Never heard of what you’re talking about that’s why I love you too but I can always find something you for the garden that I’ve never heard it thank you so much for sharing this awesome project with us
It was an interesting project that has inspired a lot of new ideas. Thanks for watching, glad you're enjoying the videos! Feel free to check out my main channel as well @ JT Bear, if you enjoy the gardening!
The overall idea is amazing but this project didn't quite do it justice ... I forget who said the stomach thing first but ya, it's a great way to digest the idea! Thanks for watching!
you need a vacuum break where your liquid overflow comes out or you could cause a syphon to occur... a simple small hole in the top of the outlet pipe will do
Mr Bear, FYI bio-digester are perfectly happy to consume fats & oils, they just take a little longer than green Waste, which is a little slower than sewer Waste which is already a long way along the process of being digested
Also, fats and oils produce more gas than green kitchen waste (veggie and fruit peelings) for a similar amount, because they (fats and oils) are much higher in calorific value.
Hi, excellent video. One thing you need to do is get the second tube (the one in the side of the bottle) to go under the liquid surface. This is important because you need to create pressure by the rising methane gas so you can use that same pressure to push the methane out the top tube for use. This same pressure will push liquid fertilizer to the side for your garden from the middle of the liquid column. Don’t worry about the oxygen there won’t be much. Pressure is more important for biogas systems.
This tip is correct any gas will take the easy way out so will exit from the effluent tube that why all the other one take the effluent from the middle and then use a riser to bring it to the level of the liquid you want a t is used to stop it from siphoning it down check solar cities biodigesters they have an excellent video on making the digester
Not sure how safe that would be to travel with. Methane is a suffocation risk due to it being heavier than oxygen & it will force air out of a small space if it can ...
Your effluent pipe is a way for air to be introduced into the digester and if sunlight is introduced though the walls of of the digester, the microbes will start to make oxygen which will kill off all the bacteria that produces your methane gas. You must paint your digester a dark colour.
Nice video, i was looking for a system like that to show my science students. The idea behind painting the digester is : 1- it heats up much more in the sun, wich the bacterias like (body temp is great for bacterias too!) and 2- it prevents the formations of algae (who need light to live) wich releases oxigen and turn your CH4 output to non flamable CO2 and thus ruin the whole process in the long run.
I would hunt down the video from the Pakistani Science club if you want to inspire a class. Those kids did a much better job getting the setup together & making it work! Cheers!
Center Enamel offers anaerobic digesters and biogas storage tanks for biogas project. We design, manufacture and install biogas tanks for more than 30 years.
After digesting of the waste how long will it take to exchange the nonfunctional remaining of the waste because by adding waste the container will be full which is not good idea
I believe the idea is that as the waste breaks down inside it turns into more of a liquid. That liquid then comes out the overflow as the fertilizer when you add more waste to the system. I think? Still haven't got this 100% yet ...
Salam. Pakistan Science Club I'm Murfhy from Philippines can i have your gmail? because i have a lot of question about your home made biogas digester tank if it's that ok from you? shukran
Wow you guys are talented. I am planing to design a biogas plant for electricity generation using sludge from waste water treatment plant. Please can you share some ideas to me.
Codys Lab used rabbit droppings to start his up & running so I'd say it's a safe bet! I still want to find a way to process the presents Laz leaves us in the yard but I'd rather have it be something that can be shovel fed ...
All cities and towns in the world should be run on our waist! It wouldn't be hard to covert all our sewer plants into power plants and it would beat dumping our waist in our oceans!
Hello. I like biogas and I would like to do it at home. However, I only have one question. Do you want to help me know how we do the security part of biogas so that it does not explode because I tested the gas is formed, but I do not know how to secure my first attempt to biogas manufacturing. thank you for helping me
I never got to hook this up to anything so I cannot help with that but there are many great videos here on RUclips about using biogas safely so I'm sure someone can help. Glad to hear you got the gas part working, good luck!
I work on an AD plant and the ratio of feed is critical and also it must be mixed constantly and at a specific temperature to encourage the bacteria to work at optimal to produce gas the vessel could also produce quantities of H2S which is potentially dangerous
LOVE your name! Something this size isn't going to produce a whole lot for your generator but something more like an IBC tote version might ... Great idea, best of luck!
Very cool! As I've commented elsewhere, I'm curious to see the effluent used as nutes for a hydroponic system. I'm tempted to create a setup like this just for the effluent!
I'm gonna start watering the new raised bed with this and see if I notice any sort of improvement. This first bit of stuff should at least have the benefits of compost tea ... or so I tell myself anyway ...
This video was really helpful since I am making one for my school's science fair 💕
Good luck but check out that Pak Science club video before you do!

lol those kids from pakistan brought me here 👍👍
I think they did a much better job than I did. :-)
Great video. Thanks for the explanation. I liked how you put it....creating a artificial stomach. Nice work.
The overall idea is amazing but this project didn't quite do it justice ... I forget who said the stomach thing first but ya, it's a great way to digest the idea! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for acknowledging the Pakistani's kids talent
They did a great job & made a fantastic video. :-)
Thanks for watching!

Great one
thanks
Yay! I was the 1,000th like. May you get many thousands more. Keep up the good work!
Well thank you very much!
great video this looks like it would work for people traveling in a RV or camper full time so they don't have to use propane gas only
Not sure how safe that would be to travel with. Methane is a suffocation risk due to it being heavier than oxygen & it will force air out of a small space if it can ...

Wonderful, please add a link to this so folks can check out what you do!
(I'll save it from the spam folder)
Salut est ce que c'est Les déchets seul il met dans la plastique ?
Thanks for sharing biogas
thanks for watching
Thanks
Thank you so much really very nice 👍 hopefully waiting for next video 😀✋
Most welcome 😊
Hi
Help me understand something here. What will stop the methane gas from escaping through the outlet pipe if oxygen can escape through it.
I think its because methane is lither than oxy... its like water and oil I think? Correct me if im wrong
Since methane is heavier the oxygen is forced up and out first, then new methane production builds and creates pressure ... or so they say!
That's excellent bro. Simple as.
Im just a bit confused though.
Why are they fracturing rocks for methane again?❤

THIS IS TOO GOOD! I UNDERSTOOD THE CONCEPT, THE DESIGN. IT WAS HUMOROUS TOO!
Thanks for watching!
Nice job guy.
thanks
your effluent pipe must be exit a bit below the top of the fluid to keep oxygen out
I've made a couple of adjustments to make up for that issue but a very good point!
Why don't you use fresh grass. I mean green grasses which have not yet rotten?
Thank you so much for mention us
Thank you for the great video you made!
Salam. Pakistan Science Club I'm Murfhy from Philippines can i have your gmail? because i have a lot of question about your home made biogas digester tank if it's that ok from you? shukran
Murfhy Joy Solano visit their website bro
Great job
Wow you guys are talented. I am planing to design a biogas plant for electricity generation using sludge from waste water treatment plant. Please can you share some ideas to me.
U need only cow dug use it
I've heard that, but have no cows ...
I really like 💯🌹👍👍🏻👍🏻 videos. Hope to hear from you soon 🙏❤️🙏
Thanks!
Fantastic !
Glad you like it!
The only sustainable energy
Well, it's on the list anyway ...
I like this vedio
Thanks!
Wow this is great video I must confess. A good Job done there.
If you enjoyed this, then you should go check out the video by the PAK Science club. Those kids did a far better job!
It's a septic tank,I think!
I like the idea of yard waste better than touching dog waste. Though, rabbits waste might work well too.
Codys Lab used rabbit droppings to start his up & running so I'd say it's a safe bet! I still want to find a way to process the presents Laz leaves us in the yard but I'd rather have it be something that can be shovel fed ...
Use vegetable scraps and a dead mouse or bird to kick start the process, not much feed material(sugars)in dry yard waste, green lawn clippings are ok.
All cities and towns in the world should be run on our waist! It wouldn't be hard to covert all our sewer plants into power plants and it would beat dumping our waist in our oceans!
A fantastic idea, I'd like to see industrial livestock barns set up with these as well!
If you want it to work... Use cow dung and later you can start feeding it grass clippings
Looking forward to trying this again but ya, with proper cattle waste next time ...

Hey Mr. Osodu, made it out alive?
Give us a thumbs up and I'll try this myself.
I subscribed i enjoyed your video it was very educational thank you
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the sub!

Must be an interesting job, thanks for the comment!
Did you get any gas from it other than co2?
What happens to the solid waste ?
The depth of each pipe and their purposes ?
Boss please my the fire is not coming
im sure someone asked already but i will again... where is the second video?
here's the link! - ruclips.net/video/wd9QXE5sSHw/видео.html
I am a New Subscribed
Thanks for subbing!
Great job, I am looking for designs for a food waste digester to power my camping generator for free(with a regulator kit of course)
LOVE your name! Something this size isn't going to produce a whole lot for your generator but something more like an IBC tote version might ...
Great idea, best of luck!
Bear Family Farm thanks!
How may I mix cow dung + water in 250 lts biodigester and how many days I will be waiting to use gas?
Until it's ready?
you should spray the bottle AFTER you show how deep in the pipes are and the system works.
would have been a great idea
Can we use dry leaves because I have much of it in my garden
Not sure how well that would work, probably just a better idea to compost the leaves normally.
Leave and kitchen waste might work well
Leaves will work if you add some other stuff like vegetable and fruit peels with a bit of water or even sour milk.
leaves you can but I'm not sure about dry one.
please can a plantain trunk be used in the production of the biogas
Sadly, I have no idea.
#pakistanScienceClub
I love those kids, they did a fantastic job!
Can I used human waste tho? It's all I have access to
No cattle anywhere? From what I've learned, these really need to be started with cattle dung ...
Heloo sir
Do you supposed to close both inlet & outlet pcv?
Probably ... that could be why this didn't work as well as I had hoped ...
Wow im indonesia 🇮🇩bumiayu😂
i try this but nothing happen
Did you use proper cow manure? They tell me that's where I went wrong with this one ...
i use pig manure sir.
What about human poo can it work
Some say yes, but you need to start it with cattle dung first.
can we use human waste for this project?
I'd check a few other systems first and make something larger but I've seen it done with an outhouse ... that was a MUCH larger system though!
Vaere good good
thank you
Biodigester is needed now a days.
They could be quite useful if used wisely.
Thanks for watching!
Pls send me the material required
Wish I could, but I can't. Look around, be creative, see what you can find.
Good luck!
Hi I'm from Uganda I to learn this biogas
Dog waste, new to me. Every video recommends either leaves and salt, or food waste and salt, or leaves and cow dung.
This did not quite go as planned, find cattle dung if possible.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
👍😆
:-)
Hope this worked out :)
Nope, but it was educational!
Чувак ты на Чака Нориса похож 😂
Well, thanks!
Its bacteria and enzymes
You let air in the water out let. You are not going to get much out of this. Maybe enough to run a cigarette lighter.
Was never meant to be anything big, just a demo toy really.
Yeah!
Use dung man
Yup, thanks for watching!
Hindi lengvej me btao
wish I could, sorry
Failed this
You or me, 'cuz I know I screwed it up somehow ... Check out the kids at the Pak Science club, they did a great job with theirs!
" ... with that hole slightly warm, I should be able to slide my pipe into that ... "
Lol, so maybe the wording is a bit ... questionable ...
Thanks for watchin'!
@@bearfamilyfarm4434 It's fine buddy 👌🏻
Oo
:-)
Useless, is it?
I put my poop in this?
It needs to be started with cattle manure first, but I've seen outhouses attached to bio-gas systems.
Too much explaination I got heaache
Sorry to hear that, good luck with your headache!

What's day?yous
too much talk
I made an aircraft in years but I didn't fly that... hopeless video.
Well, thanks for watching & commenting anyway. :-)
