We agree that this looks like the DEFINITIVE castlevania hack-rom fan-game. It has such a level of detail that it even seems like an individual Fan-game like Lecarde Chronicles 1&2 or Seal of the Curse, it is very difficult to believe that this is a hack of Portrait of Ruin And it's not even finished yet!! I take my hat off to all of you
It's a testament to how good this hack is that every time he picks up a new weapon or movement upgrade, Jup says "I'm switching mains." Everything is just THAT good.

The partner tag SE is mildly annoying though Feels sorta ironic that original PoR is the last game with Maxim's legacy(Stellar sword) - meaning either Kischine is no more, or retired from hunting the night entirely

I think someone just needs to make a Dracula X/SoTN style Castlevania engine. Maybe we can get some definitive remakes of the DS trilogy and even some brand new fan games made from the ground up. Clearly Konami has no plans to give us a new Castlevania game anytime soon that isn't a mobile game or pachinko machine.
The amount of custom content(especially weapons and skills) make me reallllllly curious about all the enemies' 0.4~8% rare drops.. What's *Leon fake* gonna grant us with?

The hack looks amazing, but the portraits are horrible and don't match with the rest of the background. It would be better to put portraits of historic killers like Gilles de Rais, Vlad or Elizabeth Bathory instead of modern characters like Hammer or Igarashi.

Maxim and Juste look and move so well. It reminds me of Simon from Super Castlevania 4 but on steroids! The music and sound design is top notch!

Man, I love how Maxim's round jump is just the barrier attack from Metroid. Using it in a Metroidvania is just too fun.

Now this is top tier rom hack. Many things are so fresh it's like a brand new game. Also, House of Sacred Remains remix is simply gorgeous.
