so far this is simple and productive! Love it! - HOWEVER! - the life timer is a real downer! - I am determined to beat the odds and have more than 15 productive and living years left on this planet!
Maganum sounds like a wonderful extension. However, when I went to install it, I was warned the thing can read everything on your web pages, replace the tab you see when opening a new tab plus it can read and change your browsing history. And, since it doesn't do anything you can't already do, there's no way I'd install that thing. It sounds like malware hidden in a pretty face.
don't worry if it had virus, chrome wouldn't add it to chrome store also that website have ssl certificate and my antivirus said that website is safe so you are safe
The life-timer gives me anxiety just thinking about checking it lol. Great video, thanks for sharing this amazing app that I'm definitely adding to the arsenal!
Tons of extensions already do this. Plus pinning extensions works like a charm, there is no need for a sidebar. I'd have vertical tabs over it any day.
Nice idea and interface - but completely contrary to my use case. As I don’t use Google Calendar or Tasks, but heavily use Google Keep. It is a shame that they cannot provide the same interface, and then let you choose your app of choice for each option...
You can display Google keep on favorite's. You can also use google calendar feature for another project or moonlighting or for convenience... I plan on using it just for convenience.
this is very useful. my primary browser is opera and this feature comes built in but it lacks customization options. this extension will be handy for me
For translation porpose, I far preffer the ImTranslator extension, since the translation popup as I select a text across all websites. it that much easy and productive,JUST TRY IT!
Installed, and it looks very promising. The sidebar's position on the lefthand side of the monitor does not work for me because I use two monitors, and it's difficult to hit the correct spot that unhides the sidebar. Easy enough to detach the sidebar, but how do I attach it to the opposite side of the monitor?
I'm going to try it out but, I probably won't keep it. I use groups and checker plus, and a few other extensions with bar folders. I just got comfy with my set up. However, I read that it will help with my work flow so it's worth a try. Thanks.
Thanks for this informative video. Good to see a professionally produced video for a change on RUclips. Not sure why so many whiners and complaints in the comments but I guess whiners they be a whining! 😂
Scott, thank you for this (and all your videos). I have learned lots of great tips from you. It would be great if in the future you can comment on how much resources these extnesion take and will they slow down my browser. My chrome is already so slow ... (idea for another video -- how to make chrome faster). Thank you again. Simon
I'm so glad that you are learning so much from my videos! As for your suggestion, I think this video might help you out: ruclips.net/video/hXT2FkIB4i8/видео.html
Very good Video, but I just use the Vivaldi Browser and have all of that (and more) already integrated. Besides that, there are a lot more of settings. I can even put the URL-Bar at the right or bottom side (If I wanted too). Maybe you could make a video about that browser sometimes, it gets way too less attention. :-)
Hello, this conflicts with Vimium (extension), when I want to write a translation the Vimium commands start executing, it is as if the translator text box is not an input. anyway fix that
Nice extension but unfortunately only available for Chrome so far which I do not use. I hope it will be modified to run with others browsers like Brave, Firefox, Opera or Vivaldi.
Good Tool but you have to be crazy to pay $10 month for just quick access... I prefer to pay little bit more and have access to GPT 4, the difference between an "Ant" and "Elephant"
WTF, dude, you've just been uploading paid promotions, without even actually stating it during the video. I used to like your content, but it's become so biased that I can't trust what you say anymore. Unsubscribed.

Want to make Chrome more productive? ✅ Add the Mangamum extension here: get.manganum.app/SiTg
First but no thanks
Just downloaded it!

That's right, Kathy. You go and prove the timer wrong!
OMG what a thiing to include !!
WOW!!! The best Google Chrome extension I've seen so far. This will save me a lot of time. Thank you.
So glad that you think so, Robert.
I have added the extension. Very simple to do, and so far looks really useful. Thanks for the tip.
You are very welcome, Mike.
Very well done -- scripting, pacing, audio, and vsuals.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks, Carl.
Underrated channel for sure! THANK YOU
Thanks so much, Daniel.
@@Simpletivity The honor is all yours. My productivity is getting better thanks to this channel
What data does the extension access? Did you vet the privacy policy?
This is so 🔥🔥🔥 I love this I had to add this asap! Heavy game changer!💪🏿💪🏿Boss moves on my productivity! FACTS!
So glad you're enjoying this extension!
Thanks so much for taking me to Manganum.
You bet! Thanks for watching.
Excellent extension. Thank you for sharing, seriously.
You're very welcome, Kevin! Thanks for sharing.
As always, thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge with us all.
My pleasure, Dale!

If you use the Edge browser, CTRL+shift+E brings up a side bar on the right and you can have Keep there.
Keep.. is No. 1 for me, no Keep?? Deal breaker...
Another great video and looks like a great productivity enhancer
It certainly is! Thanks for watching, Victor.
Vivaldi browser has a built-in feature like this
this is very useful. my primary browser is opera and this feature comes built in but it lacks customization options. this extension will be handy for me

Thank you for sharing this information. Does the sidebar only work when you click a new tab when one use Manganum Tab.?
this extension will going to help me a lot, Thanks bro.
Glad to hear that!
For the focus task on the new tab page: do you need to add a task manually, or does it just show the next task on your task list?
Thanks for letting us know about this extension Scott! 🙏🏻 I've only installed it for 5 minutes, and already ❤ it!
Fantastic! I'm so glad to hear that, Darius.

Oops. Rewatched the video and discovered it does not auto hide on the RHS. was looking for it to do something more than it is capable of. Oh well...
Great extension. Thanks for the heads up.
You bet. Thanks for the comment, Greg.

Hi Scott. Can't see the left hand side of your video, i.e the side bar, on desktop, mobile is ok
Thank you very much. It is unbelievable that 1 such good utility exists

Very good!!!
And it's working fine in Edge browser also, so far.
Claps, claps!!
Will try this, thanks for sharing this

Any plans for Manganum to make this extension for Firefox?
Maybe next year 🤔
Great thank you

No, I promise you 🤗
Where are the notes stored ? Can they all be saved to a file ?
Thanks for sharing, but Chrome Tools are removed from new update, is there any way to bring them back ?
looks interesting but this isn't the Bookmark bar you were talking about last week is it?

How often is it updates. I'm only asking since there are many extensions seem abandoned
thank you very much! it is helpful!
You're welcome!
hi, how would I change the background in this, please?
In the lower right corner (of a new tab), select the picture icon. This will let you change the background image or video.
very good i like that
I'm glad you like it
This would have been perfect if only it wouldn't change your home page. The sidebar is very useful, but you can't have one without the other.
Is this Manganum extension safe?
Nice. I don't have access to those extra things from from my good drive and I pay workspace. I will need to check on why I don't see that ?
Take a look at the very bottom of the screen when in Drive. You should see a little arrow that will let you expand the sidebar.
@@Simpletivity really wao? Let me check two years paying workspace and never noticed that. Thanks

Does anyone else find the launchpad looks different (icon, not tile) on other Chromium-based browsers and isn't as functional (Chrome tools missing)?
I installed it but now I cant use Toby for Chrome no longer
Alternate solution: Using Opera or a second monitor
and yet its still on the browser.. hope its on desktop which is can see even other application
The years left sold me the product.
well, I suggest Vivaldi
Thanks for the suggestion, Zhang.
Nice extension but unfortunately only available for Chrome so far which I do not use. I hope it will be modified to run with others browsers like Brave, Firefox, Opera or Vivaldi.
I just installed it on Opera. Seems to be working fine.
Why install the extension when you already have that in Vivaldi? And more...
Because not everyone uses Vivaldi.
Vivaldi users when not everyone uses the same browser as them 😱😱😱
I would love to get into the NFT market but it's expensive with the gas price alone, something could cost $18 but the gas could be over $400
1 week I've spent 1 eth on gas
That's why I'm only interested in crypto trading and i have been making huge profit ever since then.
I want to get into the NFT market but i don't really know how it works, I think cryptocurrency is more better
That won't bother you if you trade with an expert like Charlotte Jones I've been trading with her 💯
@@musabbikhmir958 Absolutely! Charlotte Jones sells rate is really good and everyone will have a chance to buy from her guide
That looks like a fantastic add-on. Unfortunately, it's no longer free. It's $60/yr paid annually or $10/mo paid monthly. Bummer.

Just wait til this guy figures out that Vivaldi has all these built in and more.
Why are some chrome extensions free?
Many Chrome extensions are free for several reasons including marketing, ad monetization, and data collection.
they are collecting data, see the privacy section before installing
is not free anymore
the biggest tip is to use a different browser that you like, chrome is not one for everyone
Nice but I won't download it anyway
100th comment BTW
Downloaded it!
???
🤣 You can save all that work just by switching to Vivaldi browser :)
No
..... This FREE Chrome Extension .....
how do they make there MONEY .... from YOUR... data ?
i think people can donate? Thats how everyone who make extensions get there money from...
This pretty much copied what's already built in to Vivaldi
Sorry, chrome gathers too much of my information. Will never use chrome.
Another company that wants access to all your personal information?!
I'm sure they're ethical 🤞 cross their fingers hope to die trust them.
Not a free App. Looks great. $2.50 a month.... pass.

I guess if you are unsubscribed, you will not see this but right in the middle of the Manganum page is says pretty clearly "It's FREE"
it is a vivaldi copycat
