I was lucky enough to be a part of filming that week, and it was truly an amazing experience. The final product turned out even better than I could have expected. Most talented, and giving, television crew out that there 🙏🏼 Oh, and the cast did alright too I guess 💁🏻♀️
It was actually the echo. Jesus picked a spot to preach from. Such spot, that his words would echo through the valley. You can go to Jerusalem on a tour to see this spot in real life, the guide would explain it better than I can.
This is by far the best depiction of Jesus. He was without sin, and he was divine. But he was also human, he had emotions, he laughed and cried, made a few jokes. That’s whole point of Jesus. Not a one dimensional savior but God in human form.

This scene makes me wonder how the disciples could have doubt that Jesus wouldn't take care of everything with all they witnessed so far. Then I search myself and wonder how many times I doubted or didn't fully trust that my 'issues' were going to be taken care of by Jesus. Wow. I know God and Jesus are with me always, will take care of me, and I will never be forsaken. But I am like the disciples, look for other solutions when all I need to do is look UP and put my trust in The Lord ❤🙏🕊
They doubted but in the end, they trusted and obeyed. It's all about what choice you make. God knows that we have doubts, but he is bigger than those doubts.

Fun fact i was actually their among all the people, we also did the building of the set for season 3, the set still stands in midlothian texas, so much fun had being their and working with the directors and all the staff, its been 1 year since i was their that we finished

In this scene, they chose to have somebody echo what Jesus was saying so the people in the back could hear too. You can hear this second voice repeating Jesus’ words in the beginning of this scene/sermon.
We are in a time where evil doesn't even try to hide anymore. Its so awesome and touching to see the Chosen bringing the bible to life and bring Gods word to others. It will only make people want to know more. 🙏✝
“He gave us more than we need.” This is a compelling scene, showing Jesus as Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord Who provides and His sustenance in our needs, He is more than enough. God is really using this series, The Chosen, to draw people closer to the Bible itself!!!

Through God's self sacrifice and resurrection (Death has no power over God he is life) we can also live too and escape being found guilty by the perfect judge for breaking God's law. It's just a leap of faith in Him whom God has sent for us.
I teared up really hard at the end of this video. Because when it started showing views of the crowd, all of them from different races and creeds, all of them listening to and honoring Jesus, all of the people who listened to Jesus being equipped with everything they need to help others, and everyone being loved and cared for by Jesus I just said to myself...this right here...this is what the New Heaven and New Earth will be like. I used to believe in this and want this but as I grew older I realized that in this world a friend to all is a friend to none, sadly. This wouldn't work. People would fight over who gets the head and who gets the tail and who gets the filét. And all races and creeds are different because they adapted to different things. The moment they became one they would start to divide again.

Although I agree by God's grace and mercy, miracles do and still happen, I believe that only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, being Holy Ghost filled and lead, and Born Again are the children of God or Sons of God. Essentially, not everyone is a child of God. Although the Lord created everything and everyone, it is only in being Born Again and having the faith in God/Jesus alone and obedience to Him and believing He is God in the flesh that separates us from those who do not believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation, the truth and the life (John 14:6) John 8:36-47 explains it. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill Me, because my word hath no place in you. 38 I speak that which I have seen with MY Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with YOUR father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. He did not promise heaven here, in fact Jesus warns us about bones and hearts breaking here but says fear not ive overcome the world. Meaning when this world fails us, he still will make a way and rescue us from all circumstances.

I was always questioning how did Jesus spoke to five thousand people with no microphone but then I always responded myself, he was able to feed them with just two fishes and five loaves, how much more just magnifying his voice to every ear.
In this scene, they chose to have another person echo what Jesus was saying for the people in the back to hear. You can hear this other voice in the background at the beginning of the scene/sermon.
Depending on the location, he was able to project his voice with natural acoustics if that makes sense. One account states he spoke to a crowd while he was on a boat, so the water would have helped projecting his voice
I'm teary eyed while watching them, Imagine the pressure to Jesus' disciples knowing that the crowd needed enough food but finding just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. But God Jesus knows the moment, He prayed and boom: What a Miracle!!! Praise Jesus😊➕🙌🔥🎉:

exactly, I feel like we as a people tend to mystify him and forget that he was also human just like we were, he too was born into this world and had a mother, needed food, experienced pain, etc. He is so incredibly real and loving in this show, exactly how I feel he is when I am praying. What a beautiful depiction.

I was crying even before he multiplied the bread... bec His Spirit spoke to me so clearly .... what little we have becomes more when given in faith to God.... Lord Jesus thank u!! Thank u for being our provider... im at the point in mu life were there never seems to be enough to last me until the next paycheck... but the answer is simple - I have not given what little I have for the Lord...

How wonderful that you were able to be in this beautiful scene with Jesus! I am so proud for you! I got to be in New Orleans when Pope St. John Paul II celebrated our open air Mass. It began raining torrents before the Mass started and with the thousands of souls there from every nationality and language, those in wheel chairs, the college kids, the religious and people of all faiths, I know! Everyone was gentle, kind, getting along! It felt to me like a rehearsal for the Last Day when all of us will stand before the Lord and be invited into His Kingdom! I never forgot that experience as I know you will never forget this one, either!

I've been wanting someone to do this for the story of Jesus. Other film makers always focus on the death of Jesus and his sufferings. And Not his life or teachings and the miracles he performed. This show has amazingly captured how we imagined Jesus and his disciples to be from what we learned from the scriptures. This is definitely the best outcome, as it connects us more with why Jesus is so important to our daily lives.. I really hope from what I read that the creator of this series is hoping to spin-off and make more shows and movies.. I'm ready for the BCU
A famous story but seeing it come to life is amazing. Knowing God can work with the smallest things is a great reminder of what all He can do with what we give Him. Well done Chosen!!!

I'm sure it sounded silly in the disciples ears when He told them to group them into fifties, but when they obey they marveled at the results. I like this short scene. Very educative.
But this 'show' has helped a lot of people in their journey. It has pointed people to Christ. Christ said that when He is lifted high, He will draw all men to Himself. This show lifts Him high. "He who is not against us is for us"

A few months ago i was so worried about my financial condition & my family's future and suddenly Lord gave me a vision where Him and I was sitting under a tree and he opened a bundle handkerchief and took out a loaf of bread & was giving it to me. It was his way of saying that do not be scared for i will provide for you. I have never worried ever since & he has always provided when needed❤
So thankful for this anointed series... Dallas Jenkins and all the cast... I was in a lukewarm complacent place and then started watching this series (just discovered it last month! what rock was I living under?!) and I felt God wooing me back to Him. I'm so happy to hear I'm not the only one returning to our First Love Yeshua... many prodigals are returning to the Father❤

The feeding of the 5k, just like the woman with the issue of blood and daughter of Jarius have always been the accounts that absolutely caused wonder and worship. And im so glad to have seen all of those come to life through The Chosen. Especially when theyre captured with the same wonder and awe through the people who were there. Makes me so emotional because this is the LORD in which we put our faith in. Beyond compare. Thank God for The Chosen and everyone involved that brought it all to life.

Hi Sam! I hope this helps: As I child, I was very afraid of the devil. I wouldn’t shower without a family member in the bathroom due to the fear of being left alone with the devil. I’m 19 now, and I could care less about that thing. You see, the devil only has power if you give it to him. The only one you should fear is god, not the devil. I repeat phrases like “the devil is a [insert bad word]” daily to remind myself of who the devil really is. He’s nothing when you give him nothing. That includes fear. So remind yourself this next time you fear the devil. Or don’t, and continue using energy on him and not yourself or god. I prefer the second option, personally.

When i was15 almost 16 i was watching television and suddenly the it went off and a red line started going across the screen and almost immediatly a green line right under it started and a man's voice said , " Should I ?, then a womans voice said , " I see good in him. It was actually the echo. Jesus picked a spot to preach from. Such spot, that his words would echo through the valley. You can go to Jerusalem on a tour to see this spot in real life, the guide would explain it better than I can.

This is by far the best depiction of Jesus. He was without sin, and he was divine. But he was also human, he had emotions, he laughed and cried, made a few jokes. That’s whole point of Jesus. Not a one dimensional savior but God in human form.

This scene makes me wonder how the disciples could have doubt that Jesus wouldn't take care of everything with all they witnessed so far. Then I search myself and wonder how many times I doubted or didn't fully trust that my 'issues' were going to be taken care of by Jesus. Wow. I know God and Jesus are with me always, will take care of me, and I will never be forsaken. But I am like the disciples, look for other solutions when all I need to do is look UP and put my trust in The Lord ❤🙏🕊

I used to believe in this and want this but as I grew older I realized that in this world a friend to all is a friend to none, sadly. This wouldn't work. People would fight over who gets the head and who gets the tail and who gets the filét. And all races and creeds are different because they adapted to different things. Although I agree by God's grace and mercy, miracles do and still happen, I believe that only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, being Holy Ghost filled and lead, and Born Again are the children of God or Sons of God. Essentially, not everyone is a child of God. Although the Lord created everything and everyone, it is only in being Born Again and having the faith in God/Jesus alone and obedience to Him and believing He is God in the flesh that separates us from those who do not believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation, the truth and the life (John 14:6)
John 8:36-47 explains it.

He did not promise heaven here, in fact Jesus warns us about bones and hearts breaking here but says fear not ive overcome the world. Meaning when this world fails us, he still will make a way and rescue us from all circumstances.

I was always questioning how did Jesus spoke to five thousand people with no microphone but then I always responded myself, he was able to feed them with just two fishes and five loaves, how much more just magnifying his voice to every ear.

Depending on the location, he was able to project his voice with natural acoustics if that makes sense. One account states he spoke to a crowd while he was on a boat, so the water would have helped projecting his voice

How wonderful that you were able to be in this beautiful scene with Jesus! I am so proud for you! I got to be in New Orleans when Pope St. John Paul II celebrated our open air Mass. It began raining torrents before the Mass started and with the thousands of souls there from every nationality and language, those in wheel chairs, the college kids, the religious and people of all faiths, I know! Everyone was gentle, kind, getting along! It felt to me like a rehearsal for the Last Day when all of us will stand before the Lord and be invited into His Kingdom! I never forgot that experience as I know you will never forget this one, either!

I've been wanting someone to do this for the story of Jesus. Other film makers always focus on the death of Jesus and his sufferings. And Not his life or teachings and the miracles he performed. This show has amazingly captured how we imagined Jesus and his disciples to be from what we learned from the scriptures. This is definitely the best outcome, as it connects us more with why Jesus is so important to our daily lives.. I really hope from what I read that the creator of this series is hoping to spin-off and make more shows and movies.. I'm ready for the BCU

It barely speaks about the Gospel, its more of a drama tv show
But this 'show' has helped a lot of people in their journey. It has pointed people to Christ. Christ said that when He is lifted high, He will draw all men to Himself. This show lifts Him high.

God said in Quran about Jesus and Mary (peace be upon them ):
"And [mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]."(Quran 3:42-43)
" [And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God ].
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous. She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah ; He creates what He wills.
When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. When Jesus realized they [still] did not believe, he said, ‘Who will help me in God’s cause?’ The disciples said, ‘We will be God’s helpers; we believe in God- witness our devotion to Him. Lord, we believe in what You have revealed and we follow the messenger: record us among those who bear witness [to the Truth].’
And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners. Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ."(Quran 03:42-55)
This didn’t happen in reality. You can’t miraculously multiply that food. This is a deeper spiritual story but they are literalizing it

A few months ago i was so worried about my financial condition & my family's future and suddenly Lord gave me a vision where Him and I was sitting under a tree and he opened a bundle handkerchief and took out a loaf of bread & was giving it to me. It was his way of saying that do not be scared for i will provide for you. I have never worried ever since & he has always provided when needed❤

The feeding of the 5k, just like the woman with the issue of blood and daughter of Jarius have always been the accounts that absolutely caused wonder and worship. And im so glad to have seen all of those come to life through The Chosen. Especially when theyre captured with the same wonder and awe through the people who were there. Makes me so emotional because this is the LORD in which we put our faith in. Beyond compare. Thank God for The Chosen and everyone involved that brought it all to life.

Hi Sam! I hope this helps: As I child, I was very afraid of the devil. I wouldn’t shower without a family member in the bathroom due to the fear of being left alone with the devil.
I’m 19 now, and I could care less about that thing. You see, the devil only has power if you give it to him. The only one you should fear is god, not the devil.
I repeat phrases like “the devil is a [insert bad word]” daily to remind myself of who the devil really is. He’s nothing when you give him nothing. That includes fear. So remind yourself this next time you fear the devil. Or don’t, and continue using energy on him and not yourself or god. I prefer the second option, personally.
