I just had a thought: Gail said she couldn't think of another way to say the same things over and over so that's why she decided to quit. I wonder if we could talk her out of retirement with the knowledge that online shopping means she'd have to do a LOT more work to catch people who have their credit & debit card info saved on the computer?
Interesting. I saw an interview with her a couple of years ago where she said she decided to leave her show and retire because the producers originally gave her full control of how much money each couple received. However, as the show went on, the producers started butting in and demanding she give the couples amounts she didn't agree with. Eventually, the arguments with the producers was no longer worth it, so she quit.

Their family didn't looked overjoyed at the wedding. He's a man brat. Spending all that money on stereos. Surprised Gayle didn't make him sell it. Love Gayle but I think she was soft on this couple. Their in deep debt and their challenges were to have fun.????

Everything seems to be on a "pay as you go" plan, which seemed to cause a lot of problems with their debt.
Question for Paula. If you know your common law partner is a man child and is a spender, to the point he puts himself before the needs of the children, why would you have another child with him? Did you think a fairy god mother was going to arrive and make it all better?
Because believe it or not even a full time Mom needs a few hours off here and there...to go for a haircut, to catch up on sleep, to clean the house properly, to get the groceries without worrying about a baby with you! Yep, I was a full time Mom to 4 children and appreciated some day care services sometimes !!
She's a beautiful woman and she should not have married him, sometimes love is not enough, there will be a lifetime of misery with somebody like this that can't control their spending. There's a very good chance he will fall back into his old ways for the third time.
