@@Maxim499 I'm curious on how you fly LNAV on -300/-500? How do you select nav source if you want to fly GPS by following your GNSS instead of conventional VOR? Because in -600 there is a selector for FMS/GPS or VOR/ILS.
Hi, very nice posts! Do you fly the 72-500 as well with the PEC? I also noticed that the engine controls look different - no notch markings on the PL quadrant, no AUTO detent on the CL quadrant -. I am a 737ng pilot myself but i have always been fascinated about the ATR’s so if u dont mind i would love to ask you a couple of questions on how you operate those PW120 engines. Thanks for sharing
@@diegobeatrice5257 i fly both 42-600 and 72-600. Never had a chance to fly -300 and -500. That is why I'm also curious about classic ATRs. The one in this video is 42-300. All ATR variant has a notch on PL since they are equipped with EEC. The ones without PEC are -200, -212 and -300. That is why they dont have Auto control on CL. -500 & -600 are PEC equipped.
cruxader27 hi, thanks for the answer! So maybe you can help me out with a couple of questions i have about the atr72 with the PEC, assuming the 600 version is equipped with one, which i am sure it does. As far as i can see the main difference is the avionics, am i correct? I also read that on the 600 with CL in AUTO you basically only have two values, one for takeoff and go around and MCT which is 100% and one for the other settings of the PWR MGT rotary selector, while for the 72-500 u have more
