Hans Zimmer is absolutely amazing, but Trent & Atticus Ross made a soundtrack that completely lifted the whole movie. It's innovative. Zimmer's score is absolutely original and amazing, I've been listening to both of the scores for the last few months on my iPod. Thing is, Trent & Atticus just made something that doesn't sound like ANY other movie's score out there. There's lots of industrial music in many movies out there, but this is by far the most different and original. CONGRATS TRENT!

Music scores are supposed to amplify the entire feeling and overall emotion of the movie. It's meant to be an audio representation of what you see. With that being said, this score is fantastic because it does a phenomenal job at capturing the entire feel and emotion of the movie. Inception was great but this score did a better job at conveying the overall feeling of the movie....a well deserved win!
MrsTruthTeller I find this soundtrack far more interesting and unique. It took a couple of viewings of the film to fully realise the effect it takes on you. It supported the atmosphere and energy of the film more effectively than Inception. To take two examples, Time is great: anthemic, emotive and beautiful; Hand Covers Bruise just has this crackling, electric, growing energy, full of the excitement, uncertainty and unease of being a young adult.
MrsTruthTeller The Inception soundtrack made me feel completely intone with the movie. You couldn't throw the Dunkirk track, The Dark Knight track, or Blade Runner 2049 track in Inception and have it feel the same.
Watching this movie for the first time was something else. The music was pretty much perfect. This song especially made it seem like you were in the room with Mark. One of the best movies i have seen in years and a true master piece.
Gates and Jobs story are actually very close to each other, as they were allies turned enemies and much of the ruthlessness and tense parts of their story were against each other. Watch the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley", it tells their story quite well.
This is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time, and this score has almost everything to do with it. It just fit perfectly and got me exhilarated for a guy doing a bunch of programming. Hope it wins best score tomorrow.
A song doesn't have to contain a human voice or even words to be considered a song. You could also make a case that all instrumentation is itself a form of singing.

Sean Tilley song - a short poem or other set of words set to music or meant to be sung. It's what the dictionary says
If you take Inception's soundtrack and place it over other massive films, you will find that it still somewhat fits. Do the same with this score and it won't fit anything. That's because the music is so in tune with the film's mood that it's as unique as the film itself.
@Vibe Master yeah he spelt it wrong. People still today hear inception, interstellar, batman Trilogy soundtracks. Both inception and interestellar got 100M views for their soundtracks and so many fan made soundtracks
@@prashanthadepu3013 So what gets more views is automatically better? I personally like Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross' scores for Fincher films a lot more than Hans Zimmer's for Nolan movies...
This movie is a flawless union of director, screenwriter, and composer. The acting is of course fantastic but the talent involved in constructing the film around the performances is what makes it so special. So glad Reznor and Ross have become a regular composing team, their work for Watchmen is probably their best since Social Network.
This was completely deserved. I loved the music when I first saw this movie, and usually, I don't think about the music unless there's a sweeping action score or something, but this music really added to the movie's atmosphere.
This score brought the film to a whole new level- I don't know if people realize how much it really does add. TSN would not have been the same without it! Definitely deserved to win. It's just like the film: understated and timely.
This soundtrack totally deserved the oscar. I don't know if you like the songs or not but they were played in the right moment and were perfect for every scene like go and listen "Hand Covers Bruise" "it catches up with you" this movie was nothing without the soundtrack (I mean it was good anyways, but the music played a really important part) this soundtrack was beautifully select.
Next is Elliot. They're also open but with no indexes on Apache. I can run an empty search and it returns all of the images in the database in a single page. Then I can save the page and Mozilla will save all the images for me. Excellent. Moving right along.
It's my college days song everytime I have huge test coming up or project in deadline haha so thankful for these soundtrack for keeping me on track to my classes😆
Or was it here the heartbeat thrummed with vigor? Rapid and pacing, as a winding river over rapid and ruin? Through the vast network of contingents, minds and ever shrinking holes to escape through; one does not run, but paces through the digital phenomenon of the human brain, or maybe the architectural design of a vast network connecting so many minds the network itself becomes beyond relevant. It grows and grows, becoming a haze of bright light and great depressions and one day comes to a sudden halt to turn round and gaze upon its mass.

This score occurs during the montage when Eduardo and Mark are trying to figure out the code for a website. The 8 bit type computer music captures Mark's mechanical mind with him doing all the math and stuff. Pretty dope
