I don't get why people immediately assume that Disney just makes movies that are lighthearted. Disney has many subsidiaries that make films, many of those whom you have watched such as Marvel. The president of Marvel just saw a formula that worked and kept using it during the origins of Marvel films. You have also the issue of Sony actually almost destroying Spiderman with The Amazing Spiderman and the firing of Andrew Garfield... The MCU saved Spiderman films and brought him back again to the big screen.
I hate it when people say Sam Raimi's Spider man doesn't hold up because of the CGI argument.... I mean can we please judge things from a character writing point of view? Tobi's Spider man was personal and allot of great life lessons as well. people need to focus on character writing more then CGI. Because effects isn't what's important here.
In short, Peter Parker is supposed to have the worst luck in his life. His story is how he repeatedly gets up when everything in his life knocks him down. Tom Holland's Peter Parker is just... fine. No matter what happens, things just work out for him
@@Keizi I'm saying his acting is terrible. Or the material given to him is terrible. Or both. Either way his performance as Peter Parker/Spidey is highly overrated and he's by far the worst one yet behind Tobey and Andrew

This is exactly why I dislike the MCU Spider-Man, you put it perfectly. He has no struggles, no problems to overcome. Which is integral to Spidey as a character. I don't know how many times I've tried to explain this to my friends, and they just don't get it. They think he's 'perfect' which is exactly my problem, glad to see I'm not the only one.
The best things about each Spiderman adaptations: 1. Sam Raimi: comic accurate, relatable, thought the audiences life lessons, great villains, best portrayal of classic peter parker. 2. Marc Webb: more grounded and realistic, have the better cinematography, an accurate portrayal of a modern peter parker. 3. Jon Watts: peter parker are actually played by young actor, vulture is a good villain and yeah.....
@@comebacksarecool2834 yeah, that's what marvel does, it always takes the safe route, no risks, no Actual Dark Dead ends for Characters, that's why i love Infinity War so much, because for the first time in the world they actually bothered to come up with a dark ending
imo, homecoming should have been about Peter having to learn not to idolize people, after seeing how Tony ruined Vulture & co's lives causing them to lead a life of crime, Peter should have stopped worshiping Tony. It also just feels weird to have Marvel's working class hero defend the rich.

I agree not a big Tom Holland fan although he’s a great actor and has the funniest quips he doesn’t feel like he embodies the saying “With great power comes great responsibility.”
Tom is great but i just dont like a little kid spiderman but i think i have this opinion on spiderman because im used to late 20s men playing spiderman. But yeh i prefer Andrew out of the 3 because hes the perfect balance for a man/boy. Brillaint video tho you should make on other peoples opinion on the spidermen 🙂.
I had a lot of problems with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and this video perfectly summed up why. Also I’m glad I found others who also find Andrew Garfield to be their favorite Spider-Man.
Andrew: Couldn’t save the girl Tobey: Stopped a moving train, saves the city three times and gets the girl U have him behind Andrew just a little bit?????
I sat and watched all the Spiderman from before Tom Holland, I lasted about 50 minutes into Tom Hollands version. For me I think Tom Hollands Spider-Man is far too childish, it's almost like watching a Nickelodeon cartoon with far too much humour thrown in which I don't think is particularly funny. For me Andrew Garfield's version was the best, I always liked how dark the older versions got but it never got too dark there was always some humour in it but never enough to make it seem like you were watching some cheesy comedy which is how I feel about the new movies.
This video came out way before no way home and I think that that movie solves alot of the issues such as consequences, him having real problems and that matureness that we saw from Tobey and andrew
@Erik Kemeey bro im telling you its happened multiple times and also consequences are when you do an action commonly bad and then because of that action something bad might happen in example the consequence lets say I did bad on my math test I got an f my consequence would be a lower grade in that class and a whooping from my parents
@Erik Kemeey liz still forgave peter sure they aren't together but still she didn't even think anything about it mysterious revenge was solved in no way home and no way home has consequences for no but are going to be immediately fixed in the next movie somehow I mean he's done it in every other movie and well can you blame me everything has been fixed in your points nothing carried on
@Erik Kemeey "her and Peter's relationship?" Lol they never had a relationship in the first place. They only went to Homecoming together, where Peter immediately abandoned her.
i wish andrew got the treatment he deserved. The first tasm wansnt bad, just rushing the lizard, which we saw through deleted scenes that it was fleshed out. And the second was a mess, we shouldve focused on harry without him being a goblin, that couldve been the third movie, but for electro it worked with making us relate to max, its just the crappy sony board who put unnecessary pressure on web.
honestly all of peters friends should have survived the snap. that way peter could find a new best friend (harry osborn), betty could start working at the daily bugle, and we could finally get the real MJ: Mary Jane, not miChELLe jOnEs

I definitely agree that Spider-Man has literally zero responsibilities and always gets his way in the end. I also like your Skrull theory on how Peter is going to convince people he’s not Spider-Man.
@@fritz5940 Literally .. and the whole argument about how he has zero responsibility’s and the avengers always save him.. they like cancel eachother out bc being an avenger gives him more responsibility like going to fucking space!
I 100% agree with you, I hate how spiderman was created to be the next iron man which doesn't fit his character, I hate Peter is happy to be spiderman when in reality being spiderman is extremely stressful, its perfect in spiderman 2 and in amazing spiderman 2, both of those movies show the hardship of being spiderman, tobey's character loses time for everyone and starts to lose his powers, Andrew's shows how guilty he feels about going back on Gwen's dad's promise and how he can't be with her, but tom he can get the girl and be forgiven by her and get away with being spiderman all the time with a cool suit given to him by a billionaire, to me that doesnt sound like spidrman
now tom spiderman is actually just spiderman. he is no longer the iron boy with iron costume. nobody knows him, no mj, no happy no aunt may. Just him and the suit he made, I think its a great start
Well, considering the events on nwh, I’m sure your view on tom’s Peter will change. At least compared to the one in this video. I agree that majority of the things Tom hollands peter did in the last movies was little to no consequence. But hopefully mcu will take the opportunity they have given themselves in nwh and give Peter the true friendly neighborhood Spider-Man he was meant to be.
In my opinion, Stark and Parker should have been a scene where they each make his suit, so that Parker can put and remove things from it. I really love Homecoming, and one of those things i love is the comedic suit, but it is also one of the worst things from it. And Parker in this world is just a high schooler, and the high schooler Parker is just boring except for The Spectacular Spider-Man
Maybe in the "film by Peter Parker" they're can be a scene like FFH where the two builds a suit together, so that Peter Parker actually designs the og style.
I think the whole point of this trilogy was more his growth into Spider-Man. People are viewing it from the lens of an already completed development, and when you do that then you can't really appreciate them. However, they're meant to show him going away from completely relying on stark suits and becoming his own man, his own spiderman. And with the ending of No Way Home, we see him finally reaching the climax of his story arc. He's spiderman now, he's going to be more responsible with his identity, he's going to be more responsible with those he chooses to be with later, and he's going to finally understand what it means to be THE Spider-Man. I get it, people don't like the movies, but in all honesty, after No Way Home I think that this is the best trilogy we've gotten yet for any superhero. However, they still aren't my favourite.
@@avriel6903 this exactly. i thought Tom's spiderman has become one in FFH thus i didnt like it cause that is not spiderman. after NWH, it changed the way i see this films. the whole trilogy was his Origin story imo. it was actually a great journey into discovering himself to accepting responsibility and into being a hero.
@@JyanDagdagan Exactly, and they even did it visually! Every suit was him finding himself, every suit was him relying a little less on stark technology, and look at where it put him now! Right back onto the original suit from many moons ago.
Finally... 1. Tony is his dad that makes everything for him. 2. He has a whole team to protect him. 3. No swinging..just tiny houses 4. Cries when no one is around to help him. 5. He has the less responsibility than any other Spiderman. 6. He is less likely to survive in Spiderman multiverse. 7. He barely makes anything by himself 8. He is less mature than any other Spiderman. 9. Worse aunt may. And more reasons... I like tom but that's my opinions...he nailed it in civil war...he nailed it in THE IMPOSSIBLE MOVIE(2012) but there's a lot of reasons to say andrew is better than him
@@tux75 man Andrew's Spiderman even had the more better quips than Tom Holland's. And that's saying something cuz the MCU is a quipfest. Andrew kinda nails the Spiderman aspect very much
Couldn’t disagree with “cries when no one is around to help him” more. That’s the best moment of Holland’s run. Up until that point he’s been taking on petty criminals, which with his powers is easy. Everything is easier with his powers. He, a child, wants to be a superhero and deal with big bads, but he never actually has. He has the belief, up to that point, that he’s immortal. That he’ll always be fine. That’s the first time that he realises the actual peril of his chosen profession. The first time he contemplates his mortality properly. Because he’s a child. And he cries out for help like one. Then he stops. And for me, in that moment, he becomes Spider-Man. He summons the strength and courage to save himself, and that’s why he can attach himself to a space ship, or swing into whatever danger he will for however long he’s played by Holland. That was an incredible Spider-Man moment and up there with the best from Tobey and Andrew’s runs.
About point 4, I actually like that he cried when he was stuck especially with the context that he’s just starting out. Felt like a small instance of Tom’s Spider-Man actually having to work things out by himself and learn to be Spider-Man and not just Iron Man Jr.
no consequences, loses tony stark mentor, loses girlfriend first movie, reveals identity in second movie. Yeah bro no consequences, wtf do you call those then?
My problems with the home series is that the action just doesnt feel "it." In the Toby and Andrew movies, the action felt so immersive and intense. The Tom movies feel like they are trying to go too fast and use too many really wide shots when they could slow it down and highlight some of the cool moments within the action.
i think no way home fixes the issue like obviously this vid was made before now ay home was released but if u watch no way home the mcu aka tom Hollands Spiderman is fixed it also showed us how much has peter parker matured
After watching no way home it all makes so much sense. He's slowly shaping into the best spiderman! And they did so many amazing things that made me love this spiderman. I don't wanna say much but he actually has consequences.
another thing that always gets me about MCU spidey is that, yeah, while veteran fans know spider-man's backstory, most new fans don't. there are a lot of people who only know MCU spidey's character and don't have the context of prior movies to fall back on

Wow, just wow, it's your fourth video, and your quality is soo good, i got goosebumps on your video AGAIN. Please keep up the good work, you're doing an amazing job. Oh and btw Andrew is my favorite Spidey too :D
Personally, Tom Holland isn't my least favourite, that's Tobey (I have a bunch of issues with his version lol), but Andrew is my favourite (like you), which sadly makes Tom the awkward middle child of the three in terms of my preference. My main issue with Toms' Spidey is how they glossed over Aunt May discovering his identity, which should have added some serious drama into these movies. That's what I think is missing with these movies; the dark, dramatic moments and tragic consequences of Peters' life that are barely in these two films, unlike the last two takes on the character.
thank you so much for this. i was so disappointed with both of these spiderman movies. i felt like i was going insane when people said they were better than tobeys and andrews.... the latest spider did 100% make up for them lets hope there is more to come with the new and improved story line.
Tobeys Spiderman is better because he had alot of other problems like Job, career, aunt Mays health and safety while still wearing the suit and saving strangers. While this Spidermans biggest problem is probably writing History essay
after seeing no way home, i feel all these videos should kinda take back what they say as its meant to be like that, like peter gets told what to do and given everything, but now after meeting the other spider men he realises he cant depend on anyone else and he has to figure it all out by himself. its how they wanted to end the first trilogy
Have not seen it. With your explanation i am sure i don't want to see it now. He has to be told again how Spiderman is supposed to be, think for himself, and do things by himself? Why would he now listen? Glad you liked the NWH film but i have already given up on this version of Spiderman.
No Way Home being Tom's true origin story changed a lot of how i see him as Spider man. i didnt like his origin from being scouted to be part of the avengers and him wanting to be like iron man, then losing his mentor (w/c i thought was equivalent to losing uncle ben) and yet his Spidey in FFH is far from the spidey we know.. sooo self-centered and irresponsible. the fact we're just starting and w/ how no way home went, im seeing a new light with Tom's character.
@@MrKongpvu you could say that No Way Home is his Origin story into becoming Spider Man. the rest of his films was just a warm up or smtng getting to know himself. he wasnt spiderman in these films, he is just starting imo.
they figured damage control and tons of nostalgia was the best way to go...and I have to say, also being a doctot strange fan, I'm glad they did, I wouldn't have even bothered after far from home otherwise, homecoming was ok and I only got through it because of Michael Keaton as the vulture.Far from home became background noise it was so cringey.
Yk what gives me a headache. As someone who is a huge Spider-Man fan. Like. All or anything including Spider-Man in comics. Every film including Spider-Man. Like big fan. You all want a 16-17 year old to suffer and lose everything for what exactly? 616 universe Peter didn’t start loosing things until he was an adult. At the time of his adolescence he only had Ben gone. And as for the hand me downs and gifts? You guys serious? F4, X-men, and even tony stark. Have given Peter suits to help him out. Dude ever since the 2010’s, 9/10 if Peter has a suit it’s decked out with tech. I’d very much rather people just say “I don’t like the adaptations from other stories they’re tryna do with tom” instead of “ToM bAd🤣” he isn’t going to have a lot of responsibilities to take care of in a established universe where gods hold people up in towns cuz they were sad about their robot baby daddy dying.
MCU Spider-Man is the worst teenage version of the character i've ever seen, the Ultimate Spider-Man comics and Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon versions makes Tom Holland look like a fucking joke.
I think this third movie fixes a lot of these issues,, not perfect but the third movie ends is like how it kicks off the other two spider mans, with absolutely nothing and the pain of being spider man
Some MCU higher ups need to get their eyes on this video! He’s missing the human element!!! Rami captured the fact that to be Spider-Man is like a juggling act that sometimes, doesn’t always go your way but “with great power comes great responsibility” and being a hero means you can’t give up, you gotta find a way and that’s just what he did!
That's one huge things i loved about Andrew Garfields spiderman, how he actually looks hurt and beat, and how his aunt actually cares, not everything being okay after things go wrong
I think my biggest problem is that it's *another* origin story. For fucks sake how many times has this character been retconned? I'm gonna be an old man and they're *still* gonna be redoing it over and over again. This is why Insomniac's Spider-Man is my personal favorite. Because he's been SM for 8ish years and he's already learned all the lessons that are crucial to the Spiderperson identity, such as responsibility and not being able to save everyone.
A lot of Holland’s fans have never picked up a Spider-Man comic and can never bring up a good argument other than using “nostalgia” as a insult to get their point across
Mate you don’t need to pick up a comic to know how Spider-Man is I am a Tom Holland fan yes I grew up with tobey maguire as my favourite Spider-Man I’ve watched every conceivable Spider-Man show and I know how Spider-Man acts also recently watched every Spider-Man film for no way home including the ones not in the mcu and we’re not dumb stop using comics as a reason when it doesnt take hours maybe weeks of reading to understand Spider-Man
Reminds me about the bank scene . When it was reported on tv aunt may said to Peter to turn 180 degrees and run (Homecoming). And now in far from home she s happy ?????
Literally the entire plot of Far From Home is the responsibility of being Spiderman conflicting with his normal life. I’m not sure I understand this take. Lol
The problem is consequences. Peter parker is a guy whose life sucks and still chooses to be Spiderman, who doesn't fight the villain but tries to save them. Tom Holland's Ironboy is nothing like that. There's a difference. Raimi captured it the best in my opinion.
@@physicsrox184 Big disagree. He had one chance to change his life around and not be seen as a loser anymore but instead decided to go after some villains in homecoming.
SPOILER ALERT If u haven't yet watched spiderman no way home DO NOT read more In No way home there are consequences to be fair. I think they were leading up to it intentionally. With aunt may dying and him having to wipe Peter Parker from everybody's memory, therefore losing everybody he loved they did fix this problem showing that Spidermans life is difficult
I actually find that this version of Peter is good, especially in this context. The Peter we know and love is kind-hearted, has good intentions in mind like the Tobey Maguire films, and tries to do the right thing. But that contradicts what a teenager is which is stupid, arrogant, and irresponsible, like the Andrew Garfield version. So to have a Peter have both qualities fused together is what makes this film more realistic and relatable for young adults (and mostly teenagers since we meet Peter before he can legally get a job). We see Peter wanting to do the right thing, however, since he isn't mature and lacks experience, he will mess up sometimes because he is a human being. In FFH we get to see more of this, and the fact that he fought Thanos, watched his mentor die in front of him (again), and is the only confirmed character to feel any pain during the Decimation. Which results in Peter dealing with PTSD. PTSD can often be described as an internal or mental wound. It messes with people's heads it makes them act irrationally. And given that Peter is a hormonal irresponsible teenager (like every teenager on Earth) having PTSD added to that isn't going to end well. Especially since he has no one to talk to in terms of finding someone he can relate to help him cope with his trauma. He clearly doesn't want everyone to worry about him, so he pretends that everything is alright, he holds in his emotions (like every teenager on Earth) and tries to move on. However, everyone has a breaking point. And Peter is unable to hold in his stress any longer and lets it all out when he's talking with Happy. But happy is able to remind him that Stark was also imperfect, but he learned and raised up to save everyone. So Peter gets the confidence to slowly become his own hero. Although he wants to become his own man, the teachings that Tony and ben have given him will always be a part of him, because well both are important characters in his life and he can't just forget them. Peter grew up in a world full of superheroes. He was only a child when Tony saved him in Iron Man 2. So naturally, like every normal kid, he wants to be like his heroes, or in this case, the man who saved his life (I'm sure it's safe to assume that Ben used this as a teaching tool for the "great power comes great responsibility" stuff). So when Peter gets his powers and becomes Spider-man, obviously he is going to try to be an Avenger, because he sees it as the ultimate way to help people. but after a while, he learns the importance of finding your own way to help people. Overall, Peter's MCU represents the story of us growing up. We want to be like someone else and strive for success in someone else's footsteps at some point in our lives. However, there is a time in our life where we must grow and become our own person. I like how the films acknowledge that teenagers are fucking morons. Maguire's Peter didn't have any problems with being Spider-man aside from his personal life taking a hit. The only villains he was responsible for was New Goblin and Venom. But Maguire's Peter represents growing up as an adult, dealing with rent, trying to maintain a social life, that type of shit. The films are also a clear example of how similar Tony and Peter are in reality. i mean we did get a TV series with Tony in high school so I think the similarities are kind of obvious. And even though there are flaws with this Peter, remember that nothing is perfect, but at least I hope some of you can understand and maybe respect this version of Peter.
I agree with you so much. I don’t think Tom Holland’s Spider-man was written perfectly, it could have been better. Then again it could’ve been worse, like almost everything that exists in the world. I personally think my view of the “best Spider-man” argument is quite interesting. You see, I was always in love with Tobey’s portrayal of the web slinger, I grew up watching him on screen and wishing to be like him. The main plot of the first two movies of his trilogy were great, the third one felt like too much in my opinion, but it was still amazing. On the other hand, Tom Holland’s Spider-man was better in my opinion, but the main plot was a little bit underwhelming but it was still much enjoyable. So basically, I like Tobey’s “story”. And I like Tom’s “Spider-man” (I hope that made sense) And I know I’m gonna get some hate from this, but I actually didn’t really enjoy Andrew’s take on the character. It felt too dark, and his “quippy” lines felt a little bit more annoying than funny in my opinion. Still, he was great but could’ve been A LOT better.
@@LionKing-ui9po I disagree, Spider Man 3 is the best film ever and deserves to win best picture, but they disqualified it from the oscars to give everyone a fighting chance
@@spideygamer8896 I just feel like the Venom arc was too forced and Pater Parker’s symbiote story could have been executed better. Still, it was a great movie.
What i hate about Tom Holland's Spider-Man is that he always takes off his mask like what's the point of having a Secret identity to protect the one's you love, if your just gonna show your whole face and tell your real full name to the enemy im talking about Homecoming and Far from Home. Enemy's that know Spider-Man's Secret Identity in the MCU: •Vulture •Scorpion •Mysterio •John Jonah Jameson Jr.
Completely agree. I felt that it got more like a Disney show sim com. I need more grit more roughness and action. I think he hasn’t lost anything throughout the movies making him feel like a cartoon. Feels extremely PG-13.
This just is wanting unnecessary conflict. Why would Liz be mad her dad went to jail and she's moving, she has bigger problems than a missed date. We didn't need fighting for the girl scene because that's not part of his arc, his arc is choosing the girl he's liked for probably a long time or being spiderman and he chooses spider-man. Aunt may not being worried is a reflection of her character now. It's better to support something inevitable than to try and stop it and lose him. Along with if she stops him from being spider-man she's responsible for everyone he couldn't save. As for the snap, it's a 50\50 chance and that's pretty ok luck. Next the glasses. The glasses were given to him as a way of tony saying be the next iron man and but he doesn't feel like he can be that he has all of this pressure so he gives it to someone who he thinks can be that. The arc is running away from responsibility and dealing with death. He feels that tony gave him a responsibility to be him and be better than him and Peter doesn't want to and passes the responsibility off to Mysterio and then in the end he takes responsibility back after realizing only he can be that for people. As for Mj why does he need to fight and work hard to get the girl? They had chemistry and did a lot together it would make sense if they liked each other. What your asking for would make it worse because it would break the arcs and stop the lessons. This is ignoring the fact that he has always had consequences like losing the suit, dieing, losing the girl he likes, dealing with his home and spiderman life, being and so much more. This video is just wrong and that's all I have left to say.
Tom Holland Spider-Man movies are the worst. They have no rewatchability. Hell they're hard enough watching one time. Obviously no way home is the only exception because Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield make it worthwhile
There’re 2 kinds of people in this world. Those who hate Tom Holland and those who love Tom Holland. I’m not of this world, I think he’s great, but the writers aren’t sure how to make him unique after already having 2 other Spider-Men within the past 20 or so years. In addition to that, I don’t feel like they let him be his own hero. They also make some strange decisions (like having EDITH in Far From Home, or May not caring about him being Spider-Man).
The reason Tom Holland spiderman is not loved like the raimi series is becuse he dosent do the writing of if spiderman has to win then peter parker has to lose someone the raimi series did that but in tom Holland didn't becuse of how the directors want him to be they wrote him in a different way and a new take since people are gonna get bored by the time Peter always has consequences it isn't necessary but maybe In spiderman no way home may fix him
I’ve always had something against this Version of Spider-Man but I can never put my finger on it this video basically said everything that was on my mind but I cannot put into words I 100% agree with this
Tbh I agree with all of your points one of my personal reasons I don't like this version is that he doesn't seem to become Spiderman due to uncle Ben , he seems to push himself to be Spiderman because he wants to look good Infront of the other heroes , and never even mentioning uncle Ben proves this point. The only Easter egg towards him were his initials on the suit case
How interesting would it have been if Liz didn't disappear after Homecoming. Imagine that she survives the snap, and her life moves on, and Peter's highschool crush has now moved on, maybe even gotten married, and had a kid. That would be crushing for him, and it would be a decent catalyst for the next romance for him.
Love your channel bro like ur not one of those annoying ass extremely pet peevey reviewers. U actually think realistically about movies and stuff. Super underrated channel
I feel like Tom Hollands spider-man was more targetted against younger audience who don't really get the plot, since its more comical and action then a complete storyline
This video makes sense. However, Tom Hollands Spiderman is a take on him that Is less serious and more crowd pleasing. It tries to encompass the fun and witt of the character. Also it needs to be taken into account that this is a younger spiderman and he has not faced the big problems in his future yet. I still liked the Tom movies but I agree with this video and do want to see him overcome adversity more.

Why cant peter be happy to be spider man its even like that in the comics(somewhat)
After seeing no way home, I think marvel understood exactly what you were talking about and I couldn’t be happier about the future for Tom’s spidey
Growing up and Spiderman being my favorite hero, "Tom Holland's Spiderman" is the list relatable for me
now tom spiderman is actually just spiderman. he is no longer the iron boy with iron costume. nobody knows him, no mj, no happy no aunt may.
So….after No Way Home, how much of this has changed?
In my opinion, Stark and Parker should have been a scene where they each make his suit, so that Parker can put and remove things from it. I really love Homecoming, and one of those things i love is the comedic suit, but it is also one of the worst things from it. And Parker in this world is just a high schooler, and the high schooler Parker is just boring except for The Spectacular Spider-Man
Maybe in the "film by Peter Parker" they're can be a scene like FFH where the two builds a suit together, so that Peter Parker actually designs the og style.
High schooler peter is boring do these people even know what they’re saying
Tom Holland is like a kid Spider-Man tbh
And andrew Garfield is the best in my opinion
I like Andrew 2
I think NWH solved most of this issues, now he has the potential of becoming the best spiderman!

@@tux75 no stfu
!SPOILERS!
I guess that NWH fixed him, he got consequences of his actions, May died, he had no tech suit, he has nothing really.
I don't know why. But I can't take Tom Hollands spyder man seriously
no consequences, loses tony stark mentor, loses girlfriend first movie, reveals identity in second movie.

Now that I think about it, why didn't they use skrulls instead of a spell? And where was EDITH?
I think my biggest problem is that it's *another* origin story. For fucks sake how many times has this character been retconned? I'm gonna be an old man and they're *still* gonna be redoing it over and over again. This is why Insomniac's Spider-Man is my personal favorite. Because he's been SM for 8ish years and he's already learned all the lessons that are crucial to the Spiderperson identity, such as responsibility and not being able to save everyone.

Ok well looking back at it now, he lost his ant may, his girlfriend, his friend in no way home, they did a great job there
Tom holland is my favorite spiderman
I like him to
Imo he sucks
@@bbq6867 i think hes awsome
@@BobbyJr_ you missed a lot. Trust me watch those 2 movies they are worth the time
i feel like he is the best one out of all of them
A lot of Holland’s fans have never picked up a Spider-Man comic and can never bring up a good argument other than using “nostalgia” as a insult to get their point across
Mate you don’t need to pick up a comic to know how Spider-Man is I am a Tom Holland fan yes I grew up with tobey maguire as my favourite Spider-Man I’ve watched every conceivable Spider-Man show and I know how Spider-Man acts also recently watched every Spider-Man film for no way home including the ones not in the mcu and we’re not dumb stop using comics as a reason when it doesnt take hours maybe weeks of reading to understand Spider-Man
I agree but at least they addressed this in No Way Home.
Excelsior
Reminds me about the bank scene . When it was reported on tv aunt may said to Peter to turn 180 degrees and run (Homecoming). And now in far from home she s happy ?????
Literally the entire plot of Far From
Home is the responsibility of being Spiderman conflicting with his normal life. I’m not sure I understand this take. Lol
i never do either, dude literally mentioned he was confused ab peter ditching liz at the dance, forgetting completely about responsibility
@@physicsrox184 Also, Peter saved vulture, that’s such a bad take.
@@John-xf7ft that versus his conflicts in raimi trilogy.
His so called sacrifices in these movies are childish. And comes with zero weight.
SPOILER ALERT
If u haven't yet watched spiderman no way home DO NOT read more
In No way home there are consequences to be fair.
Even tho the creator of the video put a heart in your comment.I think he won't change his mind
@@andruspolanco6935 Okay
What i hate about Tom Holland's Spider-Man is that he always takes off his mask like what's the point of having a Secret identity to protect the one's you love, if your just gonna show your whole face and tell your real full name to the enemy im talking about Homecoming and Far from Home.
Enemy's that know Spider-Man's Secret Identity in the MCU:
•Vulture
•Scorpion
•Mysterio
•John Jonah Jameson Jr.
Great video dude! Totally agree and it really bugs me how Aunt May doesn't seem to care about him being Spiderman? 🤣
Tom Holland Spider-Man movies are the worst. They have no rewatchability. Hell they're hard enough watching one time. Obviously no way home is the only exception because Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield make it worthwhile
this format and essay is great. it feels like im watching a 100k youtuber. definitely subbing and watching more from you
There’re 2 kinds of people in this world.
Ive been waiting for years for someone to talk about this issue.
Your videos are great keep on going!👍
Love the spectacular Spider-Man theme in the background!!! Such an underrated show
How interesting would it have been if Liz didn't disappear after Homecoming.
I guess after NWH you gonna have to take that back about TH’s spider man doesn’t face consequences
If Andrew Garfields version is ur favorite Spider-Man this entire video does not matter
Toby has many memes also very crowd pleasing lol 😂
Younger and not faced problems yet?
He had to fight his girlfriends Dad, find out he is more than the suit, fight with the Avengers, He died, Came back, help saved the Universe, and watched his Idol/Mentor die! He still doesn't know why being Spiderman is important and why Tony chose him? If that isn't enough experience for guy to grow up quick and become who he should be then nothing will. Tell me what to do Tom Holland Spiderman sucks!!!
Now 1 Year Later Peter Parker Lost Everything
He clings to Tony Stark so much I don't doubt he'll mention him at least 3 times in no way home
I wonder how his opinion changed after No Way Home. Hope you come back with a video saying how you feel now
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 IS the best live spider man movie EVER
