The Court is right of course! Germany has an old tradition of political Kabarett (a form of satire) and what Roger does falls under political Kabarett! The German rock band PUR has an anti fascist song and the lead singer dresses in a NAZI Uniform and is clearly understood for what it is, the banality of evil! So, what the city did was taking a political side, a No-no.....

Are you sure? Id like to see you give so,e well explained egs to back up your point. Ive read them recently a lot. Although I find they are lacking big time sometimes, eg too ready to run lines established by the like of Murdocks idiots or the Daily Mail, eg failure to counter their lies against Bill Shorten the opposition PM to the Oz Tories at te time or failure to run a well argued peice with good sources against lowering tax on higher income brackets and often a little. BUt yhey do supurb ground breaking stuff sometimes, eg explsoing the OZ banking system and associated superannuation scandles, or discovering Exxon's scientists had reported correctly t their COE's what was going to happen re producing too much CO2 or consistent criticism of the US Republican Party and their proping up the real fascist, Trump.
To say the Gaurdian is fascist is just plain stupidly wrong. They are living uop to their ideals, they are owned by their staff, they were established after the Peterloo Masacr in 1819 in Manchester as a progessive outlet. To my suprise they were never pro revolutionary for the working class, very much a moralistic approach. They are just the same now. Dark side was on the album charts longer than anything else. So its pretty clear that it is good music. It has survived the test of time.
So the explanation for not liking it has to be that you simply dont get it. I suggest its worth trying to get.

I don't understand why the Polish government and many Polish young men have become nazi's and supporters of nazis. Terrible things were done to Polish people during the second world war by Ukrainian nazi's. Why on earth would any Polish people become nazi or support nazis?
I've met a few ww2 Polish spitfire pilots who lived in England and they were such lovely softly spoken, gentle, caring and decent people. I just do not get it.
Maybe a lot of western Ukrainians went to live in Poland at some point in the last few decades?
I think it was his criticism of the war in Ukraine that irritated the politicians. He's probably said bad stuff about the Polish government in the past as there's no way he would support their politics.
The polish government doesn't even acknowledge the collaboration that happened on polish soil that led to a lot of polish jews dying. Unfortunately many countries east of Germany seem to have amnesia and only paint themselves as victims or freedom fighters in ww2. In reality, most our our peoples were liberated by soviet troops while our governments had collaborated with the Germans in killing minorities dissidents all along
