Funny thing is when I was younger I didn't know what sets were overpriced or not. Now getting back into Lego I still don't have a set I feel was overpriced yet because I'm smarter and can't get ripped off as easily.

I’ve noticed that the only thing that really runs up lego prices is the minifigures. You’re practically just buying the minifigs with extra parts to build a structure.

I order my sets from denmark i live in ireland and evan battle packs are like 15 to 20 euro like 20 dollars
At walmart I've been able to snag some 20 dollar sets for 15 or 16 and poly bags as low as 3. Gotta keep your eyes open and compare prices.

With Cad Bane's speeder, I agree it was too high in price. However, I loved the episode it came from (one of my favs from the Clone Wars) and Cad Bane is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, so I could justify it

In Chile the lego sets are very overpriced.For example a battle pack cost $20.000 chilean pesos(that is 36 us dollars)

Same thing here in Brazil. A battle pack costs $110 Brazilian real, which would be $25 dollars.

9:12 $40?! It's not a good set, but it's a bargain compared to the UK Price. It's £55 here, the equivalent of about $76. It's probably cheaper to buy from America and import rather than buy it right from my own country.

I feel like Anakin's interceptor 40$ price tag is justified. Decent ship, 2 platforms and 5 minifigures (I think Nute Gunray is kind of a rare figure, as I can't recall this version of him being in any other set). 35$ would have been more realistic, but I think its worth the 40$.

You know, the Republic Swamp Speeder appeared as a little extra model in the 2005 wookiee Catamaran. I like that model better too (bigger isn't always better) I do own the Luke's Landspeeder one, but I got it second hand, and it was missing all the minifigures. I actually quite like it, it's nice and swooshable.
I do really think that the more recent Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit sets should have been on here. They were crazy expensive..

why is the speeder bike of the general grievous number 1 ? you can find it at 20 dollars and there are the general grievous mini figure with their 4 lightsabers and mace wind's mini figure with his purple lightsaber.

something that i can't understand when i bought the 2011 naboo starfighter, because it has 318 pieces and it did cost to me 35 euros, and back in 2015 i bought the flash speeder remake, and it has around the same number of pieces like the naboo fighter and it did cost to me around 45/50 euros

Probably one of the most overpriced big sets here in the UK was the 2012 Jabba's Palace. It had 717 pieces and sold for $120. Therefore the price should've been around £98. Instead they sold it for £120 which is closest to $147 which is crazy

Well the set im talking about isn't really Star Wars related but DC related.In my country.A single set of LEGO Mighty Micros "costed" me 1000 of our currency and in U.S. 1 dollar is 50 of our currency.
Interesting to see how many newer sets are rip offs and just really not good builds. I started back in the early 2000s, so I have most of the awesome sets that have been tried to be remade poorly. Still gotta get myself an ATOT though :)

In Norway the razor crest is almost sold out on every website so i bought mine for over 210$ and the original price is 160$ and in the U. S. its Just 130$
In Denmark 🇩🇰 the Old MTT set for 100$ Cost 3000kr = 350$. even to this date 😢😢😢
