something I think the Church doesn't talk about enough. I think it was good and godly for her to leave her Greek org, but I think it's important to note that this can happen even in "godly" groups and organizations (feeling defensive and developing animosity towards outsiders like you're in a gang). Just a short thought! God bless, I hope you see my heart.

Thank you for sharing this Morgan! Honestly, I believe the pledges made to any sorority are very idolatrous covenants made to honor and elevate honor to an organization above honor to God and His Word. There are so many covenants that organizations ask us to repeat or sign but those covenants should only be made with God. Not all organizations are bad but I'm always very sensitive when any place asks me to repeat specfic pledges or sign covenants to be made with them because God takes those seriously. So glad you shared this sis!

But he revealed to me that he had something bigger planned as well. I recently prayed to God about reassurance on my decision (even though I knew it was truth after his many signs) and here comes your video. Thank you Lord for you constant love and grace. It will always be you God🤍

I've had several opportunities to pledge for a sorority but even since I knew about soroties, it felt like it was a bit "cultish". When I gave my life to Christ, more opportunities were presented but God literally showed me why they are indeed cults. I have friends that are in them, and it seems like its always so much drama and I am one who can't follow any and everybody. A dear friend of mine denounced it and told me that God let her know that sororities and fraternities are not of Him. It's actually idol worship. I'm thankful that you were obedient. 🙏🏾 I can only imagine the weight that was lifted when you denounced it. I know several preachers that are caught up and they make excuses as to why it lines up with the word of God. Me: 😒
I respond by saying, "Yeah, that's what all of y'all say". 😂🤣😂

I was a Zeta and I didn't formally denounce my separation but I chose also to walk away from Greek life post graduation. After I got in, there were eye opening things (certainly could identify with how I treated other women) that it was something I didn't want to be affiliated with. I didn't like the woman I became and I also felt that I idolized my organization and God dealt with me on that. I love my line sisters to the moon and back and the few sorors that God placed in my life, but that chapter of my life is happily over and I love doing service and the work of God through ministry by being His hands and feet.

Lets just call it what it is... idolatry. If you depend on something else other than your creator ( God in Christ Jesus) for you life, success, identity and self worth. That is an idol. You pledge to the brother/sisterhood...them and their activities - that's worship. You cannot serve two masters. God is a jealous GOD he doesn't share his glory with anything or anyone other than himself. And since he made us He deserves nothing less than our full and undivided worship adoration and praise...Nothing else.

I really just wanted to scroll past your comment but I felt led to say something bc if you truly are a believer you are a sister in Christ ❤ You stated “what was best for you” but this is what’s best for ALL children of God as you cannot serve two masters. I also denounced my organization. The rituals we went through when pledging were to FALSE gods / evil alters, unbeknownst to us of course. Those evil covenants have to be denounced or they will still be active. I pray that the Lord will open up your eyes to see this isn’t an opinion that was just for her but a fact for everyone involved in these type of organizations and to give you the courage to do what he tells you to do without any “ifs”. “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” -Joshua 24:15 🙏🏽
