As I spent A LOT of time on Halkidiki (northern Greece, I’ve been to your neck of the woods as well) and had asked the owners of the studios-on-the-beach where I normally stayed to let me know when an apt or house came on the market. They never did and as I thought Spain would probably less chaotic, I have settled in the south of Spain. The Aegean is so more beautiful than the Mediterranean here, the greek beaches and coastline so much nicer and more interesting than here.. but, when I take my kayak onto the sea here, I always see schools of fish and am sometimes greeted by dolphins. I rarely saw fish bigger than 10 cm in the Aegean (not counting the jellyfish)
After a devastating and exhausting summer it seems that after many years we are gonna have a typical greek autumn weather. Rain, storms,and a bit chilly at nights.

Hello, been watching your videos for some time now, they are quite interesting to watch. If I may, I would suggest you to buy another used caravan and place it on property. Once you stop using it for living, you can use it for storage or as a guest house. They should be pretty cheep to buy over the winter, certainly cheaper than real good quality 4 season tent.
So many nice shots in this one. Loved the time lapses. Loved the boating, swimming, caves, & your trip. Now, that's my idea of a fun time (although, I can't imagine doing it when it's that hot--wow!). Wondering what you planted. Maybe we will see in the future.

If you come to the point of building a house, there will also be a concrete fundament required, I guess. Prepare yourself for the colder times!! How do you work/make money btw?
You may want to look into creating swales for the catchment of water. Geoff lawton and the weedy garden have some interesting videos on that. Its a wonderful way to catch all the rainfall and water your land. Good luck in your endeavour. Its a joy to hear you speak greek.good for you!
Somebody needs a gas-driven posthole digger( auger) And a conscientiousness of water. Water is not always so available that you can toss out every litle collection in the wheelbarrow or the seat of a chair, willy-nilly. It all adds up. Without a contant supply of fresh water you are sunk. 🇦🇺 🇩🇪

We follow nearbyveggies who are great gardeners in Portugal. Compose and wood chips help retain water. Also can you build a dam to harvest water. Btw you have chosen your land well. Lovely location.

Perhaps I missed this in an earlier vlog….I understand that you are out in the middle of nowhere. I’m wondering why you are putting-up a fence? Is it for the dog? Are high fences like the one you have planned customary?
Enjoyed the scenery and the water. If I were you since you like gardening I would consider building a greenhouse/car port which could be used now for your office and later as a greenhouse. A tent is so temporary and a waste of money. A greenhouse could be basic framing and converted later. One end greenhouse roof and other end office with metal roof? Love Greece and learning about it. Beautiful country. Right place for you both because you speak the language and grew up there? Easier maneuvering through bureaucracy too hopefully.
Keep going its worth it, in a piece of land l have in Greece the new neighbour The Ex Deputy Prime Minister of Greece had his Water Etc done in a Month instead of normal Greeks waiting months that happens to in the Army Etc its who you know which is bad
Some health advice- you should use coffee filters instead of a french press because you are unknowingly drinking so much unhealthy oils from the beans which should be filtered. :) Love your videos

Actually, there was a news article / study about the benefits of eating late. Eat late, get tired, sleep better. I always eat late and then in an hour or two go to bed.
People in the mediterranean eat always late in the evening and are among the healthiest people and with one of the highest life expectancy in the world! Humans are very different! What is good for one, is bad for the other. And, by the way, it's none of your business what other people do and how they live .

You can buy a tipi, that is more comfortable as a tent.

Work with what you have, trying to make a green paradise in a dry land will break your back and spirits.

Coffee ground which he throw away is also to be used as compost? At least some videos on youtube say that. Check if true first😂

6pm is lunch in Greece!We eat dinner at 10-11pm
Just remember Casey water is becoming a problem in Greece and it will be expensive to water all that area
