I mean if someone was bullying me and I got powers I would probably do the same
One thing which no one appreciates but i don't know why, is his body language as spiderman. He's long, slender, he crawls, arches his back, he's the only spiderman that feels like a spider, and I love that. His completely black eyes in the first movie add to that. I love that suit
Although it seems to be unpopular, I like that suit too. I think it brought something new to an already well know visual. First time I saw I was like "wow he looks like an alien" (which is pretty cool for me, specially with the outsider vibe of the character)
Sleek
@@lucasparolin5507 EXACTLY he doesnt look like a guy in a costume and thats amazing
I heard that Webb said that the suit look like that cause that the suit a normal person can make
Absolutely facts
that suit was so bad ass i was mad that they changed it in tasm 2 the eyes were so cool and spidey like. i love how he taunts his enemies with jokes and stuff too it adds more personality to spiderman

Andrew definitely had the best poses, web slinging, and quips. His sense of humour and acting is similar to how Peter Parker is portrayed in the comics.

The thing about Andrew’s Peter is that he was more based off of the ultimate comics Peter. That version is a bit more arrogant and hotheaded but still a bit of an awkward kid. I think Andrew did a great job for this version of Peter.
60s Peter was also a jackass in high school. He'd talk back to Flash as well and make snarky remarks etc. He was also smooth with ladies, he wooed Betty Brant in his high school years. Andrew isn't so farfetched from early Ditko era

I was a production assistant for this movie and at the time Andrew and Emma were dating. They hadn't spoken to each other all day if not a few days before the capture of Gwen's death. This is a technique called method acting so the emotional disconnect and loss of Emma's presence would force the emotion out of Mr. Garfield. What Peter felt there was genuine fear and grief.
This was the first take but there were a total of 3, the first one was all that was needed.
Now you know why that scene was so powerful.

Ok bud

Garfield is fantastic. His Peter Parker, while different from the comics, feels more realistic than any other portrayal. He really brought to life the emotional baggage of someone who was basically abandoned as a kid and tried to deal with the hand he was dealt in his own way. His Spider-Man was perfect.
Different from Earth 616 Peter you mean. Because Andrew portrays Peter from Earth-1610 which is pretty comic book accurate if you ask me.
See I'm always confused by this, and I wonder why people keep saying it. Andrew is easily the most comic accurate Peter Parker when you take into account the comic Peter's genius, quips, and spider-like fighting style. Ironically large portions of what people complain about Andrew's spider-man actually comes from the comics. Peter Parker gets girls a fair bit, so I don't see where people get this idea that he's romantically inept. Even his spy parents, which a lot of people complain about, is directly ripped from the comics.
@@charlesoflyon6578 Yes, different from the classic nerdy Peter Parker.
I love The Amazing Spider-Man 2. My only complaints are the Dr. Kafka character and almost Schumacher take on Max Dillon.
As for realism no one even comes close to Tobey ...but still if you want your Peter to be less nerdy but not be a literal child Andrew is the way to go...For me SpiderMan will always be a nerd introvert guy(more relatable for me I guess 🙂)turning into a super hero...that been said I love Andrew's Peter and I am loving Tom's Peter ever since watching NWH

Bro. This Spider Man is Comic Accurate. People say he is way way to handsome and that Spider Man isn't handsome. While I do agree a little but you can have a face like Andrew but still don't have much friends due to you being introverted or just socially awkward. Peter in the comic isn't even that bad looking. Its disappointing really. Although I do agree about highschoolers being to adult like. Maybe its just my country but highschoolers here mostly look like young teens and not adults. Would've been better if this was set in a University tho.
All Spider Man is good on its own way. But this is and still will be, MY and many others, Favourite Spider Man.
Paradoz1 agreed! His Peter Parker might’ve needed some work but I’d honestly prefer this Spider-Man over Tom’s. And Tom isn’t a bad Spider-Man but he doesn’t feel like what Spider-Man should be to me
Heartbreak Soldier I prefer both his Peter and Tom as I feel as though in both ways it does a good job of modernizing both versions of the character, while Tom’s Peter just feels like an awkward teen, but doesn’t feel like Peter Parker. He doesn’t feel like the Everyman Peter Parker was meant to be, and he definitely doesn’t feel like your neighborhood Spider-Man. We get one montage of Peter in homecoming actually helping people and that’s it. We’ve seen the other two Spider-Men do that too. And to greater extents I might add. We see his Peter go through it beyond just obvious backstabbing (Mysterious) and the death of someone cared about (Tony Stark)
While I don’t think his Peter/Spidey is perfect. I do think it’s the most real/comic accurate but only that, a version of Peter Parker that is the most relatable when compared to any on screen version, while still having everything that makes Peter Parker, Peter Parker. As well as Spider-Man. Not only does his portrayal slightly reinvent the character, it never took anything away from what made him.
I still can’t get over how for a few years it was universally accepted that Andrew was the worst but now people are finally coming to the realization that he’s actually really good in the role

@ramen? what Peter Parker yall know? because I grew up on Tobey and I read some comics.
Prior to his powers he was angry and frustrated but wouldn't pick fights or challenge the bully. Steve Rogers pre-serum would step in and challenge the bully if he was picking on someone but not Peter Parker. But Andrew's Peter seems to be a douche just for the sake of it sometimes. Even in the early days in the comics shortly after his powers he had to restrain himself and not lash out for fear of exposing his secret identity.
@ramen? Not even close. He breaks the promise at the end of the film. That's not Peter Parker.
I personally like Andrew Garfield spiderman because he doesn't' have the entire avengers right behind his back.

The thing I appreciate the most about TASM movies, is that they're very grounded when it comes to the consequences of Peter's actions.
He goes through a lot of sadness, and the people closest to him always end up dying, which is a very realistic take for a superhero.

One little detail that you missed is that Peter being a douche to Flash Thompson is what causes Uncle Ben to have to change shifts at work to meet with the school principal, which is why he couldn't pick up Aunt May and asked Peter to do it instead. Peter misusing his powers by being a dick to Flash is literally the first domino in a chain of events that directly leads to the death of Uncle Ben.
Damn, I never thought of that
Holy shit I never realized this until now thank you
Not gonna lie I’m so glad that more people see what I see in his Spider-Man. Watching TASM 1 in the theaters was one of the best theater experiences I’ve had. He isn’t as good as Maguire, but I think he’s leagues above Holland. He just evokes Spider-Man. Because He’s a nerd, but they don’t make him stick out like a sore thumb. Which was Stan Lee’s intention. To have him just be a pretty smart, but overall ordinary teen. And I hate how people bring up that uncle Ben’s killer was never caught as a plot hole, when it’s literally integral to his character that he DOESNT get that revenge.
In TASM2 videogame the killer was killed by Cletus Kasady actually.
Well i watched TASM2 ON THEATER it was epic and fun

@@Ytuser2008-j3m for me, Tobey spidey is basically MIguel Mighara spiderman 2099 COMIC versions.
Tobey is laughably different than comics Peter Parker. We really laugh off the organic web shooters, but we literally see nothing of Tobey's science side. Even the spy parents are from the comics.
Andrew's Spiderman is more comic accurate for me. The Amazing Spider-man is not as nerdy as the original Spider-Man, acts really arrogant and is the very definition of "what if a normal teen gets a superpower". But that's your opinion and I respect that, and this is my opinion and I'm just saying what I think is a fact.
For me? Tobey Maguire's first movie from a story-telling standpoint was amazing, I loved it, I still do, it's simple, shows good contrast between Peter and Spider-Man, but when I think of Tobey's Spider-Man I think of a different person, and Peter built walls around himself with the mask of Spider-Man.(Also, in the second movie Alfred Molina's Doctor Octavius is amazing) The reason why I think Tobey's is the most appreciated, especially in nostalgia, is because it's easy to follow as someone completely new to Spider-Man. It starts straight from the beginning. Nothing lives up to it's standard because it just told the story as it was. Andrew has the emotional response, which Tobey only really had when his arc was over, and he truly became Spider-Man. His (Andrew's) body language completely sold it for me. Tom's is odd to me, can't put my finger on why.. Maybe the lack of quips. Andrew set up that side of the character great! Dialogue sucked though, but the emotion was definitely there.
However, the lack of quips for Tobey's Spider-Man? (Apart from the meme-worthy ones) Well, tbh, it didn't feel needed as much to me. Tobey's Spider-Man is the most cliché, with MJ always being in danger, but I still loved it.
Tobey's Spider-Man feels like a brand (for the lack of a better word), not a person. When the suit's ripped however, you're reminded of who he really his. Me and my nostalgia-clouded vision have to hand it to Sam. He killed it.
It's funny because Andrew's douchyness as Peter Parker is far more accurate to the early dikto comics than any other adaptation. The skateboard and all that is dumb but the chip on his shoulder and so on is amazing.
.
I think the skateboarding aspect isn't too far fetched, as skateboarding is one of the only sports that doesn't rely on other people. I used to be a skateboarder because I felt like an outcast, and skateboarding was all I had. It kinda reflects on Peter's personality

Never understand why people hate it so much. Definitely my favourite. He’s chemistry and potrayal of love with gwen was just borderline perfection
I still think to this day that Andrew Garfield should’ve been the MCU Spider-Man. Tom Holland’s personality is more Miles than Peter. Andrew deserved better. TASM 1 and 2 actually feel like Spider-Man movies. Homecoming and FFH felt like MCU spin-off movies and simply just that. They just didn’t have that spark that the Raimi Trilogy and the Webb Duology had. Peter actually had to take responsibility. Gwen’s death actually felt like it had an impact. The MCU hasn’t done Peter justice and I hope they can fix that. Maybe Spider-Man 3(MCU) can finally mold Tom into his own hero.

Personally, whilst I love how Gwen's death was handled at the end of the second film, I would have preferred it to lead into the 3rd film with Peter still struggling from that loss and not having come to terms with it completely yet so that the third film could focus primarily on Peter overcoming that grief, rather than them wrapping up that plotline so quickly. Obviously that was never to happen anyway as we never even got a 3rd film but I feel it would have made for a great arc for Andrew's Peter if we ever did get that 3rd film
That's actually a really interesting idea but at the same time i also liked how they ended tasm 2, one of my favorite endings and really captures what spidey means to the city and people all together and shows that he truly is a hero. Him facing gwen's death would've been amazing for the 3rd movie but then most of the movie would be more of Peter and not spidey which lot of people sadly wouldn't like. Maybe if it were a tv series that arc would've made a lot more sense
Apparently he was supposed to bring her and others he loved back to life using his blood in the 3rd TASM.. but seems a bit wack to me. I would have loved to see how they make it work though.
I'll be hoping to see him overcome his grief fighting his past monsters in Far From Home while also saving MJ from the fall 👀
I think they had planned for more movies but the second one didnt do good enough to make a third one not sure tho
boy do I got some news for you
I always liked how his was no arrogant and hot-headed because you can't just have a perfect character from the beginning and have him be same because starting imperfect and becoming better is called Character Development
Andrew Garfields spider man was the most realistic, meaning that his flaws greatly resembled a lot of people therefore it makes him more relatable. Yeah he’s not like the comic book peter Parker we know, but that’s what I like about them he’s different and relatable.
Comic book Peter was vengeful and egotistical until he found out he was responsible for Uncle Ben's death. Andrew's Peter goes through the same arc in TASM1
Tobey was also a pretty flawed person in the Rami trilogy. He gave up being Spider Man for a while and didn’t do anything to help a guy getting mugged and beaten in an alleyway. Not to mention how he becomes an egotistical asshole in 3.
Idk about that chief Andrews Peter arc is very similar to the ultimate comics where he can be cocky and witty
I don’t know if he’s my favorite, but this series is way underrated and I adore it.
No matter what anyone says, the TASM series will always be my favorite, i feel like they captured spiderman and peter parker perfectly and it just felt right, plus i also loved the suits for both movies, great series overall
Actually before the Raimi films, Garfield’s depiction of Peter Parker is 80% accurate (minus the slate boarding, etc) In the comics, Peter is a selfish, flawed asshole and it takes time for him to grow into the Spider-Suit. Upon getting his powers he becomes a bully and grows to embrace his responsibility over the city. He’s not cool, he’s an outsider. Not the nerd or the jock, just someone you know exists but wouldnt really care to talk to
Andrew's performance was absolutely fantastic. I loved him in both the movies and he will always be my favorite Spider-Man. Nobody can change my mind.
for real
SAME
The TASM movies are a masterpiece, complete, comprehensive it captures the Spider-Man experience.
Absolutely, these movies are what made me like spidey and in turn made me like comic book characters
It is quite literally the most underrated film of all time maybe. The whole plot line makes sense for people aren't easily confused. The fight scenes are better than the Sam Raimi trilogy and the MCU Spider-Man movies. Andrew Garfield and Emma stones chemistry easily made them a better love interest then Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire. The suits are better, the acting is a little better than others, and best of all, the reality of villains. It's not all light and sunny in these movies. It makes you feel the Spider-Man experience. Turning into Spider-Man trying to catch his Uncle's killer. In my opinion, I feel like TASM 1 & 2 are THE best Spider-Man movies, and I say nothing, NOTHING can change my mind.

- Peter finds motivation to be Spider-Man by the death of his TRUE father figure and the man that raised him Ben Parker. “great power comes great responsibility.”
- Miles Finds motivation to be Spider-Man because of the death of a former hero and trying to live up to that shadow that will always be placed upon him. Only to realize HE and only HE himself can live up to his own expectations.
From what I can tell MCU Peter became Spider-Man obviously because of the death of his uncle it doesn’t have to be stated when it comes to the backstory because everyone knows the story, BUT that doesn’t mean we just forget about it too, you can argue..”BuT PeTe HaD A OlD sUitCase FroM UnClE BeN”
Yeah? And what happened to that suite case? Destroyed. And he didn’t seem to care about the sentimental value of it too. He seems more
motivated to be Spider-Man because of the death of a former hero and trying to live up to that shadow that will always be placed upon him.
Edit: Should I go on?
If you want comic accuracy, then read the damn comics, let the movies have their own thing
@@vesha6274 yeah I kinda agree, personally tho I would love it if Spider-Man life story becomes a 1 season show on Disney plus or it could be animated too!

Andrew was always my favorite Spiderman, and nothing can change my mind.
Butterfingers
Rather than being a Comic Accurate Peter Parker, he feels more... realistic (I think), I mean like there ain't that many "Nerds" nowadays. Andrews Peter feels more of a loner or introvert, and I feel like he is the most relatable Spide man (except the stalker for Gwen part lol), but if we're going to talk about his Spider man, then he will definitely be the most accurate one out of Tobey and Toms Spidey
I'm not hating on Tobey and Toms Spidey, just stating my opinion here
For me I consider the Tobey spider man *movie* the best...
Good story, nice action, and overall easy to watch and understand..its got the classic movie vibe
Where as in tasm its a lot more hard ...
I feel like Andrews spider man shruggles in the movie were a bit depressing and he got the edgy teen sad vibes
But in between the two spider man actors I'd prefer Andrew a bit more
Very true by 2012 being nerdy wasn't seen as being a bad thing unlike the original spiderman movies
@@bigchungus5366 I love Tobey but something about his performance always felt lacking to me it felt like I was watching actor be spiderman instead of spiderman
He actually is a more comic accurate in a lot of ways as in og comics peter was a duche and wasnt a saint kinda like andrew is
Andrew wasn’t a great Spider-man, he was the best!
You had me in the first half not gonna lie
The best. He proved it in NWH.
@@itsxavier6173 when standing among the other spidermen he was the best , that really shows how great he is
No no he was amazing, alright I will see myself out now
The one thing I will say about Tom Holland is that he actually looks like he can possibly be in high school without an extreme debilitation. At least the kids will watch it without getting the impression that you should be a full grown adult before leaving grade 12.
So true, I remember as a kid watching Spider-Man (2002) I always got confused as to why the students were older than the teacher
@@bluesEvanskro I'll add that adults are likely cast in highschool roles in series such as Riverdale because the ongoings of those shows could amount to CP if the actors were underaged.
@@alexandermccalla5098 actually its more just the work laws in place for people under a certain age, its much easier to just cast and adult on almost any production
i've seen highschoolers with beards that looked 20
I disagree with alot of people’s take about Andrew not being a good Peter Parker he looks and the most like Comic Book peter to me. I do like the little quirks they added with the movies and Tv shows but you can’t ignore the original source material. Andrew Garfield was a great comic book spiderman.
I also find Andrew's performance the best, every time he's sad I feel for him and can empathize with him. If you've seen the deleted scene where he meets his father you can see how much this has impacted Peter. We have seen how much Peter thinks of his parents, how much he works for it. Only after a death, the death of the one he loved, he gets his answer. To him, it could've felt undeserved. Why did he get what he wanted only after losing someone? For him he wanted to find the mystery himself, to then feel a sense of accomplishment. You can see in the deleted scene that all his hard work for his parents felt unachieved. Then appropriately he is a mix of emotions, he's angry, sad, confused. Asking many questions in his head. It's a rush to see, it made me cry. Then we get the "with great power, comes great responsibility" line. It wasn't taught to him when he was young, an arrogant teen as this video has stated, that was his reward. What to do with his power, his gift. He wasn't responsible with his power in the first movie, even in the end. Gwen's father knows that if Peter gets too involved with Gwen she will die. Peter doesn't follow through with this, due to his lack of responsibility with his power, it caused Gwen to die. In a way, he caused Gwen's deaht from being irresponsible.
You can just see the passion and love he has for the character and role in his performance when i heard he was fired my heart literally broke for him
I've always loved TASM movies. In my opinion, the casting and acting are nearly perfect, and Andrew's Peter/Spiderman is genuinely witty and enjoyable to watch! Also can we talk about the directing and creative direction in these movies???? Especially the swinging through New York scenes at the beginning of Spiderman 2 and at the end??? I ABSOLUTELY love all of it.
my god so true!! the story in TASM is so deep and heavy!! i don't like home home spiderman this day, it's just bad writting or kind like such kids movie, but they make spiderman no way home now and give a chance to andrew that so fantastic!! i heard that's gonna be the third TSMA and andrew will fight venom i can't hardly wait
I love Andrew Garfield, he’s probably one of the best Spider-Man I know when you watch his movies, you can feel his pain and I like that it’s so emotional and very good
Wow this really opened my eyes, I always thought Andrew’s version was so bad because it felt too edgy. I need to watch these movies again he really did amazing and the comic influence is definitely there showing him as a broken, struggling hero.
Respect
ye i think you bring that edgy sort of spiderman out now and everyone will post about it saying they 'relate' and they 'felt that'
That fact that you said edgy makes your opinion invalid. Peter wasn’t even remotely edgy you sheltered weirdo.
This is awesome! Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is my favorite for all the reasons you stated. I will say he’s not the best (my opinion) but he’s definitely better than Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. I still hate that we never got to see Tasm 3 and Andrew stay as Spidey, he was robbed of his role.
Tasm3 it Will be crazy(yes i am fucking creep)
But there is a Hope Left
Spider verse 😀😍
This is the most realistic peter parker and spiderman.
It took him half a film to actually be spiderman(bridge scene)
His a teenager thats undergoing changes, has a complex, and is immature. Thats very relatable to an extent. The whole first movie was about more than great power come great responsibility. Its about doing the right thing because you can, and the hardest decisions are what makes him a hero. Peter in the beginning made a mistake which he regrets and in the end he makes a decision that he will regret.
Pretty much the same thing in the 2nd one. He makes a mistake which he regrets in the end because he thought he could have a normal life but that is far from it. But in the end of that movie he makes a decision that he wont regret is that by continuing to be spiderman.
Same thing as Tobey Maguire Spiderman. He took risks. And how is Andrew more realistic? because he doesnt even do photography like the normal peter.

About Andrew's Peter being arrogant and careless... in the Ditko's early stories he is a lot like that even after Ben's death. I think Marc Webb got more inspiration from that era for this Peter. The Ultimate version is kind of like that sometimes too.
Andrew Gardfield is actually also my favorite Spider-Man

Bruh i want to know whats good about this movie? He gets bitten on the back of the neck and he doesnt even do photography. The only thing that was nice was the suit.
@@exoticperc Did u just liked ur own comment?🤣
I'm not going to discredit Tobey or Tom because both of them were made for the role of Spiderman. But in my opinion and I'm sure many agree, Andrew was the best Spiderman. He kept his originality but also kept to the comic. His emotions were out of this world. Tobey and Tom's emotions were spot on but it felt like it was a movie, which isn't bad at all! With Andrews, I felt like what was happening on screen, was happening in real life. His emotions made it real for me. Andrew was always humble within his character as Peter Parker and I hope, I really hope that he gets to complete his trilogy of being The Amazing Spiderman
Great post. I sure do agree.
andrew is incredible in any role he gets, i seriously love him as spider-man
Yeah he’s the most in depth Spider-Man and that scene where Gwen died kept living in my head even before this video. The scene felt so real.

Andrew is my favourite Peter Parker because he embodies a modern teenager perfectly. The arrogant, chip on his shoulder that most teenagers have. We were and still are irresponsible at times and probably have a lot of anger at the world.
Gotta say, Andrew's performance when he lost Gwen is EXTREMELY underrated.
Every time I hear Uncle Ben's last message, I remember how I felt after getting out of a bad job with a Daycare. It was horrible there; I did everything the manager asked, gave it my all, only for her to put down some negative points of me not being happy on the job, or not working well with others. She was full if it. That was a year ago, but I still feel the damage of a bad manager. Another factor was my last grandparent passing. She died at the end of me being there.
I couldn't make it at a daycare, had online collage classes to pay and Ace, and I couldn't find a library job. I Thought I was doomed for failure. But, I got a call for a part-time job at a library, I worked and passed my first year for my Bachelors. Uncle Ben, and Peter helped keep my hope alive. That's why I love this Spier-Man. Toby's Spier-Man was my childhood, but Andrew I my Spier-Man.
I love Andrews' portrayal of the character in general, including his Peter Parker. I'd argue his Peter is better than Tobeys' version since before he became Spider-Man, Peter was kind of a dick in the early Lee/Ditko and Ultimate comics, which is what these movies mainly draw inspiration from. To me, Tobeys' Peter is TOO awkward and nerdy, to the point where he's just pathetic and unlikeable lol.
I had friends argue that he wasnt "nerdy" enough and said andrew garfield is like a model. 1. For the time period the first asm was made nerds weren't the stereotypical way shown in the early marvel days. They arent wearing sweater vest and pocket protectors with thick glasses. In 2012 the outsider or the kid picked on was someone like garfield portrayed. As far as him being "too pretty" my arguement for that was he isnt like some stacked dude that screams the American idea of attractive. If anything his features are pretty average. Brown hair, brown eyes, toned but not muscular, no hipster beard or stache, just a normal looking dude. I'd say he is better looking than toby, but my opinion is that doesnt mean much tbh. I never understood their hate for asm. I get why people dont like the 2nd one, but that first one is the spiderman movie and character I remember reading in the mid to late 90s (mostly the ultimate run which I find extremely similar to the movie in a lot of ways). I think people just remember the classic stories and want like a 60s spiderman...but to me that's just not relevant anymore. Those stories have already been told, and the world is a much different place. Sad thing is that if they got what they wanted they'd probably shit on it...people are fickle.
@@tigmil8116 I don't know why people say Garfield was "too good looking", Peter is never described as being unattractive in the comics.
@@tigmil8116 problem is people sees tobey peter as the true peter parker which is not , spiderman's charm was also peter's charm and if riding a skateboard was too cool for peter then i dont know what you called it after peter take mj on a date with a motor bike in college. Peter has some coolness in his body too, tobeys peter or the peoples definition of true peter is mainly the reason why they hate andrews peter

@@beck3094 Tobey IS the true Peter Parker dumbass!
i love all the 3 franchises. they are all different takes on peter and spidey but they are their own thing and i respect that. dont know people hate andrews spidey, this was the most comic accurate portrayal of spidey.
What I love about the movie is the dark aesthetic, it isnt a normal super hero movie, its up close and personal and we get to see the dark sides of being a hero and what it takes.
If anyone noticed, he also moves completely different, than any other Spider-Man. He moves like an actual Spider and has the agility of a Spider.
Gwens death and Garfield’s reaction are so realistic, no cheesy final words after snapping her back or anything it’s just raw
Peter being a douchbag is actually the more accurate take, in the comics Peter used his powers for fame and became an arrogant movie star and he did mess with flash at times the way Andrew did, this is still canon but just isn’t talked about very much but in the ultimate comics he was douch before uncle Ben as well, the only thing that really is new about Andrew is the cool hipster vibe
Everyone talks about his performance in No Way Home, but his performance in his own movies completely trumps that, everyone needs to rewatch those movies
This has aged brilliantly
I read the title: I liked and subscribed no doubt
You're 100% on point. Tobey's Spider-Man is like the character in the pages come to life, but Garfield's is easily the most real (Holland is in a weird gray area I'm not a huge fan of). Fun fact, the skateboard was an additional feature to andrew’s peter parker character so that when peter becomes spider-man, he wouldn’t be terrified of web swinging!
another fun fact! being cool or cocky or arrogant really doesnt define whether you’re a nerd or not. its far more realistic this way. andrew’s peter is still a lonely nerd despite his cooler characteristics.

In the comics peter actually becomes more confident and does become somewhat a douchbag when he first gets his powers i dont get why people say its different and its a bad change when in reality its closer to the comics then you think
Wow this is a great video, you are HUGELY underrated. Great job!
andrew’s peter parker went through endless torment. his parents dying, uncle ben dying, the captain dying, gwen dying.

The Amazing Spider-Man is underrated.
I often see people talking about how “cool” Andrew’s Peter was and how he wasn’t “nerdy” enough, but I feel like he was still an awkward, social outcast and a bit of a loser. A girl approached him and he was starstruck, he got beat up by Flash for trying to defend a kid. I think some of y’all might be a little TOO nerdy.
