FYI, that probably had more to do with the fact he lives, and builds these, on the Ottawa river where the provincial jurisdiction on the other side of the river (Ontario) does not permit the type of water pollution Quebec is known for allowing.
Hey All! Just to clear up any confusion about the water system on this boat: greywater from the sink and shower are filtered before going into the body of water. The toilet on board is a dry toilet and is not being dumped in the body of water. Toilet waste is referred to as blackwater. Sorry for any confusion :)
You guys there are awesome. You even filter the gray water before dumping it into body of water. Over here, we dump black water straight to lake or river like that... embarrassing I know...

Shane.....I'd have to wonder....just what is your intent with a comment such as yours? Just because the 'state' or whoever has a minimum standard for grey water......does not necessarily mean that it is worthy and appropriate!! Maybe, (and quite probably), the boat builder's grey water filtration system should become the new standard in Quebec?!
Larry Slemp You know exactly what my comment meant: that he exceeded the government requirement -- something that clearly many people don't do. No need to be obtuse.
