I am enjoying your journey. We have a similar adventure very near to you. We bought our land in 2022 just before the rules changed so we can't build on it. We submitted plans in July to restore a kalivi on the land and we hope to hear soon if we have been successful. A nervous wait!!

Very nice! I am also in the period of designing my cottage house in Peloponnese and have opted for a ground floor only. Also a stone house with a tiled roof. One of two bedrooms will be in an attic, under inclined roof. I think that if you want to intergrade a house into the Greek countryside, a second level is too much. And 4.5 meters height is enough in most cases...

Thanks for sharing more updates on your journey Casey. I think your stonewall looks better. One might say that you are a photographer and have eye for colors and detail, but to be honest, that wall fits better with the environment and everything around. The other is bland just like any other stone wall we see everywhere. Not a push, please don't ruin that wall because of this comment 😅 Keep it up

People all over the world are faced with similar insane regulations that basically you have not right to a permits to build in Your land Under the pretex of protecting the land from the people. This is part of a sick plot , part of the UN Agenda 2030 where they want to own every land , and all resource and basically for people to 'own nothing and be happy". this is an anti human agenda. UNLESS people see the blatant stealing of our land (and our rights on what we can do with our land) and stealing the land use value leaving people with not much choice of where to live except living in a small apartments in cities. this is all done for control.
