Redstar gets a proper burial

  • Made on Warrior Cats, Ultimate Edition. Thank you all for such a great roleplay!
Context: ThunderClan was originally founded by Smudgestar in the lobby, who was claiming it to be a "professional roleplay" where only people who fit his standards of roleplaying were allowed. They had to be very literate, and on top of that, there could not be any non-cats (even though Ultimate Edition allows non-cats). However, since there is no kick function and private roleplays cannot be enforced, I joined the roleplay anyways as a Clan fox named Redwhisker. He was pretty aggressive, constantly finding excuses to berate me, and at one point exploded over another Clan member interacting with me (because he wanted to force the entire Clan to ignore me and other foxes who joined to support me).
Then what do you know, both Smudgestar and his deputy left. I don't know if it was disconnection, ragequitting, or some other wild reason, but anyway the medicine cat chose me to be leader. There was some opposition about the realism of a fox in a Clan, no less leading it, but I turned out to be a pretty good leader (I hope) and even when others did hate on me in roleplay for being a fox, Redstar refused to hate them back and allowed them to hold different opinions than himself. He did have to exile one of them, though, after they loosed a badger in camp out of spite and to try to "prove" a point.
He eventually had a brain aneurysm (during a meeting no less), and though StarClan patched his broken blood vessels after his first life was lost, they did not clean up the blood in his brain, causing the blood to kill him over and over again until he was dead completely.
Then they brought his body out as the deputy announced his new leadership and mourned over Redstar, before about half the Clan brought him out to bury him, which is where this video picks up.
This isn't as intricate as the "Tigerstar gets a proper burial" video, as it's much less structured and much more quick, but it's still a lot more than I usually see for dead leaders. Usually they just dip their heads and the leader leaves and everyone forgets about them. But here you had people genuinely come out to say respects to Redstar, and you could even see people mourning him back at camp in chat. Kinda wild.
Anyways, sorry for making this so long lol. But it really was crazy. Burial processions are rare gems, and I'm so glad I got to experience it a second time.
