I'm starting at US foods as a warehouse lead on Monday. Im going to be training my team members, and I am going to show them this video. Thank you so much for giving an easy, articulate, instructional video.
First job I applied for a job out my skills and got it. Now I start tomorrow and I was scared for weeks but watching this has made me more confident and eager to learn more in the warehouse biz
Very informative and super helpful! I was just thrown in to fend for myself and trying to turn was a nightmare before watching this lol. Thank you so much for making this video!
i jumped on one of these the other night. "do you know how to operate it?" asked the instructor... yeah yeah, i said. i operate forklifts and HI lifts, how hard can this thing be ? out of my way... then that glorified shopping cart proceeded to kick my arrogant ass down a few pegs. i was humbled when i couldn't turn it properly, and it tried throwing me off like the bull at Daisy Dukes. i dont even know if i went the full 8 seconds. i'd swear i heard one of those pallet jacks laughing at me when i punched out that night. so i got to practice that steering with my hip thing next time i get on it. i'll be walking by those pallet jacks at work with a bag over my head tonight. thats for sure. lol
Started a new job yesterday. Was told how to go forward and back. Then given a EPJ and told to practice for a bit, didn’t have the time as I was helping someone load things manually. Then was told to start bringing pallets inside. I almost flew off about 5 times.
@@raycutler2524 I quit the job. But not because of the EPJ lol .. I got to use it for about 2 hours by myself picking up trash for 3 days. And by the time of my 4th day i was getting the hang of it. On my last day was my first 12 hour shift using one of these things. Just take your time no matter how much people around you rush you. They used it it and I asked everyone I could how long it took them to get used to it and it ranged from 1 week till 1 month.
@@JoseJOnline Thanks so much for responding I appreciate it, I don't blame you for quitting too because these factory jobs can be grueling, i only plan on doing this shit for a few months until I can get this other job, supposed to start pretty soon, wish me luck and I'm wishing you luck on what you plan to do too bro 👊🏽
Turning was the hardest part for me. Especially when you're at a full stop, it's so hard to turn. They told me to use my hip/body weight to turn too but when you have to turn the other way without using your hip, that's the hardest part.
Where can I find local classes about using the electric ⚡️ pallet jack? Do they have in person classes now due to the COVID-19 pandemic 😷? I’m really interested in learning about using an electric pallet jack.
The ones we use suck lmaoooo work for produce company they don’t even train you lol these can be really dangerous especially in a wearhouse we’re you have 15+ guys all riding around in these.
Man if you have a light on that states that something is wrong with the pallet jack is because someone left it for you to write it up. Because someone doesn’t want to do their job and that isn’t safety.
I like Raymond's better. They are a lot smoother. Crown has a tendency to jerk on acceleration. Also Raymond's are better in the tight places. I mean maneuverability.. I started with crown center-stand, but now I am a Raymond fan
I am US POSTAL SERVICE mailhandler of Boston area facility (GMF). Please sent us a safety drive this product book 📖. Our floor is too many holes 🕳. Is it safety drive??? Do you have standard floor requirements???
I got a warehouse job a few weeks ago. Two minutes of training on the "Walkie". Basically, what the controls were and nothing else. When a week and a half later, I got to upgrade to the "Rider". Same thing. No safety instructions. No info. Just learn how to use it. I never knew there were this many rules and stuff. Either my employer is careless, or this is just how normal business takes place.
Thanks that I am not the only one who said that. Mario explained well. Very clear, I love his voice, his tone. A very good presentation. I am so happy during the entire course while watching, listening, and taking notes because he is so handsome and attractive. Did you see when when he first demonstrated the "hip" thing movement? Ohhh I love watching that move and I replayed it 10 times. I really love this video because I learned many things and I'm going to start my training for the EPJ, narrow aisle reach, counter balance, and order/cherry picker. Thank you MARIO, Thank you, @perfectexample5843.
@Brezzy 1815 really not, was very straight forward. just that our pallet jacks are all messed up so they tilt, slow ASF, or make so much noise turning lol
I like driving this machine but it must be emphasized that the epj is like a mini bull once that rabbit is triggered! This mach can be very dangerous if you don't follow his instructions to the T!!😉👍
OVER a Hundred Thousand veiws AND THIS DOESNT SAY OH THIS WAS NEEDED VERY MUCH Lets Make a Decision somewhere in the last 5 years to make the same video with out a thousand people working and horns blaring (ROMPER ROOM LIFE) GREAT VIDEO ...But SHEEEEEEEESH

It was a pleasure to take this class with yall!✌✌

I hate that some places don't teach you like this. They just throw you in and expect you to figure it out
Bro, same. My job did the same thing and I was like 😳🥺
My place been dragging their heels for about a year training me...
Same 😭
Same....
Right AWG FOR EXAMPLE

Thank you so much Mario. As a beginner, this a big help. Your presentation and explanation are excellent. I love you voice, your tone and it's clear.
It's so awesome teaching... I have certified counter balanced forklift and your video taught me through this video EPJ in few minutes...

How long did it take you to catch onto the epj?? Are you used to it now, the new job I'm getting requires me to use these things.

Mario did a fantastic and methodical job explaining how to handle an electric pallet jack. R.singh
The one I used today is tough to turn without moving it. The one he is using in the video is turning without moving the throttle. I need that one😔
@@misterfields87 this pallet jack is the newer one I used old Yale equipment they tend to be stiffer because of age
Struggled with this today 2nd day on the job
great lesson and good info thanks! I'm a newbe to riding EPJ I'll just be careful and take my time?
This actually kinda helpful BUT its definitely different when you're officially doing hands-on experience lol.
Yeah, man no kidding. I got a training tomorrow and I am trying to learn this
@@genoramirez4204 how was your training
@@Invalid666 It went pretty well actually 👌. I was able to perform and got certified 💯
@@genoramirez4204 hell yea man I just got on at nestle thought it was gonna be difficult but shit was cake

Way more helpful than the training I got.

You can ask your employers about "crown certifications"

What a guy!
Great Instructions !!!
lol I just crashed one today and got kicked out of work, crashed into a yellow pole because my turn was too wide. No damage or injuries were done..
Thats crazy getting kicked out of work when they probably didn’t train you how to use it

Great vid
Can't really adjust speed without a service code. I use the buttons to check my battery level and epj hours.
Lol, my training was 30 seconds on how not to kill myself, and how to knock stuff over
I am us Postal Service mailhandler. I hope you sent me pepper safely drive book. Other question is use this product to work place floors request???
