Thank you for this simple and to the point video. According to the store training videos, one is supposed to be trained but judging by some of these comments, floor mangers are not doing this. If not trained correctly, this can be dangerous and have much product damage. Your video was most helpful and to the point. Thank you. I mean really, thank you!!

Most people these days aren't very intuitive and incapable of figuring things out for themselves. They need in-depth instructions to operate one of the simplest and most straight forward tools.

Also make sure you push the jack as far in to the pallet as possible! This will give you a more stable load and you are less likely to damage the pallet too.

Another safety point is when pulling a heavy pallet make sure you are not standing on anything slippery or your feet will go right out from under you like that one time when i landed on my butt straight from a standing position.
A little something that the video didnt cover: make sure the front wheels of the pallet jack are not on the wood on the bottom of the pallet, if you try to lift it up, it will start breaking the wood off the pallet, now if you wanna be the one to get the ol hammer to hammer those nails back in be my guest, but if you dont, a way to make sure youre not on wood is to pull the pallet jack back a bit and if it was on wood it will roll off of it, trust me, youll know if it does. I hope this helps! And when youre walking with the pallet jack rolling beside or behind you, make sure the back of your foot is not near the rear wheels, because it WILL catch the back of your shoe at some point and its scares you.

That crown brand is so stiff and slow to lift asf. I use the red ones maybe Linde brand? Im not quite sure but it lifts even just one pump, easier to use and the handles are smooth.
What is the maximum height to raise this exact pallet lift to please? I need to raise a standard oven (the oven and 4 burners on top) to a small pickup's bed height, about 2.5 feet off the ground. Will one of these pallet jacks work for that? Thank you!

Steel or composite toe is highly recommended. There are many foot injuries each year and most can be avoided with safety shoes. Good call!

How do the front wheels touch the floor when the truck is lifted you'd think when lifting the front wheels would also go up.
They stay in the ground because they are attached with hinges that keep them on the floor when the jack forks are raised. Good question.
