Of course fire punk starts building Allisons after I get rid of my Duramax. Is it possible for you to start working on 6r140s😂 thought I’d ask before I move onto the next project. Also, LaVonne looks really good. He must be losing weight. I’ve been thinking that in the past few videos he looks a lot younger or I’m totally off base here but if I’m correct, good on you bro.
Appreciate it, down 62lbs since Sept. But we are taking one platform at a time, in business i want to focus on one transmission until we have a solid work flow and efficiency, so currently no 6r140 work, but its possible down the road.
Perfect timing! I just Allison 6spd swapped my 94 2nd gen and now doing my 97 2nd gen service truck. They are fantastic for towing and work trucks. What converter was used in the teardown transmission and is it still running defuel shifts?
yes, the Allison is a much bigger platform to start with, they are not the fastest shifting trans, but are great for a daily workhorse. Racing a 48re will still be lighter, faster, etc
I still don't understand the hype around the Allison swaps. If you're adding power, a middle of the road Allison swap thatll handle 800hp is almost $15,000 just for the parts. You can have a 68 built to handle more then that for almost 1/2 that.
What’s the deal with the Allison why does everyone think it’s the god send if a tranny. In my experience nothing lives long behind a well built Cummins. It’s that low end torque that kills them I’d rather try to get the Eaton fuller dual clutch 7 speed auto to work with my Cummins. Or just build the 68rfe, IV beat the hell out of my 68rfe and it still lives, I don’t get greedy with the tune 800 hp is plenty for what I do. And 33” tires instead of the giant lift big tires and grenaded tranny.
Hello guys, please help me, i have an issue with the engine of my Case IH 2377 Cummins 8.3L 2008. Some strange vibrations. You can see but mostly hear what the issue is in the video linked below. ruclips.net/user/shortslVyDAB4WYGc I change the fuel pump and a lot of sensors, i verified the injectors and they are perfect, there are no mistakes on the pc when they tested it. Thank you in advance.
What we all want in life a 1000hp daily that gets 50mpg and we never have to work on! 😂
Wish the Cummins came with an Allison behind them from the factory. Feel like I have to baby my 68RFE anytime the power is turned up.
Get one with an Aisin it is about the same robust level as the Allison
G56 swap
That was a great take down.
These types of videos a fun to see for a guy who doesn’t rebuild transmissions.
Keep up the good work!
after watching RJ's stock duramax hit 1400hp ill watch anything he has to offer haha awesome job on this video also!

Do you guys offer rebuilds on Aisin’s?
Great video awsome content
THAT was awesome!
Good video
We wanna see RJs truck lol. Still on stock head bolts?
Did the trans have c3 oilers? How much mileage?

Lol why would you do something dumb like that?
That's awesome bet those 12v's work amazing now with 2 more gears behind them
@@fainfabrication9446 I hope that's sarcasm.
@@witcher71 not at all.
@@bigmurph1447 Yes sir! Lower first, reverse and double O/D. Best of both worlds.
Be sweet if you all would work on a Allison swap kit for us cummins guys. Specifically the 68rfe guys 😆
was just going to ask that, if you've seen the clutches in a 68 they are like a dirtbike clutch, those allison clutches are massive!

@@shauncollins2017 i wasn’t saying swap in an Allison to handle tons of power. 68’s are not cheap to build either.

If I swap any trans into my dodge from the 68rfe it will be a 48 swap
What do you do with the truck?
