If you need similar performance for $750, pick up a 6650 xt, around $270 rn, $299 at most. Then a 5600 for $130, with cheaper mobo prices too. It’s gonna give you similar or better performance, especially with SAM enabled, unless you use ray tracing.
You think you can buy all the same parts but switch the 3060 ti for a rx 6600
@@sage8338 Not a 6600. A 6650 xt. It’s almost $200 cheaper for pretty much the same rasterization performance. I have a 3060 ti, but I got it for $400 from Best Buy last year.
@@Wusyaname_ u telling me a rx6650xt cost 270-300 $ ? So a normal rx 6600 xt is like 250$ and a non xt rx 6600 is like 230$ that can't be true.

just put a 3060ti in my build along with a 5600x. Every game runs on Ultra above 60 fps all the time. It is such an epic upgrade from a 2700x and a 5500xt.
In 1080 or 1440p?
My step son has a 3700x 5500xt 8gb right now. I’m looking to get him either a 3060ti or a 6700xt. I’ll probably go amd though since he won’t be streaming. But I bet it’s going to be great for him as well

Man come on, you put sonic in the PC and didn't even test any of his games?
If you didn't know, there is a game called "Sonic Unleashed" which is considered one of the best ever made by the fans.
But sadly, other than a completely different wii and ps2 port, the game never was ported to PC from PS3 and Xbox360.
So, it is one of the most requested games for the RPCS3 and Xenia emulators, and it's one of the hardest games to run:
On RPCS3 you need a godlike CPU so you still probably can't get full 60fps everywhere in the game with something less powerful than an i9 12th gen,
and on Xenia you need a powerful GPU but at least it will run fine on GTX 970 and higher, tho it is very unstable on that emulator with lots of crashes so people prefer RPCS3.
So... yeah. You should test out Sonic Unleashed.

i went n got a 3060 but this was rright after cards finally hit a normal buying point. I had a 6650xt before and it had so many fucking driver problems it was actually rendered useless

I bought a 13600k w a 12th gen motherboard w lga 170, how exactly do I update the bios to support the 13th gen chip? Will I install windows 10 before or after updating the bios?
I would honestly prefer the 6700XT 12GB over the 3060 ti since it has faster raw performance without Ray Tracing and DLSS... Plus it has FSR and +4 GB of VRAM. I think it's the best bang for the buck :)
