Welcome to another Episode of Ross Reviews AU on this weeks Video we take out my good friends 1994 Nissan R32 GTR V-SPEC2! in practically mint untouched condition.. this rare JDM legend is one of my Favorites growing up as kid.. with this car's platform more than 30 years old it's insane to see how well these cars can still drive on a B road!

Nice one Henk! Was always a Godzilla fan back in the day. As I recall the Oz delivered GTRs back in the day were in the $100K ballpark!

This is also why the build numbers are low because they had to make so many for production.
This is why the Nissan engineers came out to Australia and helped with tuning and handling so they could say the car that won the race on the mountain
The standard R32 GTRs were sold new by selected Australian Nissan dealerships with full ADR compliance in the early 90s. From what I remember, they were well over $100k back then
I think they were about $110,000
@@carseyeadmire You could buy a house for that much back then! Adjusted for inflation, that’s at least $220k now. The VN SS Group A and the VL Walkinshaw were way cheaper and Holden struggled to sell those at a lot less than Nissan were charging
@@bafg182 you can blame 45% wholesale tax " 25% tariffs back then . Gtr in Japan was $60000 wholesale

My brother in law used to have the 4 door 32 skyline.
Not much room in the back seat.
Pretty sweet ride with some spicy mods though.

The 32 is my second favourite GT-R Skyline, behind the 34. Both cars are dope af. Would love to get my hands on either of them.

Love these cars especially in a gun grey mettalic paint to me the ultimate skyline in power and looks, also there's nothing wrong with the other models but this one stands out

I've had the luxury of being a passenger in one in Jurien bay, western Australia! It had twin turbo engine 😬 i think I was about 15 when I was in the passenger seat and i tell you what.. I still remember the G force's it pulled

The HICAS 4WS is brilliant once you stop fighting it and let it work for you - mine has saved me more than once !
You definitely have to trick your brain to just let it happen eh😅
@@RossReviewsau My car came with an incorrectly fitted aftermarket steering wheel - Took 5 minutes to fix it and the HICAS works perfectly now

Ross is correct when he said "it's a RB26"- RB26 IS THE ENGINE IN A "R32 & R33"

The AUDM R32 GTRs cost $110,000 AUD back in 1991 lol. A VSpecII would have cost fuck loads more
I could only find the Japanese price😅 again that was a direct translation based on the old yen so would have been heaps more yeh
