The first three, Kiss albums were their best material. This tune is timeless for me. It also looks like an easier one for me to learn. Great playing and awesome lesson. I sure hope and pray Ace is on top of his game when you go to see him. I've been lucky enough to see him years ago with Faster Pussycat & Alice Cooper. He didn't play much Kiss material back then, but he sounded awesome. Ace is my favorite guitar, Solo writer. Him and Gilmour. I had to save this lesson to my favorites. Thanks for all your killer lessons. Peace.. Joe
Thank you so much Joe. I really appreciate you your kindness and checking out my videos. Yea, I'm a little worried about the upcoming Ace show. The last time I saw him was disappointing.
Just starting to watch this video lesson, and was glad to see it! I always thought this was a fantastic way to start out the Hotter than Hell album. 🤘 Ace shows are my favorite shows. Have a blast!!
Thank you so much my friend. I appreciate your kindness and support. I agree, the perfect introduction song for Hotter Than Hell. I do wish they would remix Hotter Than Hell. It's a very underrated KISS album in my opinion. Thanks again so much.
@@ChristopherCox he definitely did better back in 1995 when I saw him and Peter on the bad boys tour just before Kiss reunited and put the makeup on back on!
I've always loved this song from the first time I heard it on Alive when I was a little kid. The rhythm is fun to play and now I have no excuse not to learn the lead. Love your work mate. I hope Ace puts on a great show for ya.
Hey buddy! Thanks so much my friend. The lead is a little different than Ace's other solos. He usually does these wide string bends, but this tune he changes it up. This is one of those overlooked KISS songs should be in every set list. I love this song. Thanks again man.
Hey Chris, Totally agree with you here on why they don’t play this one more. Such a cool song man, the lead is real cool too 🤙 I’m seeing Kiss at the Garden on their second to final night, I believe it’s a Friday. Really wish Pete and Ace would make a cameo of some sort but sadly I don’t see it happening. I saw Ace last year too over at the Palladium and he was great 🤟 Anyway, thanks for the lesson, I’m going through it here to see what I’m doing wrong when I play it ahah!
Also love that you include all of Ace's little 'ism's'. He definitely does the 'chucka's' a whole lot as well as hitting those dead notes in his leads as you also mentioned 👍 Great stuff Chris, love all the Kiss videos you put in your feeds man, thanks again. Tommy~
Hey Tommy! Thanks so much my friend. I will be at the 12/2 show as well. It's going to be an amazing experience. I'll probably cry like a child. It's gonna be hard knowing this is the last time I will see KISS live.
So after learning the song yesterday, I wanted to just go over this another time here so it's actually memorized. I'm over here going nuts because it just didn't sound right 🤣.... I finally realized I grabbed a different guitar here and of course it was in standard tuning, I'll never learn man lol, anyhows thanks again. @@ChristopherCox
Hey Dan. The over-drive sound I'm getting is from the pedal I'm using called the Axentrix A1. It's a fantastic distortion pedal. My amp is actually set to almost a clean sound. Their website link is in the video description section and they are also are on are on Reverb. 🙂. Thanks my friend.
This is a great song , Chris ! Every one off this album is fantastic. Thanks Chris , Tom
Hey Tom! Thank you buddy. I agree. A criminally overlooked album in my opinion.

ya man ,this is a great one and fun to play!
Definitely. One of the better Paul Stanley songs. Great chorus.

I was at that Winston Ace show too. Live in Mocksville. Thanks for the lesson!
Oh wow. That's awesome. It was definitely an interesting show 😆😆

@@flyfishincrazy Yea, I think he was playing a lot better on that tour. He kinda seemed out of it at that Winston show.
I've been pondering doing this as a cover on my album. Thanks for the refresher! Great video.
Oh yea man that would be a killer tune to cover. I'd love to hear when you get it finished.
Thanks so much Jon

One of my favorites from their first 3 albums.
Mine too. I hope they play it live on the last show, but I'm kinda doubtful they will.
Really good video ..
Real fun
Easy to understand...
although analytical
Fantastic 😊
Thank you so much. I really do appreciate your kindness and taking the time to comment. Thank you my friend
Nice Chris! Pulling out the deep Kiss cuts! Thanks!
Thank you Steven. I really appreciate you buddy 🙂
Thanks!
Another Great lesson of an Awesome song.
This is one of my favorite songs. The songs from HtH were some of the best on KISS Unplugged as well.
Thank you so my friend. I really appreciate your kindness. I've always thought HTH was one of their better albums. I just wish they would remix it.
Great tune
One of the better songs off Hotter Than Hell
That’s a badass guitar dude
Thanks man 🙂

Enjoy the show man. Meanwhile I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a cameo of Ace & Pete lol

We’ve all done that before 😅@@TommySG1
Was always my favorite off Alive, even before i played guitar
My 3 favorites from Alive I, Watchin you, Got to Choose, and Parasite. Man, those tunes are just so good.
Thanks!
Thank you my friend 🙂
Can you tell me what your Amp settings are? It sounds great!

Please make a tutorial of shandi, I would love it if you did it 😔
Thanks so much for the request. I'll definitely put Shandi on my list of further KISS guitar lessons. 🙂👍
I always thought the main riff was a rip on Jumping Jack Flash
I can definitely hear that as an influence for sure 🙂
