When taking out a depot, separate your items. That way everything that is in hardlines and foods is actually in their respective main isles. It helps when hanging the depot so we’re not going across the warehouse to foods to get a pallet that is supposed to be in hardlines. Also, I don’t think Costco condones recording while working. I got a couple buddies that got written up for it.
thanks for the tips I agree organizing before running it out would be much more eaiser. And as for recording I talked it over with my general manager before making the video and he along with my AGMS agreed that it was okay, with some rules regarding the content of the video of course.. and oh yea!! that's crazy I think If I just stared recording without asking it would of been a problem so its a good think I had a sit down meetingg with them before hand!! :)
Wow never thought I would find a video of how we do Night Merch for Costco. Forklift driver here #1353 Loves Park, IL. I prefer mornings much more since we drive more in the mornings then nights. Members can be a pain to deal with.
Hey congrats!! I just got full time assistant too!! And yess its fun it feels like I am riding dirt bike 😂 I’m not sure how your warehouse is but my managers are open to hearing my opinions so if someone says they wanna learn they will try there best to try and help them get there. We are also really short staffed so that could be why LOL but congrats !!
oo yea I know what you mean I think the ultimate reason why I trained before some of the night merch guys is because I applied for the cross training and got It. Also at my warehouse I was talking to some of the guys on why they didn't train earlier since they have all been there for so long and they just said that they never wanted to.....
At my Costco 90% of the forklift drivers don't know how to drive the EPJ for some reason. I'm one the only ones lo know how to drive it and it's awesome!
@@missashanti5122 Don't be too sure about that, it happened to me. And I was Retaliated against, because the Managers didn't want me telling the truth. They will screw you over. It's a food for thought. Don't trust any of them. They all lie through their teeth.
Hi, just wondering how do Costco offload a big square cube carton pallet from the truck to the warehouse, as they don’t have wooden/plastic pallet on the bottoms. Do they use slip sheet or do they just forklift the whole thing up? Normally two cube pallet are stack together and nothing is in between. Thx
What jobs at Costco can I apply to be trained and certified for operating powered jack and forklift.I have experience and I heard Costco need people to do this kind of job.Thank u!
So I work at costco and I've started driving the epj and today I had to drop off in produce and it was super hard to see forks first into the aisle since I had 4 pallets. Any tips on driving forward when you have a tall load?
sorry kinda late but what I do is I look on both sides but mostly on the side that I am on when I am driving if I get closer to that side that im on where I can see more easy then I am most likely clear on the other side double check tho!!
pay attention to how the load is sitting when you pick it up, when you turn in make sure you pay attention that the area is clear. Other than that, use your horn to make sure some idiot doesnt walk in front of you and just go forward slow while looking at both sides. Get off and look if you need to.
1. Im gay for you….. 2. Ive Never driven one before and I lied and I told a new job that I’ve had 2 years experience with one and I’ve never driven one before, HELP ME PLEASE BROOOOOOOOOO
I be whippin my mfkn epj at work lmao

Epj and forklift certified at Costco here. This is the most fun job, I've ever had. Can be hard, and dangerous, but sooo much fun!😎
Good to know!
It'll be my fourth job and I'm only 19, and I'm hella excited and nervous at the same time.

I work at Costco and am super interested in learning how to drive. I got hired on this last seasonal period and I’m a full time assistant now. 😁

another Costco robot!
Any tips for a beginner epj at costco? I am trying to learn as much as I can in a short period of time.
Are there more videos? This was really good!
Learned nothing bout the EPJ .. Thanks tho 🙏
Looks easy I’m a female and finally got on at a position but I need to learn how to do this 😭😭
It's tricky at first but you'll get the hang of it. It took me about 80 hrs of practice to master it.
Hey, as long as you allow yourself to get Sexually Harassed, the Managers will move you up.
@@Tinyfurball no need 😊I got the hang of it and I wouldn’t allow that

If you can’t see forks first & you can’t go in in reverse see if you can get someone to guide you away from any area of impact & ofc horn safety
Easiest one to drive. Mastered that thing like no other, Although I do prefer a cherry picker at times lol
pallets cost like $5! I'm sure they can afford them breaking!
Excellent!!!!
Hated the walkie I prefer the forklift at my job
