I dont have words… It really touched my heart. I love the way you focus on Sara’s feelings. We always talk about Abraham and Isaac obedience, but Sara’s obedience is very touching. Thank you so much! ❤️.
So happy to hear! We wanted to make sure Sarah's story was included. Though her feelings are not told in scripture, there is no question that she had as much faith and devotion as Abraham.
After Jesus was depicted as white Europeans, now Abraham and Sarah are depicted as white Europeans, even though Abraham and Sarah are Semitic Middle Easterners, so in conclusion white Europeans want to be considered superior to Semites from the Middle East!
And I like Isaac's cooperation with his dad Abraham and willingness to be being a sacrifice even though he wasn't sacrificed.
It's apparent through Issac ,prophets n kings will come forth ......for covenant between Abraham n Yahweh was through issac n not Ishmael as many claims ....if so Hagar wld be legally Abraham's wife....cos illegal she left with Ishmael

Genesis 6 says ; he angel of the LORD also said to her: "You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.

I broke when God provided the ram for the sacrifice, symbolic representation of Yeshua as the ultimate sacrifice for the sin of the world.
I never pictured how troubled Sarah and Abraham would have been sacrificing their only son born after the long waiting phase.

The whole story of Abraham is my favorite. From the time he left Ur and got to the land of Canaan he was faithful, but still made mistakes, yet God said, he was "the friend of God" in the Bible. How incredible!
If you don't have it already, there is a book called, 'Patriarchs and Prophets', by Ellen G. White. It has the story of Abraham using several chapters. It's absolutely captivating.
Abraham didn't tell Sarah though. He had to have compassion for her heart and her faith or growth of such. She is mentioned in Hebrews 11 though, which is pretty telling in itself.
A film that strengthens our faith. Seeing Abraham's faith, he really cried.🙏🙏🙏

When Abraham said "God will provide Himself for a Burnt Offering," he was actually prophecying Jesus' Death in the same location approximately 2,000 years from the binding of Isaac. Thank you for the concise message in this film... I felt the Holy Spirit prick my spirit as I watched this film... Thank you so much...
Wow, I have never heard that before or understood that comment to mean Christ. I also have never heard that this was the same location as Jesus' death. That is like, wow. "God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering." I just always thought he was telling that to Isaac because he was going to be the offering. Thanks-for that information and new insight.

This was beautifully written. If it is alright, I would just like to add that the holy couple might actually be Jacob and Leah, because it is Leah who God saw was unloved by her husband, and God blessed her with six sons, one of which was Judah - the ancestor of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.

I love how this story has so much emotion with so little words. I can see the pain and love the Abrahan and Issac had in the moment at the alter. All of the actors did an excellent job bring to life this story.
