- Welcome to The MUNCHIES Guide to Hollywood, where we're exploring the boundaries, literally and figuratively, of a neighborhood that looms large in our collective imagination.
In our inaugural episode, our host Kris Yenbamroong takes us to the best Chilean deli for empanadas, a meat emporium with a dry aged facility filled with 22,000 pounds of beef, and the best strip mall restaurant you'll ever find. Because of course, the best way to experience the many beautiful cross-sections of Hollywood is by eating your way through them.

Munchies really knows how to send out some good hosts for a show. Well done. You put Travel Channel to shame nowadays.

Yes to this show. I’m really happy to have a show absolutely dedicated to an area. Please keep this one runnin... I love it.
Great job with this series Munchies! Kris is a phenomenal host and really knows how communicate the importance of food and culture.
Humble beginnings...love your shows.
This is great. Remember Kris' Chef's Night Out being debauchery but his story and this format is great
August he is the guy that left his gf who was passed out at a bar or strip club something like that right. I remember he didn’t come off that well when pizza show came to la. But I really like him here
@@filippejic8864 That's the one. Chef's Night Out might not even had had a format back in 2015
I'm so happy they chose Kris, this is fucking great

O man hell yes!!! I'm literally up planning out another big day of cooking a few Thai dishes, looking at my copy of his Night + Market cookbook. It's a phenomenal book for the amateur cook interested in replicating real Thai flavors. Highly recommend you cop that.
This video is amazing love the host need more content like this and not mention the same host ♥
Sad to see APL close down due to pandemic issues. Hopefully he can bounce back.
Que grande Don Ricardo Flores!!! Logro sobreponerse a lo duro que es dejar el país por pensar distinto...
Vamos Chile ctm!!!

Insane Series...I am blown Away by the series. My eyes got moist on occasions and laughed at the Gay Swan Joke "10 years without a single Egg" till I was hysterical....
Loved it highly recommended
RIP Baroo, the best LA restaurant that I never ended up eating at.
Hilarious. 22 0 0 0
Just mapped it to see where it was. "Permanently Closed" WTF this video just came out! Bummer, looked amazing.
We tried to eat there one of the last nights they were open and they were basically out of everything. We left, sadly. Oh Baroo, I wish I knew you.
@@walle8642 What are you talking about? The location wasn't the problem. Baroo was always busy.
Mastery comes from repetition....words to live by🤙
I love this, one of the best channels on youtube. No politics, no bullshit, just good food and interesting people.
SHOUT OUT TIM AND ERIC LUV U PAPA ERIC
JCI1990 at the start eric says welcome to hollywood
Looks amazing.
Well, I guess everyone has 2 days left to go to Baroo before it closes...
I know, gave me a little chuckle though after Kris talked to the guy about him just disappearing one day
I think it closed on the 27th.
Yup, missed the last day already. www.latimes.com/food/la-fo-re-baroo-closing-20181001-story.html
Go to Ras Noodle up in the SFV! Thai noodle soups and dishes that I guarantee you've never had before. Flavors are so crazy explosive and vibrant
amazing content
Loving this host.
Great series. Loving this. But Adam is a straight up killer in the making with his butcher room, knifes and workout regime lolol
Its that Hebrew Mojo. Am Yisrael Chai...!
He looks like Johnny depp's distant cousin
Thik bolsen bhai
I felt like he and APL really bonded that was cool to watch. I get the sense he didn't like the Chilean guy much hahaha
Dope to finally see some fellow first generation Thai people doing thangs. Fuck yeah
Adam perry Lang definitely seems like he should be on an episode of jre
oh my god those empandas look sooooo damn good.
I love it!
amazing video
Ugh, I missed way too much when I visited LA....
WHY DID YOU RELEASE THIS TWO DAYS AFTER BAROO CLOSED?!?! Now I want to try it, so badly!
Loved the host ! A down to earth guy casually working out in a balenciaga tee !
Nice one!
WHAT UP, THAI JOHNNY DEPP!
Brilliant new series. First good one since Fuck that!
Thanks!!!!!
This is good show
This is great.
very nice, i like this video a lot and i mean that
los ingredientes que grabaste y alguna de las cosas que venden en el ricon chileno... son de Perú...
Keep this up please
I`m so jealous!!
Dope. Love LA
Love this host. Not being pretentious, or worse, trying to be funny. Just being real.
Imagine eating all those food after that deadly work out. AWESOME!
Surreal. 220000
Which kind of camera do you use?
Watching Kris on the show recipe tv ,looked him up RUclips, interesting dude.
damn i'm totally going there next time i go to LA!
I need to move to LA for the food
Ok, now this is epic.
It's a shame that Munchies didn't preface the beginning of this episode with the notation that Baroo's last day of service was Oct 27th and is now no more.
3Axel1996 what happen? Slow business?
@@Tkenny35 slow? not really. I think it was more about chef's decision to move onto something different. From the beginning of the restaurant, he said Baroo was just a 'test'
They said at the end
i crave all of that
Love this guy.
Shows up at a Gym with Sandals.
“Mastery comes from repetition.” Gonna write that down.
He kept his shades on the whole time working out lol
empanadas sin vino? claro que nooooo! Siempre con vinito :)
COOL !!!!
Dude this is my new favorite shit
How long ago was this filmed? Because Baroo has closed.
0:21 Oh hi mark
Anyone send me a link to where i can get the guys adidas polo top????
AWESOME
