I watched this movie 3 times in 3 days. I just can’t get enough of the perfect casting, perfect acting, directing, soundtrack... man , a 10/10 if I’ve ever seen one.
They speak too quickly for my taste. XD
@@carletonclements4931 it has very punchy dialogue
Carleton Clements aaron sorkin’s writing makes me rewind a few scenes on first viewing but once you get gripped by his punchy dialouge, it doesn’t let go until the end

what a terrible friend.
I love the way the music for Social Network is written. In the soundtrack there is a piano, which represents humanity, while most of the track is taken up by electronic instruments, which kind of go against humanity and represent the internet and digital things. And in the end the melody that was played by the piano is played by an 8-bit instrument, that is, by the end everything becomes digital and without humanity, just like the end of the movie.
This music is ageless. It just screams "internet", "digital", and everything to do with social networking.
It's amazing the range of emotions in this track. It's weird but it seems to capture both dark, brooding, whimsical and hopeful all in one go. Atticus and Trent are absolute geniuses.
Couldn't agree more...
I know, right? Trent Reznor's a genius.
It's because it's NIN 💯🎯💜🍰👑🌟💎
@@happyhappyjoyjoy9795 nin, ftw 🙂
I find the soundtrack list better than facebook itself
ha ha exactly
Hate Zucc. Hate this movie. Love Trent and Atticus' score.
@@pheanelrondo Ya know Trent and Atticus must of realized this movie was literally a pile of excrement. But a lot of the score is did is FANTASTIC. I really like "In Motion". So what happened? Did they sell out? Did they not see the while movie. I don't know how it works when you score a movie. A lot of these songs have such a neat Nintendo affect. Aren't they scoring The Watchman next? Great comic, a LOT of layers, I hope they don't dumb it down and fuck it up. Either way we know the music will be good lol.
ez
Melody Andrules what? This is EASILY one of the best Fincher movies. It looks futuristic even now. The technical skill is out of this world, the drama is Shakesperean and I've yet to see a movie to describe our digital generation better.
This song feels so futuristic like I'm in 2077. It gives me the chills.
2:24 to 2:53 always gives me chills. Greatest sound I have ever heard.
This is taken from some old eurodance song, just can't remember the name.
Dude, nice catch.
feels like a throwback to the downward spiral/fragile days

Incredible. This movie is in my top 5 easily. Dialogue, acting and soundtrack. Perfection. The emotion in the music is so strong.
really do not care for facebook; yet the film is brilliant as is the soundtrack
what are your other 4?
@@campbejouc I don't think anyone who enjoyed this movie cared for facebook.
This song makes me want to do something complex and sophisticated.
Everybody is taking about 2:24 but what about 3:26? Damn. What a flawless soundtrack.

Zuckerberg's theme music when he goes through others private data.
This whole soundtrack manages to elicit both wonder and awe, yet an unnerving sense of dread and horror...
It's incredible!
Couldn't have described it better
Sounds like this band Nine Inch Nails
When the distorted guitar comes in it really adds a new shade of raw emotion.
i remember finding out that for best original score in 2011, inception lost. "how?", i thought - it was zimmer's best work, and is a timeless classic. having not listened or even watched the social network, and a bit pissed that inception, or even httyd lost to what was being called "the first non-classical score" to win an oscar, i jumped into the film.
sufficed to say that i stood corrected. reznor and ross have composed one of my top 5 scores of all time. in a year with such strong competitors, i had high expectations for this score, but the film and the score absolutely blew me away. the film is a masterpiece, and this award is one of the few times i'd agree with the academy's somewhat more popularly controversial decisions.
This is one of my favorite songs, just period. So powerful.
agreed :)
I couldn’t agree more! Writing to this song is amazing.
Its music 😊
good music for programming ! Even If I don't plan to be a programmer ...
edm
This alone deserves an Oscar
God, I just started getting into music production. And I want to get to this level so badly. I just hear years of experience pouring through my ears.
How can you "hear" the years experience in this? Is there stuff that we, the general listener, aren't aware of?
@@UnknownUser-gd3ls Tons of techniques he's learned over the years is one of them. How you make synth drones, how to get the arpeggiation to sound just right, the numerous amounts of layers, knowing what chords fit. There's lots of parts of his music I think "How the hell did he come up with that?"
We will watch your career with great interest
Good luck getting to Trent's level.
@@k1llshot_300 indeed we will
One of the best soundtracks ever made !!
Though this score was a perfect fit to a great movie the score at times feels like it is so much more than the film.
Grey Area gotta agree when I finished the film I realized this is what made the film
Yes.
I fucking LOVE THIS SONG.
Trent and Atticus are legends when it comes to making the listener connected to their music emotionally. I have been addicted for years. Their music is like a sinusoidal function in my emotional ups and downs; I always return.
This, and Gone Girl's soundtrack are amazing.
I feel like a robot on pilot mode still doing some upgrading and diagnostics hearing this
"I write better code while listening to this"
This soundtrack makes me want to do something world changing that would make me a billionaire... Sadly, I don't have any skills and ambitions to make something happen...
This and "technically missing" from Gone Girl are my go-to songs when I am in a rush and I need the perfect music to get me in motion. LOVE this.
끼워라 나의틀니 I also recommend "Jack it Up" and "It's not Working" from the Steve Jobs soundtrack. It's very similar to this OST.
what about "in motion" ? xD
In motion is my favourite

Tron:Legacy
Inception
and THIS!
Hi, welcome to the future :)
This music captured the look and feel of the movie so well.
I really loved how fincher managed this kind of story into his usual mould, seriously it's really chilling
2:24: Overwhelmed, things spiraling out of control, stress level going off the charts
my favorite song off the soundtrack. the ending is so beautiful.
trent is a genious
Oscar De Jodar and he can spell GENIUS.

Best Movie of 2000's
Stunning Soundtrack
David Fincher is really "UNDERRATE"!
Literally read in an article: "How does the initial unwinding of origin DNA occur? One intriguing possibility is that..." when listening to this soundtrack. Guess I found the perfect match!
Every single time that I listen this soundtrack I remember the scene where Eduardo Savering is reading a book and I don't know what it means but it makes me feel inspired.
I play this song each night hoping to get punched by The Phoenix.
so you go to harvard? cool
I knew it! It was you! You did it! You planted the story about the chicken!
2:24 that transition gives me goosebumps
This song makes me feel as though I've worked very hard for something my entire life, and then I walk and look back and see my mansion, family and friends celebrating, and all the rewards of it
...its like you know your walking into certain death, but its to save mankind from destruction.
Low key the best song in the score
Imagine you are being kidnapped by your favorite childhood cartoon And you are a prisoner to them, You need to find a way escape. You are making technological advancements in ways to escape prisons, You also, need to plan out the situation, Analyze the environment.
When I hear this particular piece of music, it makes me realise that Mr. Reznor could definitely compose music for a Super Hero movie!
I haven't even seen this movie ( as of this date ) and i can just tell it must be amazing from its soundtrack.
this song got me through basic officer training, making me realize that impossible is only a state of mind and anything is actually possible
This song stirs so many emotions up in me... Immense
I know this was just on the leaked version of Drive, but man, it just fit so well.
HELPS ME FOCUS ON MY STUDIES.
Mayur Lagad it’ll make a good study music
This really made my "No nut November" difficult.
Crackhead
It's a Trent Reznor (+ Atticus Ross) song, what did you expect?
1 year later
This song motivates me
Hands down my favourite movie of all time
still remember when i saw this scene in the cinema, when Eduardo received his letter, gave me chills and a feeling of... now it starts... time to get serious :)
The screenplay, dialogues, editing, casting and score! Perfect! Everything is perfect!
This is just another testament to the genius that is Trent Reznor .......
Anyone else reminded of (Super) Donkey Kong (Country) when you hear this song?
Man, those games had awesome music, and it's eerie how similar this is, not to any specific theme in DK, but more like a flashback of the series as a whole. Man, now I wanna speed-roll past some rats and wasps.
This is the track from the soundtrack that got me hooked to it as a whole!!
How you doing?
20 mins ago i was watching social network song touched me had to shazam it didnt think it would work but here i am. i wanna hear more of this , its my 3rd time watching the movie im from kenya btw, nice time my rationally thinking friends
This track is like a full movie even by itself.
You hear how Reznor and Ross create a story, there’s a theme of Zuckerberg’s loneliness, and underneath his loneliness there’s ideas wobbling in his mind.
And at 2:26 when guitars are starting to scream this sorrow melody like a siren - thats the birth of THE idea.
The track’s ending with Zuck’s theme melody once again, but this final time played with a robot-sounding synth, showing us that in the end Mark becomes soulless.
This is how a great scene can be perfect.
seriously when I heard that it's the story of Facebook, I thought another story of rags to riches and I avoided it, but then I saw fight club, seven, ccbb and tgwdt and I watched this and I must say only David fincher could have done it a crowning achievement in filmmaking
God bless us all, hope everyone hard work, and dedication; helps everyone's family; and make a positive impact in this world.
I honestly think this music is so good it is like a work on art. This movie will make you want to get a tech business.
I was watching movie "Drive" and I thought "wait, I have heard this song somewhere", but I couldn't remember where until I searched on google. :)
great music to study to
Listening to this is great for writing essays, especially when under a lot of stress
"assign each player a rating of Ra and Rb, where the expected score for each player is Ea and Eb respectivley, then 1/[1+10(Rb-Ra)/400]...."
Wrong song.
@DarkSaborComa Whats wrong with you? Grow up.
Robert_Geizzini You'll have to elaborate, internet cretin.
I think you need an psychologist. Something is wrong with you.Insulting
people in the internet for no reason... You got my commiseration.
Robert_Geizzini It's the internet dude, that's the point, I don't need to use my neocortex or whatever it is.
I think you're the one who's immature here. Have you ever considered the effect the two words 'grow up' have on an "immature" person? None at all. It means nothing. It just makes *you* feel better about yourself.
This film's score is extremely listenable.
The greatest score on the movie
This was uploaded one day after my birthday, I LOVE IT!!!
This song makes you ponder all the trillions locked up in the Internet by 2030 let's get this money..
This song makes me feel like planting a chicken story on eduardo saverin.
Just always gives me the envy to make wonderful things and begin new big life project! An amazing track.
That was the greatest experience of my life.
Thank you.
This is what creation sounds in the mind of every artist, a EUREKA! moment perfectelly composed by Reznor and Ross
I feel like ill become a billionaire one day whenever I listen to this while studying
I know right!!
Something cool about this track is that the piano melody is played really softly, and very quiet compared to the rest of the instrumentation, but it still powers through. Maybe this is because it's such a good melody, or maybe it just has something to do with the mixing or the instruments chosen. Regardless, it's really dope.
tbh, the mixing of the piano’s the ONE thing i had a problem with. i’m glad i can hear it, but i was really looking to hear that piano punch through the mix when the chords change
Your perfect genious makes me cry! Please do not stop?!
Typing anything on the computer while listening to this makes me feel like a genius.
My favorite on the soundtrack. ^^
Success is my only option, failure is not.. Die doing it.
@Chillava
Don't forget the hacker gibberish!
"Just gotta quickie a write flood script to the X27 buffer index, force a RAID failure then pipeline the rebuild accounts to my proxy server. Child's play."
I'm glad that I own this movie. Such a great soundtrack. Makes me want to further develop something amazing that I can call my own.
I am quite literally nailing the Lapsang while listening to greatness like this. Even I like the way I work it.
So it's just past 2am and I have finally finished my code for my computer science coursework which is due in today, all I can say is this soundtrack and more specifically this track got me there.
amazing ending. this is the best song in the soundtrack I think. AMAZING TUNE.
Just amazing sounding
Been looking for this one!
0:00 to 4:31 is the best part
The percussive beat at the beginning reminds me of Tangerine Dream's score for Risky Business... I love coding to this whole soundtrack.

Best score from the movie.
This movie is well written mainly in two ways: Dialogs and Music
